Also, if you guys, are looking for a discounted iPhone, make sure you guys check out the link in the description section that we have provided for you guys for some of the cheaper phones that you can find iPhones that are going for. Some perfect deals. Let's go ahead and get started with the video of course. The first thing we're going to do is power on these two devices to see which one powers on the fastest just to do a quick boot test for speed. This will kind of set a precedent in terms of just the overall hardware.

So you can see both of them picked up the apple, really pretty quick. Of course, you know you have the black versus all white, so that's one big difference right now, we're noticing, but we'll see that the iPhone 12 Pro did win the boot test and then couple seconds later, the iPhone 7 plus did come online for us. So that's one thing: we'll kind of notice. The other thing you'll notice is the display size here, although, as you can see, if we take a look at the body size of the iPhones here, of course, the iPhone 7 plus has a bigger body compared to the iPhone 12 Pro, but in terms of display size. Actually, you have a lot more areas for display because of the notch is not being evident on the iPhone 12 Pro.

You have a 6.1 display area compared to the 5.5 that's available on the iPhone 7 plus. Let's talk a little about the overall design of these two phones, the external condition of it. First thing: you notice is the color here, so there's a couple options for color when it comes to color. Of course, the iPhone 12 Pro come to your base: gold, space, gray, silver and the on the new color is the specific blue for the very first time. So you have three of the base and the pacific blue one for the very first time and the iPhone 7 plus, of course, come to your standard black silver gold and rose gold, which we have right here.

So gold versus road coal see if you can see the difference. Of course, the iPhone 12 Pro color is the lighter shade of the gold we have seen in the most recent version of the gold itself. If we also take a look at some things on the back here is you'll notice, the Apple logo being in the center on the iPhone 12 Pro versus a little upper, which seems to be the standard up till the iPhone on 12 pro that we see here also you'll notice, the letter encoding of the word iPhone and some of this data here, that's not printed on the iPhone 12 Pro, not sure why Apple has gone with that and, of course, the one more thing. You'll notice that really stands out are the cameras on the iPhone 12 Pro. Of course, you got the triple glen camera versus the dual on the iPhone 7 plus so three versus two cameras and then the other noticeable feature.

Is this whole LI, Dr scanner? That's available not available on the iPhone 7 plus, which allows you to take night mode photography pictures, although both phones have photography option. This will allow you on the 12 pro to take portrait mode in the light in the night mode, along with just the better autofocus and much more that comes with this new or technology. Let's also take a look at the bezels itself here. As you can see, the bezel differences between these bezels are that you have the rounded versus the more edge look to the iPhone 12 Pro, which honestly is surprising, because apple used to have this design on the iPhone 5 and the 5s, and then starting with the 6 model. They decided to go more rounded, so not sure why that was the case made the phone.

If you can look at it, the iPhone 12 Pro is a little. Thicker in terms of the thickness of it compared to the iPhone 7 plus also along the side, you'll notice that, on the iPhone 12 Pro you have this whole new 5g capability not available on the 7 plus. That's why they had to put this MLM wave antenna to enable 5g and, along with that, they have to go ahead and remove the sim card from the right hand, side, tray and move it to the left hand for the 12 pro. That's one of the other things, you'll notice. Also, another thing you notice around these two phones is that just the overall weight between the phone is that on the iPhone 12 Pro it's a little lighter than the iPhone 7 plus.

Of course, it's not a one-to-one comparison. If you really think about it, because the iPhone 12 Pro does have the max edition. But this is the regular edition of the 12 pro the iPhone 12 Pro max might be the comparison, as you know, apple removed the term plus to max for the bigger size or starting with the iPhone 10 s, which is a little surprising in terms of apple. Always looking to change up how they're looking to call each of their device, so let's see to really examine a little further and talk a little about the whole experience with your chipset on these phones. So the iPhone 12 Pro has a chip known as a14 versus the iPhone 7 plus, which has the 10 chip.

So you have a four generation upgrade, which is the case, because if you really think about it, you know it's been almost four years since the iPhone 7 plus has been released compared to the newer iPhone 12 Pro. Of course, you're going to have that upgraded chip. The other thing, of course, very evident here. You have your touch ID versus your face I'd upgrade. What that means is, if you go into the settings here, you're gonna notice, with the newer phone, starting with the iPhone 10, of course, is your face ID, which means it allows you to authenticate your phone and unlock it using your face versus the iPhone 7 plus, which of course, would be your fingerprint.

So you would add your fingerprint to unlock it. Of course, pass code is available on both devices. Let's talk a little about the battery life as well. What we're at here, if we take a look at the battery life comparison between it, has there been an improvement on battery life between these devices? Of course, there has been on the iPhone 12 Pro. What kind of improvement you might ask on the iPhone 12 Pro you have 17 hours of video playback compared to the iPhone 7 plus, which has 14 hours of video playback.

Will that really make a difference for someone well to tell you um, depending on what you use these phones for? You might not really notice big difference between the actual playback of the video, because it's only three hours they pretty much hold the same capacity. You would think apple could get away with a larger, bigger capacity, but that is, of course not the case with the newer iPhone 12 Pro, so it we kind of want to take a look at some other things, such as water resistivity of these phones. So the big difference between is both phones are water resistant. It's six meter for the iPhone 12 Pro compared to the five-meter on the iPhone 7 plus for 30 minutes. So are you gonna notice, big difference on in terms of water, resistivity, not really sure, depending on I guess, wherever you drop it? If you drop it in the ocean, of course, you're going to lose your phone and, of course, water resistivity is gonna, be gone compared to if we drop it only a few feet.

Well, you have more of a chance that your iPhone 12 Pro it's going to outlast your iPhone 7 in that specific drop test. Let's talk a little about storage of these devices, which seems to be another topic that not discussed so what happens with the iPhone 12 Pro is that apple has decided to release the base model with about 128 gigs, compared to the iPhone 7 base model, which has about 32 gigs of storage, so right off the bat you'll notice. It's almost you have four times the storage capacity on the base model. So if there's something looking to add, of course, the price tag is the reason why you know you have a thousand dollar phone versus. Maybe you know right now, you probably can get the iPhone 7 plus for around 2 300, so almost fraction of the cost me 1, 4 or less of the cost, and hence why you're paying for the upgraded features.

And if we talk about the display itself, you're going to notice sort of this, you know super retina display Dr display on the iPhone 12 Pro versus just a retina HD display pretty evident in terms of its quality. You can see right off the bat in terms of in this lighting you're going to have that whole feature of just upgraded display quality which really you're able to see on the more features of some of the other features that we haven't seen and this other picture and picture which is going to be available on both of this is that on the iPhone 12 Pro you have this whole picture and picture capability, which is also available, of course, on the thing, because it's iOS 14 upgrade which is capable on both of these devices. So that's not something you'll truly miss between these two phones. So if we take a look at some other apps, of course, VR is another improvement that has been drastically improved on the iPhone 12 Pro compared to the 7 plus, which really doesn't have that support ability, which, unfortunately, is the case for us here, and you'll notice. Just the overall experience of the iPhone 12 Pro just in every area is just beating the iPhone 7 plus.

So, if you're looking, if you have the money, of course, is it worth upgrading most likely? It's worth. Upgrading to the iPhone 12 Pro, just because of better specs overall, of course, if you're not looking to spend that much money, the iPhone 7 plus, it's still not a bad option to still be around for another, maybe two years or so. Of course, if you get the iPhone 12 Pro, it's probably going to be around for another four or five years, depending on all around how long apple is going to support the update. That's the most key important feature of these phones is: how long is apple going to be supporting both of these devices phenomenal devices overall or just a general use of these phones? If you're looking to use it for just basic calling, you know you're not going to be caring about the speed, but if we do a quick test in some of this stuff, you see both phones, although they have you know different set of hardware, it really isn't huge of a difference between just the overall difference between this phone you're going to get that whole experience on either phone not going to be mind-bendingly different between these devices. As you can see here, as I open up much of these apps on the 12 pro, it is pretty smooth, but with the cost of almost a grand, it's going to be something that you might want to consider whenever you're looking to buy the iPhone 12 Pro, definitely an upgrade.

Definitely if you have the money upgrade to the 12 pro, but the iPhone 7 plus still uh, affordable budget friendly device. That's going to be irrelevant, at least for two to three more years as well. So hopefully, this review was helpful. If you guys are looking to upgrade or deciding to know what the main difference is between these phones. Hopefully you guys really enjoyed this video if you enjoyed this video hit that like button, of course, if that subscribe, but also leave in the comment section if you're looking to upgrade and why you know upgrade, is really upgrade from the iPhone 7 plus to the iPhone 12 Pro thanks for watching guys, see you guys next time.
