iPhone X Vs iPhone 7 Plus In 2020! (Comparison) (Review)

Welcome back to the channel everyone. Today we get to talk about two other phones. That might be a little weird. You might be wondering why you're even comparing them, but there's still a lot of demographics that wants to see whether they should pick up an iPhone 7 plus in 2020, or pick up an iPhone 10. Now I've done separate still worth of videos on these I've reviewed all of these on 20/20 and see how they compare, and everything, and I noticed that yeah, both phones have huge audience and still those videos have done really well, so I know, there's a ton of people who want to see both these phones compared, and I'll. Definitely tell you one of the biggest separating factors between both.

These phones are not even the way it looks or whatever it would definitely be. The price the iPhone 10, even in the user market, on Amazon cost twice as much as the iPhone 7 plus right now, the iPhone 7 plus is costing about $200 on Amazon. The iPhone 10 is costing about $400 there. So I'll leave both these link down in the description for those prices. If you want to pick them up from there and help support the channel at the same time, that's one of the craziest differences between them will definitely be the price tag and I.

Don't think one phone really excels the other one out of the water, but there definitely is a clear winner, and I'll just go ahead and spoil the whole video. The iPhone 10 would definitely do you much better in the future and long-term than the iPhone 7 plus, but at the same time the seven plus I think is a better value per dollar. I think you're getting much more of a phone now in 2020 for that price tag than the iPhone 10, but both really I think are a lot of similarities between them. I know that was broken English, but there's a lot of similarities between both these phones and I. Don't really think there's like a huge advantage for picking up one or the other, but I.

Think more of the advantages are probably for the iPhone tend to be honest. Now, looking at the front, the iPhone 7 plus had a 5.5 inch retina IPS LCD. It was a 1080p display and I, don't think it was like bad screen at all. I think they did a pretty good job at it, as I've said before, like I think around that 6, plus 6s, plus and 7 plus eras, those phones, you kind of already knew what the screens look like. So I kind of find it's just been around it so much that I, already kind of like I just think it's normal, so I don't think it was a bad display.

However, when the A+ came on in the eighth, those phones brought true tone technology and that really did change up a lot of things. I, like true tone. It makes the screen look down much better and for sure I think that phone looks perfect, but this one looks pretty good overall I think it looks pretty normal to me. I, don't think it's, but the iPhone 10, however, has a 5.8 inch. Super retina OLED display its 1125 by 24, 36 pixels, and what I can say about that display is that that display is really, really good, even with the 11 Pro and 11 Pro max those displays.

Might be better, but they all the exact is same to be honest, I, don't really I! Think they're, saying that the iPhone tends display is very, very good, and the biggest thing to keep in mind is that this display is the future. Basically, every single phone that's going to be coming out now will look some sort of way from the iPhone 10. You know, and I'm not saying every phone in the market I'm saying every iPhone, whether they remove them not to keep it whatever the case is it's going to look pretty much the same as the iPhone 10, and that's a humongous thing to consider. When you buy a phone, you want to make sure you keep it for a long time, and you don't want to keep switching phones and feel like you have an outdated phone all the time and with these seven plus, you might feel like that. But with the iPhone 10, you have that newer design, which is really cool to gesture base design.

That's one of the biggest advantages for picking up an iPhone 10 over an iPhone 7 plus my opinion. Would that be the design? Now, on the front you can see, we also have a whole button on the 7 plus a bit more bezel than the iPhone 10. But you know like I, said I, don't think people look at it and be like that's an older way, outdated, ugly phone I. Just think people say that's just an older iPhone. You know I think that's just what I've been saying, and I think for a lot of people that make sense, but I think a lot of people don't really understand it.

Either I barely understand, if I'm being honest on the bottom, they are lightning ports on the back dual camera setups on both the iPhone 10 does have wireless charging, though the iPhone 7 plus does not but, like I, said the dual camera setup. That means the passive the camera test by default. So that's really cool I like that. Now both phones do have IP certification. They have IP 67 dust and water resistance.

You can go up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. That's a humongous advantage for both phones and I loved, seeing that on both of them. So that really pretty much covers it up in terms the outside I. Think you guys pretty much understand where I'm coming from on both sides now hitting on this software. The iPhone 7 plus technically, is one year older than the iPhone 10, so some people might think that's going to last.

You know a year class or something like that than the iPhone 10, but that might not be the case, and I'll explain in a second. So these seven plus came out with iOS 10 point: oh point one. It is upgradeable right now to I. Was thirteen point three point: one I'm not too sure when Apple's gonna push out the next update, hopefully sooner than later, because they're taking their time with it, but with the iPhone 10 it was started with iOS 11 point one: it is upgradeable right now. ? I was thirteen point three point one and 30.3 and unfortunate whatever, but because in my opinion the iPhone 10 didn't start off with exactly iOS 10 point o or even like 11 point or eleven point open one or whatever it started off a couple of months later. To be honest, I think you came on November.

You have to keep in mind that that is a humongous thing to consider and the fact that the iPhone 10 and the tennis you know are pretty much alike in every single way. That would make it so that, basically, both phones, the iPhone 10 antennas, might get the same amount of software updates. So I think the iPhone 10 series in the iPhone 8 series might get an extra year of support where the iPhone 7 plus might not, especially if the iPhone 6s gets an X-ray or support that make a lot of sense. So we're just going to have to wait and see, but that's kind of something that I'm seeing right now, but if we take it realistically, the iPhone 7 plus will probably not last as long as the iPhone 10 whether it gets an extra your support or not so another huge thing to consider, though, is that both phones do have that check-rein jailbreak, so you can joke them on any version of software. That's something I love seeing is something I love hearing, jail breaking, also one of the coolest things ever.

It doesn't like so much functionality from your device and by jail breaking your phone. You can unlock so many cool things and that's why I would recommend it. You can even order an older iPhone like these seven plus even the iPhone 10, and still be able to do a lot of things at the 11pro. Can the 11pro can't do, and maybe no iPhone, whatever ?, who knows, but that's one huge thing that both phones are kind of covered under, so that's really cool depending on the performance. The iPhone 7 plus has the appellate infusion chip a quad-core CPU, and there were three different models of 32 128 and 256 gigabyte models and all those models have three KEA bytes of RAM with the iPhones and has the Apple II 11 Bionic chip, a hex core CPU, and there were two different models of 64 and 2056 egg models, and both those models had three gigabytes of RAM.

Now what I can tell you about the performances of both phones is that I think for sure. Both phones are smooth, and both phones are fairly fast for the age that they came out with, but I think, obviously the iPhone 10 might be the faster device overall, even though these seven plus has a lower resolution display, and it's only when you're older I think these iPhone 10 is overall, the faster one for sure I mean I've used these phones for many times. Both phones used to be my main phones that I used on a daily basis and I found that the 7 plus was a very smooth device. I really couldn't hate on the 7 plus at all. You know it really.

It was actually first iPhone to bring three gigs of ram and the iPhone side has the same and I think the seven-plus definitely holds its own. Really, whatever I deal with it, you know playing games or anything. I couldn't really find too many things to complain about, because I understand that it's an older phone, if I thought to myself that it wasn't the newest phone or something then I might have been, you know a little let down or something, but the fact that I know it's an older phone I'm not really freaking out about it is too much with the iPhone 10. Really it's a good performing phone overall, you know even compared to an iPhone 10s or even in 11, Pro or 11 I found it to be fairly fast. There were cases, of course, where the iPhone 11 pros were faster, and I would expect that I'm paying more money to have a faster phone, but I think for sure.

The iPhone 10 does a very good job at kind of blending. In perfect performance, we're still being kind of eating. You know a little order, so I think the phone that's held up, probably the best one right now is the iPhone 10 in terms of performance. The iPhone 7 plus, did a really, really good job still, but I think the iPhone tenders just a little better, and I think you know in this day and age, especially now in 2020 we're going to be coming out with a lot of phones that really have a ton of different power and a ton of different things that you kind of need to have a phone that has some great capability in order to still stand up, so I think that really pretty much covers it up in terms of the performance standpoint now hitting only cameras, both phones have dual camera setups. The iPhone 7 plus has two 12 megapixel, sensors or wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens the iPhones and has two 12 megapixels as well a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens as well.

Big thing to note the iPhone 7 plus does not have oh, is on that secondary telephoto lens, where the iPhone 10 does on the front camera seven megapixel cameras on both pretty much the exact same cameras on them. On that back camera, you can do 4k on both phones, but a huge thing to consider is that you can do 4k at 60 frames per second on the iPhone 10, where you cannot do that on the iPhone, 7 plus I. Don't think a lot of people are going to use that I. Don't think people are really going to care about it too much. But that is a huge thing to note, because in the future, especially in 2020, we have phones like the galaxy s 20 that can do 8k, and you know, even though these 7 plus can do 4k can't even do 4k 60s.

That's a one thing to consider. You know I mean and in terms of the camera, in the camera quality of both phones. They really get you up. The camera quality I've done so many tests on these phones for throughout the life of on them and me, really honestly, don't see a big difference from a 7 plus to an iPhone 10. But when I do look at them side-by-side, there seems to be a little different I think t7, plus still kind of takes a little of a grainy photo which isn't that bad, but I've always found that the iPhone 10 and even the newer series they take a pretty good job at the photos and making them look a little less grainy and a little less washed out and that's one of the bigger differences other than that they look almost exactly the same.

They both have portrait mode and things like that. So as long as they have dual camera setups, in my opinion, I think we're set, so I think both phones are perfect in terms of the camera department now ending it off with the battery life. The iPhone 10 has a two thousand seven hundred and sixteen million power battery the iPhone 7 plus of two thousand nine hundred million power battery and really the biggest advantage, would probably go for these seven plus for having the better battery life. But the huge thing to consider is that the iPhone 10 does have wireless charging, so that kind of falls under the battery and battery features, and all that, so I probably recommend the iPhone 10 over these seven plus battery right between them isn't that far off they're both are almost kind of the same, but the iPhone 7 plus might be a little better, but the iPhone 10, like I said, has that wireless charging, which was a huge asset for that phone. Now that kind of some video and to answer the question: should you pick up an iPhone 10, or should you pick up an iPhone, 7, plus and 2020? What I will tell you was: is that I think both phones were perfect now in 2020 I think they both have a lot of advantages, but I think for sure the iPhone 7 plus is probably the better value per dollar like for $200.

You can't really go wrong. If you break it, you crack it. It's not even that big of a deal, but what I will tell you is if you want to prolong the life of your phone and if you want to have a phone that will last you for many more years, and you don't want to feel like you have an older phone, the iPhone 10 will probably be the best way to go you're not going to get it and feel like you have an outdated phone because, basically, all iPhones look like it's still, so I'll probably recommend you to pick up an iPhone 10 over an iPhone 7 plus you know, that's probably the way I would go.
