iPhone SE (2020) Vs iPhone 8 Plus! (Comparison) (Review)

Well everyone we're gonna, be doing it, quick, pretty much in-depth comparison between the iPhone SE 2020 and the know older brother kind of to the iPhone SE 2020 iPhone, 8 plus now, obviously I think if you have all the money in the world, you might think that you should just automatically assume to get at the iPhone SE 2020, but that might not be the best deal in the world, and I'll. Tell you honestly, there's some cool compelling reasons to pick up the iPhone 8 plus, but we'll get into those in a second before I get too deep, though I am giving away an iPhone SE 2020. If you want to answer all you have to do, is subscribed to the channel and follow me on Twitter and Instagram. All those links were linked up below, so you guys can check them out from there. But looking on the front of both phones, you can automatically see that there are some big differences between them. Obviously the iPhone SE 20/20 is much smaller and you guys can see that yeah I mean if you ever held a plus version of the phones of the iPhones.

You can tell that yeah they're they're a big device. You know they're, not a small device at all, but at the same time phones are only getting bigger, and this is kind of like a small phone now, so I think in a couple of years. This you know it's really grown on a lot of people and this isn't as big as it used to be now: half pretty small hands you guys can make fun of me. I mean I, get it all the time you guys snatch I, don't know why you guys to have shot me that all the time I never get on DMS in histogram or Twitter she's, always on Snapchat. You guys say things about my smarts and even I.

Don't have a hard time using a plus one, even though I use an 11 Pro I'm, probably going to switch over to the pro max. But this is not that big and filling them both in the hand. Obviously, if you like a smaller device and go for the SE 2020, there's no competition there, but still I. Think overall, the iPhone A+ isn't like a crazy, huge device either on the front of the iPhone 8 plus we have a 5.5 inch 1080p panel before I, even get to deep in the panel's, though I will say the pricing structure of these. You might think automatically assume that the SE 2020 is a cheaper one, but that's not even true on Amazon on Amazon is probably one of the more expensive sites to get phones from, but they're, usually in better condition.

An iPhone I see 20/20 selling for about 400. The 8 plus is selling for less than 307 the ESO, and this is kind of a cheaper phone. And honestly, you can get these for much cheaper than that. If you look on eBay or swap or any other website, so I'd probably recommend you guys to look there before you go and buy this on Amazon, but I'll link them down below. If you want to get them from there for the cheapest prices that I find, you can also help support their channel.

At the same time now with the iPhone II plus, we do have that point.5-Inch 1080p panels, IPS panel, and it's a perfect display. I think you know it has true tone on it, which is really cool and bisque. If you don't know what true tone is, it adds a little of warmth on the display, so I really do kind of side with the A+. In terms of these two panels, this one looks much better. You also have force touch on this panel as well, which is a really cool addition and I.

Think true tone. If this point didn't have true tone, that'd be one thing, but since it does, that honestly makes it that much better. In my opinion, and with the iPhone SE 2020, we have a 4.7 inch panel and the panel on this isn't bad either. You know it's more or less the exact same panel on the iPhone 8. You have, you know bright colors and everything now neither infuser neither of these OLED panels.

So you don't have those like you know, true blacks and everything, but I think it's good enough for the most part for the prices that you're paying for these phones right now. I, don't think you know that's the worth complaining about in my opinion, but I do think that between these two, the iPhone A+ is probably the better one when it comes down to it for sure, on the bottom of Lightning ports on both and on the back slightly different setups. Now my A+ does have a crack back. So excuse me, you have glass backs on both. The Apple logo is centered on the iPhone SE 20/20, but really not that big of a deal, a dual camera setup on the plus versus the single camera setup on the SI 20/20, and that can be a pretty big deal.

If you ask me, it's not going to be like a mind-boggling thing: you're not gonna, go and like to change your anything like that. I mean because, I, see something stupid, but you're not gonna. Do anything stupid, but I think, ultimately that between these two I think the A+ is probably the better built. One, and just because of that dual camera setup, obviously the glass on the back and everything is the same. But on top of that there's something about the size of the iPhone 8, plus that I like, but they're.

Probably the exact same applies in placebo effect, but on the outside ip67 dust and water resistance on both as well so the same type of certification, someone's not going to LS the other one in terms of water, certification or anything. So in terms of the outside. That really pretty much covers it up now, as you guys probably know the biggest you know, upgrading factor to getting an iPhone SE 20/20 would probably be the new chipset which indeed brings in that new software out daily life cycle. So this phone, the SE 2020, is probably going to be lasting to a plus by a long shot, at least for like two or three sessions there could be a chance where the A+ and that whole series, the a11 Bionic chip, probably gets another version of software I'm, calling it now just because of the iPhone 10, and that one is, you know, looking more to be siding with the iPhone 10s lifecycle. So there's a chance that could be getting an extra software lifecycle.

We really don't know, but as of right now, the SA 2020 is definitely going to be out lasting the A+, but here's the thing that I'm saying now like if the A+ is still won't, be lasting for quite a bit of time. So it's not like this one's going to be like unsupported tomorrow, you know it's still, going to be supportive for quite a bit of time. So I'm saying is: is that if you're getting this one, if you're getting this one, regardless they're, both going be lasting for a very long time, at least for another 2 or 3 years, probably more than that, so it just happens to be that the SE 2 was going to be lasting longer. You still have that checkering jailbreak access, only a+, which is really, really cool. So between both I will definitely probably side with the SE 2, but you do have some cool capabilities for the A+ at the end of the day.

Now that kind of covers it up there I will go ahead and do a little of a speed test, but I will tell you the SE 2 probably will be the faster one, and this is going to be a quick one. This is not going to be a full in-depth one. I will be doing a separate one of those eventually I'm, not really to sure one, but I will do it at some point. The SI 20/20 has an apple, a 13 Bionic chip, hex core CPU and three gigs of RAM, with the iPhone 8 plus. Has that Apple an 11 Bionic chip, X core CPU and three gigs of RAM as well, so let's go and see which one is the fast one between these two all right now, the Rebecca it increases the brightness, let's go and make sure all the apps or clear that need background and on the SE 2.

Of course, we don't. This always happens. Okay, I think we're cleared now. Okay, so let's go and load up apps. Let's just go into these.

Let's do Facebook three two one, and I say two definitely was the fast one between those two tools: SoundCloud three, two one and that's looking like the SE two was definitely faster on between those two as well Twitter. Three, two one and again it's looking like the SCC was the faster one, and I think it's we're seeing a repeating trend here, Snapchat three, two one again as u2 was faster, their Instagram three, two one again I. Actually that one was pretty close, Netflix three two one again I think TSE 2 was the faster one by far, and I'm. For some reason, I always have an error here. So I guess we'll just let that one slide, but that is really weird where that always happens.

Sample 1, 3 2, and you can see we were in a game here, but I still do believe. This one is faster, and I'm actually kind of curious. If we just click new game out, both let's see how much of a difference is there at all index doodads party? Well, you guys will to pay you with the towel. No there's not going to be a difference at all between the speed. You guys probably guessed that Quizlet three two one and yeah as we tune faster there I'll.

Take you three two one and se2 was faster, eventually 80-plus, but you know it is noticeably fast when the SU 2 is named, force blocks, 3, 2 1, and you can see se2 faster and eventually a + does get into a by definitely faster on the SE ? paper, IO ?, 3, 2, 1 and yep sc2 is faster. Eventually we get into it on the E Plus fruit, ninja, 3, 2 1, and you can see sc2 and eventually on the a+ as well. But definitely as he too was faster, Real, Racing, 3, 3, 2, actually temple 1, 2, 3, 2 1, and it's a looking like DSC ? is going to be faster and eight plus is definitely taking its time, and you can see I mean I, don't know if it is because of the update on this or something like that, but that one took a very long time in the eight plus I. Don't know if that's going to be like an everyday occurrence, and you saw that we had an error code so not really to sure what happened there, but it's gonna just on gameplay see if there's a difference and I really don't think there is going to be a difference, but that was still a pretty crazy difference. If you ask me between those two, and they're both going to be, you had the same there, let's go and end it off now with Real Racing, 3, 3, 2 1, and we might get into an error here.

Maybe you said download something, or I don't know this game is always being weird, and this looks pretty close. If you ask me, and actually a plus loaded that one faster, but there could be, you know whatever mate- will just give that one to the A+. Usually these phones are faster on. He has a two to be honest, but ultimately, as you guys saw, I think every single time the sc2 was faster. There were a couple of times with the A+ was faster, but I was still probably side with ESA to being a fast one.

Between those two now like I've, said before, with this camera can, with the speed comparisons, I'll be doing a separate camera comparison between these two, so people locked down, so you guys don't miss town, but I'll briefly hit on them in this video, and that crack is much worse than I thought. We have a single camera set up here on the SE to a dual camera, set up on the A+ and honestly they're all 12 megapixel sensors, but we have that additional telephoto lens on that a plus and even though the SU 2 does now bring that you know Porsche mode and everything with it. I still think that the plus probably has the better camera setup just because of that ability to have that telephoto lens. You know that's something that the SE 2 does not have. You can't get that on a software update or whatever now we can still do for Kate 60 on both phones, which is really nice, but I.

Think at the end of the day, the e plus is probably the better camera set up on the front.7 megapixel cameras on both- and you know, they're, both probably exactly the same I've tested, both of them thoroughly so far, yeah I don't really find a one being way better than the other, so I'm, they're kind of exactly the same. To be honest, so in terms of camera, I probably will end up setting with the plus now ending it off with the battery life. This is another I think plus side for the A+, maybe 1821 million better battery on the SE 2 and the 2690 one more battery on the A+ in between both like I stated before I think I'll, probably side with a plus. Just because of that bigger battery. You have you know more capability, you have more battery capacity and so far I've had better standby time in everything on the a+, and this is even older in the battery health is probably even degraded a little the SE juice butter, like isn't horrible, but it's definitely like a little below average.

I think so for sure. Between these two k, plus L definitely sided with and I kind of some video men. To be honest, if you have any plus I would recommend you keeping it. I definitely will not upgrade to an S II, ? I. Think at the SE, ? is a great phone, but going from an A+ to an S, II -.

You know you're, really only upgrading for speed, and maybe software updates, but the software updates are so Fe because you know it's not really going to matter for now. It's gonna matter in a couple of years from now, but if, if we're talking like two or three years down the line, then yeah that'll be a little different, but as of right now, both phones are going to support it for a while and I think the A+ is still. You know fast enough for a lot of people, and it's going to be a very good phone and a very good pickup. If you currently have like an iPhone, 5s or six or something, so I think the SE 2 is a great phone, but I think the A+ might be the better pickup. You know so far what I've seen.

So that's really pretty much it if you guys want to pick a video these links in the description, but that's really pretty much it. You guys have any other questions or anything. Let me know in the comment section below hit the like button on me so much, but definitely that subscribe button, every single subscriber that we get really discounts I mean so much of you guys get that also check out the other links down in the description as well.
