iPhone 7 Plus vs iPhone 11 on iOS 13 Speedtest! (is it worth the upgrade?) By Ians Tech

You, hey there guys welcome to another video. So in this video I will be doing another speed test. I know you guys must be tired of these speed tests, but I figured. Why not I'll do it and see if it helps anybody out there with their phone purchasing decisions? So today, I have the iPhone 7 plus here, and this one is a black one.128 gigs is running. I was thirteen point. Zero and I have an iPhone 11 that I just purchased, and this one is also running iOS, 13.0, and I know. This is gonna, bother everybody with all these fingerprints, but these things are fingerprint magnets.

So let's go ahead and get into it. Let's go ahead and boot these up now. This will be a good test to see if, if you currently have a seven plus or maybe an eight plus the seven and eight are very similar as far as a performance, but though they look pretty similar. The eight plus and eight have where I was charging have a little faster processors, a little better camera. That kind of thing and the eleven is a couple generations ahead so just want to see if you're currently still rocking the seven plus.

Is it worth upgrading to the eleven all right. So let's go ahead and do a boot up test here now some things you gain when you get the newer phone, is you obviously get that wireless charging you could face ID you get much better cameras, you get that ultra-wide camera on the 11 in the 11, Pro and I always find it hilarious when the older phone still boots faster than the new one, but I think that's just optimization. So there you go. The seven plus started up faster, which hey you know nothing, nothing against it. So, let's make sure we got all the apps closed out in here.

All right make sure they're closed here all right, so we got apps closed here and apps closed there, and these are both running iOS.13 point oh, and I will show you that in here all right, it's so about all right, so you got 13 point Oh, iPhone, 11, iPhone, 7, plus here all right. So, let's give him get into it all right, three, two one for FaceTime all right calendar. Three, two one photos, three, two one all right, we'll just pick a photo here. Do her share sheet, not your bad messages, all right, not too shabby not too shabby all right. Let's try.

The news all right definitely, definitely fast on the 11, which it should be airdropped and let's send one here and all right cool all right. Let's do our camera test here. Three two one iPhone 11 is faster, which it should be now with that iPhone 11 camber. You also gain, so you get in that ultra-wide camera. You also gain night mode, which is really, really nice, and you should definitely try it.

So if you're near an Apple Store, go look at the new phones, check them out and check out that new camera, because that was obviously one of the biggest focuses this year was getting those cameras better. So very, very good. Cameras on these new phones, alright, male three, two one, all right clock, three, two one all right, Maps, three, two one all right, and we are going to do our San Francisco test because that's where they have the new feature, all right flyover is pretty graphically intensive kind of. So let's do that first and the eleven of the eleven definite you can tell it's. It is just monster power all right.

So three, two one! You can also see the lack of detail on the seven plus and there's a lot of detail on the eleven it's either, because it's not loading all the graphics. You can see the bridge isn't even loaded properly on the seven plus, and it keeps losing all right there. We go a little better loaded up here now, I have done a couple other speed tests. So what just surprises me is that the seven-plus hasn't retained any of that data, because I would think that it would, but it didn't so, and the 11-ish is very fluid, and it gains all the graphics right away here. Alright, all right, let's go pause, our tour here, alright and let's go into the let's go back to San Fran.

So we look around test. Okay, let's see where we going to go here, and it is very, very smooth and just because I'm curious, that's how that's how Apple blurs their people out. So they give them the nice sensor, and then you can see that they sensor out the license plates and everything as they should. I mean they're supposed to do that. Ok, let's try out our weather app three, two one, all right good! There all right reminders: three, two one: okay, very, very close on a lot of these, but these sobs have been optimized for the phones.

Let's see how this handles it just get your take on what this means for the primary. Oh, you have to love the news. He was already loaded here first and that's why I kind of got ahead there, all right, iTunes, three, two one a little faster here and let's go to our movies too, and let's find a movie that see you talk, kids and family. Let's do the pet talk like secret life of pets, ?, okay, three two one well I did get them both, but they are glitching for some reason, which is fascinating. That looks like an iTunes problem. Yeah, that looks like an iTunes problem.

Let's try a different movie here, Pok?mon detective about that they loaded pretty quickly. Alright and another thing with the 11 days. You'll have they do have some better sound on these I think they have something called spatial audio, so it should be more like stereo speakers on the iPhone 7 plus. You do have that one speaker at the bottom, and then it uses the earpiece as a speaker as well, so they both should sound pretty good. Alright, let's go to our podcasts app three two one already and Apple TV 3 2 1, all right and let's go to our health app 3G one, so I thought I pressed it, but I didn't alright help 3, 2, 1, okay, I, don't see in their home 3 2 1 I'm, not too bad.

Well at 3, 2, 1, Oh, 3, 2, 1. Okay, let's go to our Safari browser three two one, all right, Apple website, Mesas three, two one, all right: let's, let's try another websites for ya: let's see I'm sorry, SP n-no! Are you gonna? Yes PN. It was interesting holiday. Both it seemed like the 11 was gonna start faster, but the seven plus cough sounds pretty interesting. All right, so they're very close on the internet.

Also, music, three two ones! All right library, for you Browns all right when we got hater file, it's three to one: don't find mine shortcuts all right and contacts watch already, and it's our control center here all right and our shutdown tests. Last but not least, I'm so used to turning these off the same way, and it's honestly kind of hard to tell which, which one is shut off. They used to kind of have a dull spinning wheel that you could kind of tell which one turned off faster, but anyway, so this has been a little speed test between the iPhone 7 plus the iPhone 11 and, if you're looking to upgrade, hopefully that kind of gives you an idea of how they perform the iPhone 7 plus still performs really well, even though it's a three years old now, I think it does pretty good for its age and the iPhone 11 is fast as it should be, and I believe that it will be even further. Their performance will even be further bettered by future software updates, because we know the 13 was kinda rushed out anyway. Thank you guys so much for watching.
