iPhone SE (2020) Vs iPhone 7 Plus In 2021! (Comparison) (Review)

Welcome back everyone, let's go ahead and do a little of a comparison in 2021 between the iPhone SE 2 and the iPhone 7 plus. Now this may be like a little of a random comparison, but last year this one blew up, so I figured I might as well. Do it again now the iPhone SE 2 7, plus quite a bit of a difference. They may look alike, but there are some differences for sure, and if I had this I'll tell you for sure the se2 is the better one, but there's still some cool things about the seven plus that make it a good phone too. Both of these will be linked down below, so you can get them from there. It helps up with the channel at the same time now side by side.

You can definitely see the iPhone SE.2 has the smaller panel. You have a 4.7 inch panel. Here we have a 5.5 inch panel on the iPhone 7 plus now between the displays. I think the 7 plus is cooler, because you know it's a bigger display, which I really do like. The sc2 has true tone, and I think that in and of itself is a pretty good deal about the iPhone SE 2, even though, like I said it's a smaller display, it still looks pretty good for the most part, so neither one looks crazy better than the other one to be honest, landing ports on the bottom, in terms of the thickness and thickness between the two kind of the same thing.

Here, there's not really that big of a difference and on the back you can see, we have an aluminum back on the seven plus on the se2. We have a glass back so for sure, like I mentioned before, one isn't really like the crazy better one here, but the se2 by having that glass back really does improve the overall. I guess feeling of this phone and I really do appreciate how this phone feels over the seven plus. But you do have a dual camera setup on the 7 plus with the SU 2 only has I guess that single camera, which is still pretty good for the most part, so in terms of the outsides that really pretty much covers it up for the most part. Now I think the biggest difference between these two is, according you know, is a little relevant to the chipset, but more so than that, it's actually the software updates.

So the speed and performance you guys already know how those are going to go, but the iPhone SE 2 is going to outlast the iPhone 7 plus like quite a bit of time, and this in and of itself, I think, is the biggest difference between both of these phones. If you want the longest lasting phone between these the iPhone SE 2 is a no-brainer. This device, with its a13 binding chip inside it, is going to completely outlast something like an iPhone 7 plus now is this phone going to be like the best performing phone ever it's going to be lasting forever, absolutely not, but the se2 is definitely going to last. The 7, plus this one's probably going to get iOS 15 the iPhone SE 2 is probably going to end off in like several more years, so you have a much longer time on the iPhone SE 2 than you have on the iPhone 7 plus. So keep that in mind, but that's pretty much the biggest difference between these two phones, but also the battery life, is complete opposite of what I just said.

So the seven plus has an almost three thousand million power battery the iPhone SE two's battery life is under, I think, like 1900 million powers, it's still a pretty good battery life, but again the iPhone 7 plus is definitely going to be getting you better battery life and a bigger battery size than the iPhone SE 2. So keep that in mind, but that's pretty much the biggest difference. I would say as well between these two phones on one hand, the iPhone SE 2 kills it and the battery life and the software department, but the iPhone 7 plus is going to your know, dominate it in terms of the battery life department. So take that, as you will, that's pretty much what I'm saying between these two things now, let's go ahead and do a speed comparison between both these phones. The iPhone 7 plus, has that Apple A10 fusion chip, inside it, with three gigabytes of ram with the iPhone SE 2, has that Apple A13 binding chip inside it with three gigabytes of ram.

So let's go and see which one is the faster one between both of these okay. Now that we're back, let me go and clear the apps in the background and, as you can see, the iPhone 7 plus had none, let's get into it. Let's do phone calls three two one, and definitely the se2 was the far faster one that was quite a bit of difference. Trying. Let me try to even them out, as you can see, app stores, three two one and a little of a pop-up here on the se2.

For some reason, I have no idea why that happened. The seven plus, I guess, a little behind it in a way, I'm not really to sure what to make of that one camera three two ones. I think the s2 was a little faster. There clock three two one and of course I messed it up there. So let me load that up in the background and let's go ahead and get into these third-party apps.

As always, let's do Facebook three two one and, as you can see a little of a pop-up here, I guess, but maybe the iPhone and c2 was still going to win twitter. Three two one se2 was faster, seven plus a little behind. Let's do snake versus blocks three two one and iPhone se2 way faster. The seven pluses was quite a bit of behind in that specific case, get into some gameplay. Let's see what's going on here, you can pretty much see what's going on there, I'm pretty sure the iPhone SE 2 is the faster one: let's go and do Quizlet, 321 and iPhone SE 2 again is the faster one hopping out of this one.

Let's do temple run two three two one and a little of a pop-up on the iPhone se2. So we'll give this a little of time. You know benefit of the doubt and even with that, pop-up, it's still going to be faster than the iPhone 7 plus and, as I mentioned before, this is some really crazy stuff. Seeing that type of capability is always extremely awesome to see and there's like no competition, the iPhone SE 2 was by far the better one. In that specific case, we could do a simple app like.

Thank you three, two one- and this was not that simple I was looking at your know, Snapchat, as I said that I have to keep adjusting these phones because it keeps falling down. You can see again that c2 is way faster, iPhone, 7, plus quite a bit behind getting into the same gameplay. Yet again, I guess we'll see what happens, but I'm pretty sure the iPhone SU 2 is going to be the fastest one. In that specific case, let's go and end it off with stack three two one and there we go again I mean sc2 was the faster one, iPhone 7 plus a bit behind, so I mean I'll, definitely tell you the smoothest factor, I think you know the iPhone SE 2 was smoother and faster, but the 7 plus, as I mentioned before, is still plenty of fast of a phone for a majority of people out there, and I really do think, as I mentioned before, I'm pretty sure if you have an iPhone 7 plus it's still going to be probably good enough. But, as I mentioned, the software is the number one thing where you may feel like this phone is going to be outdated sooner than later.

So take that as you will, but that's really pretty much it that's going to hit on the cameras now I was going to hit on these cameras quite a bit, but there's really no point. I might still do it. You know this video is not going to be as long as I thought, dual camera setup on the iPhone, 7 plus wide and telephoto lenses, the iPhone SC 2 has a single, wide angle lens, and one thing I've always appreciated about the iPhone 7 plus was that it was the first camera from the iPhone from apple to have that dual camera set up, and I really appreciated that I loved having that type of capability and definitely the photos really aren't that bad. You can kind of see here too. These photos are actually pretty good and the lighting and everything is pretty close.

I mean I'll, be honest. It's a pretty good sensor. I never really had too many complaints about it. Really anything I've ever done with it was perfectly fine for the most part, I used this phone as a daily phone too, and I had a perfect time with it. The iPhone SE 2.

On the other hand, you know you're getting pretty much the same capability on both phones, you're, just not getting that extra lens on here, which is kind of a downside in my opinion, but you are getting 4k 60 on this phone with the iPhone 7 plus, you are not getting 4k at 6 you're only getting 4k at 30. , so take that as you will but like I mentioned, you're always going to be getting better colors on the iPhone SE 2- and this is a very basic you know comparison, but you can see warmer colors with these 7 plus, maybe cooler colors to some of you. So I definitely do think. The seven plus this camera is still good enough, but the iPhone SC 2 has a better camera at the end of the day. So to kind of sum up this video and to answer the question: should you go ahead and buy an iPhone SC 2, or should you buy an iPhone 7 plus in 2021? Well, as I mentioned before, and I'll continue saying this: if you have the money getting an iPhone, SE 2 is almost like a no-brainer to me.

It's a phone, that's going to be lasting for quite a bit of time. Has a lot of character has a lot of capability, and, like I mentioned it, is almost a no-brainer, but I will say if you currently own an iPhone 7 plus, maybe you could just keep it. You know, there's not really a ginormous difference between these two. If you're, okay with the seven plus, then keep it there isn't it. You know humongous reason to upgrade right now, but sooner than later, like I mentioned before, there's going to be a time when the 7 plus is going to be outdated.

It's not going to be getting any more software updates, so you're going to be better off getting an iPhone 7 plus at that point than an iPhone SE.2. Is the sc2 a perfect phone, absolutely not, but between these two, this one, I think, is the one I would rather have some gripes. I don't really like the battery life too much. That was one of the biggest problems with this phone and the software updates and everything have been coming out, and it's been a good experience, but the 7 plus, in my opinion, does kill it when it comes down to the battery life. It's not like a good phone, but between these two it's definitely better than this one, but I do think you're getting an overall, better experience on the iPhone SE 2, but the 7 plus is still a pretty good phone for the most part, and I think when it comes down to it, that's pretty much how it kind of sum up this whole entire video, if you guys have any other questions or anything like that, let me know in the comment section below hit the like button down below, but definitely hit that subscribe button, every single subscriber that we get really discount.
