iPhone SE (2020) Review!

While everyone the day, has finally come. I thought I was gonna, give it like another week, but I think I have pretty much all my opinions at only iPhone SE 2 now, and not only have I been using his phone extensively, but I've been comparing it to a bunch of my different phones, I've compared it to the s 20s. The 10s is that eights, the iPhone 7s, the iPhone 6s, is a ton of different phones between the Samsung Galaxy, S 10 and pixel 3 and I. Think I've come down to a conclusion of what I think the iPhone SE 2 is, and you know who should buy it, who shouldn't buy it and some other perfect alternatives to this specific phone. Now this is all my opinion. I'm not saying my opinion is right, but it's kind of like what I've been seeing so far.

You know, and I think this is pretty much going to be a four of you. It's been a while I think since I've done a full review of a brand-new phone I think the last ones were like I. Don't even think I've done, one for the s20, but with the iPhone SE ? there's a lot of good for it and I. Think. Overall, this phone is a very, very compelling push in ?, I.

Think the budget standpoint you know before this Apple's cheapest phone they sold that wasn't the iPhone, 8 or 8 plus was the iPhone 10 are and that's $5.99 phone right now, and I think there was a big gap. You know, even before the iPhone 8, an A+ dropped out that there was just something there. That really kind of you know that those iPhone eights, you know they were kind of out data for sure, and even though the iPhone SE 2 was kind of recycling that same body, it's still good to have some time if we don't newer processors, newer, chipsets, newer, camera, even kind of that, allow more capability and I think with the sa-2 I, but we really nailed it out of the park and I can't fault Apple for making a phone like this. You know I mean like there's, really nothing bad, it's not only they're forcing people to buy it. However, I do think it was kind of weird to take out the iPhone 8 plus immediately, because I think that that phone still has a lot of value to, and there are rumors of an iPhone SE plus coming out, but it still would have been really cool.

Had there been you know when iPhone 8, plus still in their line, it may be a little cheaper, but at the end of the day it is what it is now with the iPhone SE ? one of the biggest complaints, in my opinion, so far, so like every single time, I've compared this one to any other phone. I always talk about that screen, and it's something that you know we're just kind of so used to from Apple for them recycling, parts, and again I don't want to hate on it. They have to hit 400 dollar price tag, so they have to cut corners here and there. But my thing is: is that if you look at the phones, like the Samsung Galaxy, a series of devices- and these are the perfect phones to compare these to those- are budget phones from Samsung, and I've reviewed all those a series- phones for the most part of the majority of them and I just bought the 51 like the other day and that phone? When you look at it, it's like who that phone looks just like a Samsung Galaxy s.20 and Samsung really knocked out of the park with that phone, but why you know I can't Apple with way more money they have in a way different. You know the capabilities that they have.

Why do they have to keep signing the same thing? You know what I mean it's like: they can change the design. You know, maybe you know, costs a little more money here and there, but I, don't think I mean I, think it would have been worth it, maybe to change the design up a little. Maybe you know make a cheaper version of the iPhone 10 or something like that: I'm, not to sure what they could do, but do something in it where it changes the layout or change the design or something like that I'm not really to sure. Again they did change the Apple logo a little, but, like other than that's almost exactly the same, the screen is the one thing you know it's. The screen is just one of those things that I've seen: there's not a lot of them, but I feel like they could have done something and for them tin, for the main excuse, I've seen people saying is: if they changed it, you know they would have had to make the phone way more expensive, and do this in that, and we're already at that.

Four hundred dollar price tag like four hundred dollars, definitely isn't like a crazy amount of money, but it's also not like one dollar or two dollars and like that you know, that's a $400. Still a lot of money to you know, I mean, so I feel like they could have done more with a design, but other than that I mean that's really the main thing on the outside yeah that 4.7 inch display, which is really nice lightning part on the bottom and on the back glass back. You have wireless charging, which is really cool and then that single camera setup and that's a whole other topic to man I'll just hit on the camera right now you had that 12 megapixel sensor. You can do 4k at 60 frames, which is good, and I like that. But the main problem I have with the camera is that it is single sensor.

You know it's only there's no telephoto, there's! No! You know ultra-wide and even now in 2020, you know, like I've, said, if you could even compare to like the galaxy a series of devices again, which is probably one of its biggest competitors. Well, those cameras have multiple camera setups within them, which is crazy, and you look at the Pixel 3a from last year. That also had a single camera setup and I also said the same exact thing at that time, when I did that review, so it's not just like it's Apple I love, Android, I love Google, so they did a single camera setup to boat. Now, with the pixel for an apparently it's going to bring a dual camera setup, I'm, not really to sure, but either or the camera quality is still very good. So don't get me wrong, you can do 4k 60, which is really nice.

You have port remote on that thing, which is perfect, and I love, seeing that so the camera quality and the pictures you're going to take on this thing are still going to be great. You know, I was taking a lot of photos outdoors for my camera comparisons and everything and I can tell you. The camera on the se2 is great and I. Don't know if it's like world's better than like something like an iPhone aid or like an iPhone 10 or something, but the quality is still great, and I have to give it the benefit of the doubt there. You know it's a good-looking camera at the end of the day for sure so the iPhone SE 2 I, think gives a thumbs-up in my books for the camera quality, but again I would have loved it if it had like an extra camera sensor or something like that now in terms of software updates and everything I mean this phone is going to be lasting for a very long time there.

So there's nothing to hate about it and I think the main selling point of this phone, in my opinion and I, wonder how many times I've said main selling point, but one of its biggest factors is the software updates and the speed I think those two things are the biggest selling points of this phone, because this phone will last you a very long time when it comes down to software life cycle, but also the speed and performance is top-tier and I. Think Tim Cook said yesterday, or today I read on like the Android Subreddit. Basically the iPhone SE 2 isn't meant for Android users to switch over to the iPhone and iOS life cycle. You know I was whatever it's called ecosystem. I forgot the word so apples trying to switch over Android user, so the SU 2 is not necessarily I guess for iOS or our current iPhone users.

It's for Android users to switch over and I. Think that's a very noble cause, I think that's really cool. When you consider everything you know, I definitely do think. Those two selling points are some of the things that manufacturers and the Android people who use those phones. They just don't like when manufacturers can't get right.

The software updates, so people switching over from Anderton Iowa's. They will like the software life cycle. This thing which is going to be beautiful and with that chipset inside if it's one of the fastest phones ever like I, said I compared it to a bunch of my different phones, and it's definitely I think you know not as fast, maybe as like an 11, Pro or 11 Pro max or I. Think the RAM management side is still kind of off for some reason: Apple with these 11 Series and I. Guess now, with the SE 2 series, the RAM management isn't as great.

It should have been. It has more RAM, but sometimes even my like a plus, was able to keep more apps open in the background than my 11pro, which is weird so the SE to still kind of fall short of that. Hopefully, I will fix that. But I think the performance of this phone is beautiful. It's top-notch.

All the speech tests that I've done with it everything I threw at it has been perfectly fine, so I definitely do think this phone in terms of performance and everything if you're getting it for that you're going to be perfectly fine for I, don't think you're going to pick up this phony bag- oh my god, it's so slow! So definitely not that. But again it looks can be deceiving and the way this phone looks it looks like an outdated. You know order a type of cheap phone, but it's not necessarily 100% the case, because it's a very compelling phone. It's a very you know it competes with a bunch of different phones and the top demographic. It's just crazy that a phone like this looks the way it is, but is it way faster than you would think, so that covers up probably the two of the main like highlights of this phone, two of the things that I really like about it, but then I have to end it off with something that I really don't like about this phone, and that would be the battery life, and it has a 1821 Myra battery was the exact same size as the iPhone 8, and you know, I've said this before, and I'll say it again.

I just don't know like I understand Apple. You know they have to don't cut corners here and there to make the phone $400, but I'm curious to see how Samsung is able to make those a series, 2 devices and even Google. You know with that Pixel 3a they definitely cut corners in a lot of different places, but they were able to. Furthermore, you know put a substantially large battery in it and out of all those budget, phones with the A's series and that pixel 3/8 and all those the iPhone SE 2 has I think the worst battery life out at all those. Now the battery life isn't horrible, it's not like if you use it for one hour, it's going to die it's nothing like that, but it is something you know it's kind of weird when you consider that this phone isn't necessarily like a cheap like $20.00 phone or a hundred other phone. You know they think they could have put a bigger battery in there.

Maybe they could have changed some things here around. You know you look at phones like 10 are the eleven and those phones have a really great battery life and I. Think I stated before you know by tenor, ever if they're really trying to switch over people from the Android life cycle over to iOS I think the battery life is one of those things that Android is starting to get right. They're putting you know like Samsung and LG, and all these people OnePlus they're, putting pretty they. Could batteries inside their phones? You know what I mean and when you're coming from a phone like that now I don't think anybody's going from an S 20 to this phone.

If people are coming for even from our last gen Android like a galaxy s, 10 or one plus, seven, or something like that, those phones have pretty good battery life for the most part and if they're switching over to something like this, the battery life is one of those things that I will tell you will probably not be. You know you, you won't be excited for it. It'll be very, very average I think so to kind of some of this video. It feels like I'm kind of like kind of hating on it, and it's definitely not the case. I understand where this phone is coming from, and everything, and I'm, just not the demographic for this phone and I think that's the best way you can put it I'm, just not the person there signing this phone for it.

They are selling this phone to people in that price range of people in that budget. So, for me to say here and say: this is a bad phone. It's completely not a bad phone for the price per dollar standpoint and for what you're getting I think it's a tremendous phone in my opinion, I think, there's a lot of good with this and there's really not too many crazy phones in the market that are offered at this value, but really the main ones that I can think of either Pixel 3a and the galaxy 851 and a series of devices other than that. This phone is a tremendous phone in my opinion, but Adam those three, the a51 3a and the SE 2 I- think the SE 2 is probably in third place than the 3a and then the 851 at number one so, and I've already compared this phone to those. It's not like I'm, just saying that for no reason like I've made videos already of those.

So, however, with $400, you can still do a lot in the use market, and this is what I always come back to. Phones, like the iPhone 10s 10 10, are those phones are still being sold in the news market even on Amazon, and you can pick those up for around the same price as this thing and I would 100% recommend picking those up over this one, so it is what it is, but I would probably recommend picking those up over this. One like I, stated, so I'll leave those link down below. If you want to pick him up from Amazon for the cheapest prices that I find you can help support the channel at the same time. But those are my opinions on the SC ? again I like this phone I, think it's really cool, but it's just not for me.
