iPhone 12 vs Note20 (Which phone should you buy?)

Hey guys, what's going on Kevin the tech ninja here and a question, I've seen popping up a lot online is: should I go with the Galaxy Note 20 ultra, or should I wait for the iPhone 12. And these type of questions are pretty tricky. So, instead of answering this question hundreds of times, I figured I'd, make a quick video based on how I feel about the topic. I think the first thing we need to talk about is how I feel about the note 20 ultra, as my review is not out, yet it will be out in a few more weeks. So the note 20 ultra is just a fantastic phone. It checks all the boxes of what makes a phone good, and it even adds a few more boxes that other phones don't have.

The phone feels more like a portable computer than a phone. It has decks, so you can plug it into your computer and use it like an actual computer as far as camera. It's perfect. Furthermore, it mostly shines outside with the inclusion of the zoom lenses, and I do think the video is one of the best I've used on any type of phone period. Furthermore, it's running android, but it's Samsung's, one UI on top and each version of one UI gets better.

Samsung also promises three generations of updates too so thinking that Samsung will be out of date, and that is a selling point for you that the iPhone is always in date and Samsung is always out of date. That's not the case.100 of the time anymore, and I will say, Samsung actually makes android better with all their inclusions of apps and different tweaks and things the way it's laid out. I do like it better than just stock android. Now I have used this phone for about three weeks now, and I will say, battery life to me is still pretty good when turning off 5g, it's actually better. So I think maybe 5g is causing some significant battery drain.

But of course more testing is needed. The s pen is not something I'm going to use often, but it does come in handy every once in a while. Let's say I need to mark up a screenshot, so instead of using my fat finger, I can use an s pen, there's a lot of good to say about the note 20 ultra, but one of the things that actually makes it a little hard to recommend 100 is that it starts off at 1300, which is most likely going to be at least 100 more than the iPhone pro max. So I guess back to the original question: should you wait for the iPhone 12 or is the note 20 ultra the best phone available today, and should you get that it is rumored that the iPhone 12 is going to go back to the iPhone 5 build with a squared off design with metal trimmings? To me, the 5 build quality was my favorite just a little tank, and it felt solid. There also should be four different iPhones this year at three different screens sizes, 5.4, 6.1 and 6.7. The screens will also be OLED and 5g connectivity.

There are conflicting reports as far as the display refresh rate some are saying, 60, and we're also seeing 120. A recent credible link is saying: 120 hertz, so I'm going to go off that and if that's the case, the iPhone screen plus a high refresh rate, it's going to put it up there as one of the best screens available, and this is going to be different because usually the iPhone is a little behind when it comes to hardware, they're slower to get NFC. This is the first year with 5g and also now a higher refresh rate. Of course, iPhone's camera is always pretty good, but now they have LIDAR technology, which is light radar, and I'm not sure what that's going to look like or what that's going to be, but they are stacking. This phone up with some pretty impressive hardware.

So, of course, performance is going to be great you're, going to see an upgraded, a14, bionic processor, I'm not sure if it's going to be USB or not, it still points to lightning port, which is kind of a bummer. But I would say for me: it boils down to this. Does price matter to you, you can get an iPhone 12 for 6.49, it's not going to be the pro, and it won't have the largest screen, and you may need to add an extra 50 bucks for additional storage. But another question you should answer is: do you need a pro? What is the pro going to have that your current phone doesn't have because you can get in an iPhone for half the price of the note 20 ultra now, of course, there's the regular note 20 for a thousand dollars and at that price point I don't recommend it. It's made out of plastic, and it has a lot of other hardware, modifications that make the phone seem like it's not worth it at all, and are you currently an iPhone user? Are you in that ecosystem? Or are you open to try other ecosystems if you're in the Apple ecosystem, it is really hard to get out of it versus if you're, in the android ecosystem, all those apps are available on iOS as well? I guess what it boils down to is no perfect answer.

It just depends on who you are as a person and what's important to you. If price has no object, you want the best available phone today. The note 20 ultra is going to be a great choice, and you're going to love that phone for years to come, but if you're waiting, and you're watching you'll be really impressed with the iPhone 12. , I really think apple is going to your know with the new hardware and also the new build quality really going to impress a lot of people. As always, we will find out in September, and I could be completely wrong, or I could be completely right.

Who knows anyways guys. Those were my thoughts. I want to hear what yours are: leave them down below Kevin. The tech ninja have a great day I'll, see you guys later.
