iPhone SE (2020) Vs iPhone 8 SPEED TEST! (Comparison)

Welcome back everyone we're going to be doing a speed comparison, the first time actually a full in-depth one between the iPhone SE 2020, which is on the left and the iPhone 8, which is on the right now. As you guys know, the iPhone SE 2020 is the latest and greatest by app for their budget lineup. So they have this $400 phone. They have multiple other phones that they're sign for way more expensive, but the iPhone, a dude, is selling for like about two hundred and something dollars in the use market and I. Think they're selling for about 280 on Amazon. So I'll leave one of these a link down below.

If you guys want to get it from there for the cheapest price and help support the channel at the same time and Amazon still has not released any iPhone. Se ? sorry Apple hasn't released any iPhone SE twos on Amazon, yet, so I'm just going to have to wait and see and Tonto goes there. So maybe there's someone either you guys can get, but most probably you going to have to go through Apple's website to pick these up. So, let's go and make sure all these apps are cleared out in the background, and I'll go ahead and tell you guys a little about each phone, so the iPhone 8 IBC has at Apple an 11 chip from back in the day from 2011 from 2017. Sorry, and this phone has two gigabytes of RAM with the iPhone SE.20/20 has the Apple II 13 Bionic chip, X, core CPU and a theory gigabyte of RAM on all those models. So let's go and see which one is the faster one.

Between these now I'll go ahead and load up, the know simple apps from the top, and you know from the basically main story: I don't go ahead and go through and go through the other ways to it's: gonna load up these apps' camera three, two one now I like loading up these, because you know it kind of builds up the apps in the background, so we can go and kind of test. The RAM later on photos three, two one: okay, they were pretty close their calendar three-two-one that one was kind of. If you probably ?, I, see ? and go to mail or clock three, two one, not that big of a difference there, whether three two one and that one was pretty iffy too. They want, like different screens, reminder three, two one that one was kind of way to again. I never opened it up on here.

So maybe that's why I was a little weird notes. Three, two one again, a little iffy there stocks three two one again another pop up news: three two one and do all these apps have to have these pop-ups at so obnoxious, App, Store, three, two one: okay, that one was a pretty obvious difference at the iPhone SE -. It's definitely the winner. That's going up through when you guys will be able to see that yeah I mean it I mean it doesn't really look like that big of a difference. If you go and hop into some random things like that, I mean they all look kind of the same.

To be honest but scrolling wise. They all look the same ? we're just pretty surprising settings three, two one! Even there. If you guys could tell even that was a little faster on the iPhone SE ?, which is perfect now hopping through, you, can kind of see like yeah I, think the iPhone SE ? is pretty much the same phone call three two one I think the SU 2 was faster. We can go ahead and load up an absolute website or some sort, a poll three two one connect to the same Wi-Fi and all that stuff and even then, as you guys saw the iPhone SE 2 was definitely faster there and swiping through you can see. You know they're about the same now.

The internet aspect is usually, you know focused more than network, but sometimes the phone speed does have a lot to do with it. ?, sometimes music. Three two one and a little strange here, not exactly 100%. You know exact, but it is what it is now well go ahead and show you guys. You know some of these third-party apps that I downloaded on both of these.

So we can kind of go through. You can do Twitter three two one and, as you guys saw the iPhone SE two was faster Facebook, three, two one that one was a little weird, so I will have to restart Facebook again, three two one, and yet the mean I, think TSE two was going to be faster anyway, dual jump, three two one and, as you guys saw a little of a different set up on both, but you know pretty much the same fruit ninja three two one I had a kind of reposition it as you guys the iPhone SE 2 was faster, followed by the iPhone 8, and if we can go and get us some gameplay I'm going to see if there's going to be any glitches going on for either one of these, and they're looking to be about the same from the first two seconds of me playing- and this is a pretty you know, non-intensive game, so I think it's totally going to be OK for both of these stack 3, 2, 1 and yeah. It's looking like the iPhone SE 2 was a little faster. Therefore, the ad to pop up it's gonna, get into some game play CDs clutch up at all and I. Don't think these are going to glitch I mean there's a pretty basic aim.

At the end of the day paper I/o, the original one, three two one I thought I clicked it at first, but I didn't and yeah the iPhone SE 2 was the faster one. Let's go into some gameplay see, there's a difference and I, don't think, there's going to be, so we're just gonna. Leave it at that snake versus blocks three two one and again iPhone SE 2 was the faster one, getting it to some gameplay again and I. Don't think we're going to you know notice that big of a difference between them take you 3, 2, 1 and again iPhone SE 2 was faster and look how big of a difference that is I mean that's a pretty big difference: Netflix 3, 2, 1, again iPhone SE 2 slightly faster Quizlet, 3, 2, 1 and again I'm sure these are apps that you know most people are going to use on everyday basis again the iPhone SE two was the winner. They're Temple Run 2: let's go ahead and load that one up 3 2 1, and this is a game that I'm sure a lot of you guys play so again, even downloading that specific content seems to be faster on the SE ? and we're loaded into it a little faster than the iPhone 8.

So this isn't like a billion dollar difference, but it is slightly better on the iPhone SE ? for sure we eventually get into it. We can do a maze 3, and we don't have it here. I guess we do I, don't know if they're the same game, Instagram, 3, 2, 1, again iPhone IC 2 is the faster one. There asphalt, 9 I think we have a year 3, 2 1, and it's looking like the sc2 was faster akin to that specific side of the game. Now I'm pretty sure I have it downloaded on both, so maybe we'll get into a faster on one.

Maybe at the other I don't know and as you can see, the sc2 was able to get into that panel faster and the iPhone 8 eventually gives us some type of thing about updating, so I think the se215 IO 2, 3, 2, 1 and again iPhone that cg was able to get into that specific panel faster. It's gonna, some gameplay, and again I think they're going to be roughly maybe the iPhone SE 2 was faster. There was kind of hard to tell for that two seconds I played on here Snapchat three, two one again faster to even get into that panel on the iPhone SE to Temple Run, the original one. Three two one now will probably be in a game on one of these probably I, don't really to sure, no I wasn't so, let's go and see which one is the fast one. I think yes, it's too is going to be yes, II to actually could stop a little which I wasn't expecting and eventually we kind of get into it.

The same on both maybe the iPhone SU 2 was faster. That one was actually astounding. I. Wasn't expecting the iPhone 8 to be a little smoother technically, especially on a game like Temple, Run and I. Think the iPhone II just closed up a little there, so they were pretty close there.

To be honest, it's going to end it off with asphalt or Real Racing 3, three two one now, hopefully this is downloaded on this app because I don't know actually I, don't really remember. The SE 2 seems to be loading faster, and it looks like the iPhone 8 is right behind it, which is perfect or awful to play on how you're working at it and the iPhone SE 2 is able to get into a faster, and I'm sure the iPhone 8 will be right behind it, as you can see. So that was a pretty big difference between both of them, and they're on the exact same game, maybe a little of a difference in terms of update but pretty much the exact same game. So now that we have all those apps in the background, let's go and start loading them up in the background in terms of the RAM management side of the things. So let's go ahead and back, lets kind of go back to something like the clock, app so or even the Photos app, because I'm pretty sure none of them are going to keep them open and they both restarted.

Okay, not really too surprising, I wasn't expecting you did for them to. You, know be open, but I want to see an app where the iPhone SE 2 was able to keep it open where the iPhone it was not, and this one kind of restarted on both. So not a big deal, just keep going back and see what happens. We can do something like the App Store. That's a good one, three two one and both of them did we start, so they were not able to keep the App Store open.

Let's keep going back, we can go and try Safari three two one and they both were able to keep Safari open. So that was the internet browser. So that's astounding. It cut the other one out, those so the app store I was really weird see if they both restarted the settings panel, three two one and they both we started the Settings panel, so it seems to be there are almost the sames I'm not really to sure. Lets kind of go around this area so that we can do like snake versus blocks, that's kind of mean I, think that's one of the first games.

We tested three two one and that's a prime example of what we're trying to see the iPhone SE 2 was able to keep that up in the background where the iPhone 8 did restart and again. That is the most important thing that we're trying to see. I wanted to be in this situation, where the iPhone SE 2 is able to keep those apps in the background where the iPhone 8 is not able to, so we're seeing some improvement there, which I'm really happy about, so we can go and keep trying some other apps. Let's go and try like stack three to one and they both did. We start the iPhone.

Se.2, though, was still able to get into the app faster which I'm really happy about, so it did. We start, but I was able to catch up. So, lets kind of see another one we can do. Thank you seem like to be a pretty decent one. I think we already passed it right here, three, two one and again they both did.

We start, so we'll go ahead and try one more and see what the differences are as see. If there's anything major, we can try temple run or even Snapchat, three, two one and that's another example. You know the iPhone SE 2 again was able to keep that up. In the background which I stated before is something we are trying to see. I want to see a consistent basis where the iPhone SE 2 is able to keep more apps in the background, and it seems to be right now that the SU 2 did it from you know pretty good job at it.

I'm not gonna, say it's perfect, 100%, but I think. Overall, it is better than nothing so for sure to kind of end all this comparison. How I did you know a speed test or an tutu benchmark on both of them at some point? I, don't know where it is on here, and the score I had on here was four hundred fifty thousand three hundred and nine and the score I had on my iPhone 8 was two hundred twelve thousand one hundred ninety-eight. So definitely I'm, not gonna, say this phone as two times as fast I'm, not trying to say the iPhone SU 2 is twice as fast or anything like that, because it's definitely not but the iPhone SE 2 does do a good job of keeping I think more apps in the background, not as many as I would hope to, but it keeps more apps in the background. But on top of that it is a faster phone.

I think almost every single test, the SE 2, was the faster one. So, in terms of this, full in-depth comparison, I can tell, you are I, definitely do think. At the end of the day, the iPhone SE 2 is the faster phone, buy it quite a bit I'm not going to say it's like the 50 times as fast or anything like that. But what I will say is that it is faster, quite which I'm really happy about. So, if you're wanting to buy an iPhone SE, 2 or whatever I would highly recommend it.

This is a tremendous phone, but he's a lot of value to the table, and it's a better phone than the iPhone 8, every single, which way you look at it so again that pretty much covers up this full in-depth comparison in terms of the speed, if you guys have any questions or anything like that, let me know in the comments section below hit the like button, though me so much, but definitely a subscribe button, every single subscriber that we can't really discount so means much to you guys get hit that also check out the other links down in the description as well.
