But in all honesty the iPhone 7 is actually a bit faster as the animations are longer, but loading the actual apps you actually load a little faster on the iPhone 7 and also the pixel 2, has the advantage of having gesture navigation, which makes it a lot easier to go back to the home screen.

While the iPhone 7 has a home button which is kind of hard to press, and it's a lot easier to just swipe up on the pixel 2 anyways. The final conclusion is, if you're looking to buy either of these phones, they are both still perfect in 2020 and in the end of the day, it all comes down to software preference.
