iPhone 12 Pro Max Vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Vs Mi 10 Ultra Camera Comparison

Hi everyone Chris here welcome to a camera comparison, so it is the iPhone 12 Pro max against the Samsung Galaxy z, fold, 2 and then the 10 ultra so front facing cameras right now are not their maximum setting, because it's only 30 frames per second 1080p on the mi 10 patron. I have to match that 30 frames per second to the iPhone 12 Pro max and the z-fold 2. , so they're in 4k. That's their maximum resolution. They can shoot at 4k. So clearly here you can see a huge difference and what has been captured, especially when you take a look at this.

What looks like a thunderstorm? That's actually forming kind of racing against time here, because the weather is quite bad. We've got a lot of cloud storms and things coming. So definitely not the meteorology here in terms of stability, which one do you think is the most stable. Now I'm going to jog ahead, and can see the iPhone 12 Pro is shaking around maybe a little more than the others. But it's really hard to tell here, but very good quality on the zed fold 2 and the iPhone 12 Pro max.

Now, let's have a look at the rear cameras. I'm going to be swapping the audio sources. Low light footage, stills, ultrawide, ultrawide video. It is all going to be compared in this camera comparison to find out which one is best at what 4k 60 frames per. Second on all three of them.

The focus I've noticed here seems to be the best. Definitely on the iPhone 12 Pro max or the galaxy fold.2, with its dual pixel face, detection, autofocus the Xiaomi mi 10, ultra, you can see, is struggling a little there, so probably a bit of wind noise coming through I'm swapping over the audio sources. So if I hold still now which one is the steadiest, they both have sorry all three of them very good optical and electronic image. Stabilization and the sensor shift tech that is in the 12 pro max. So I'm going to run ahead now, which one is the steadiest when you are running or jogging, and I can see a bit of that storm overhead now.

All the phones here can swap over to the other cameras. In fact, no sorry, the 10 ultra cannot swap over to the ultra-wide or the zoom camera on the go once recording, but you can do it with the iPhone and the Samsung fold, two ultra-wide video on all three of them. This is 30 frames per second, so I noticed that, with the ultra-wide cameras that sometimes when you pan around you do get a bit of butter coming through, and the ultra-wide on the Xiaomi to me is actually looking the worst here with a little more of that stuttering and the butter and jog along, and they do have good electronic image stabilization, all three of them right here so again in the comments which one do you think has the best ultra-wide 4k 30 footage 4k 30, now on all three of these cameras here. So when I pan around really slow are we going to see some of that noticeable panning butter? Unfortunately, there is a bit of wind here, so we're probably going to pick up a wind noise, but we can also listen to which one gets affected, which microphones by the wind noise the most now on the 12 pro max and the z fold, two we can swap over the cameras on the go, but we cannot with the Xiaomi. So, unfortunately, that's why I cannot show you can swap over the ultra-wide to the optical zoom cameras, but we can on the Xiaomi now running ahead, which one do you think is the smoothness here in terms of image stability to me, it looks like it is.

Actually the me10 ultra here that 48 megapixel Univision sensor has one of the best optical image stabilization. I have ever seen in a camera and trust me. I've tested quite a few in the channel over the years now we're looking at our maximum zoom cameras here now. So it is optical 2.5 times with the iPhone 12 Pro versus the two times optical on the zed fold. Two and then the Xiaomi is actually five times optical camera, but for video it is cropping the 48 megapixel.

That's why it looks terrible here. Stability on these optical stabilized two times and 2.5 times, cameras here with the iPhone 12 Pro max and the zed fall 2, which one do you think looks the best as I slowly walk around I'll, keep pointing at that rock. I think it actually looks a little more steady on the zed fold too. But let me know in the comments. Am I wrong here and now, where things start to get fascinating, and that is low light, video performance and low light stills so which one here in these difficult conditions is the best? It is dark, of course, that storm's gone luckily, and it has stopped raining, which is great red cameras, 4k 30 now the me10 ultra did really well against the iPhone 12 Pro, and it had the sharpest image, the best colors that were closer to true to life.

So this sign right here where it says la posed del mar that should actually be blue, and it looks to be blue on the v10 ultra so which one here do, you think, is the best. Can the iPhone 12 Pro max, actually better it with that sensor, shift tech that it's got in it larger 47 or 48 percent larger sensor? So what if I pan around now? There is a nice little bit of Jada coming through on these phones and stabilization test here short jog in low light, which one is the best. Let me know in the comments which one you thought handled these conditions, the best quantitative stills now so for portrait, selfie shots very different in terms of color over all these three shots. Here I think the stitching was best on the iPhone 12 Pro max, but I do prefer the color, I think of the 10 ultra here with the front facing cameras stitching on the fold too, and the 10 ultra. Wasn't that great.

If you look around my ears and the side of my face, they're not the best, so I give the iPhone. Definitely the wind there, but it's a little too light. So it's really down to personal preference and our rear cameras for portraits. I prefer the 12 pro max's color here. I just think it's a bit warmer, it's a more pleasant image.

The photo's not bad as well stitching on all three are good, but my face looks a little red. This often happens with the Xiaomi phone, so I think that out of these three is the worst, and it's down to yeah the 12 pro max or the fold 2, and again it's subjective personal preference, which you prefer. Let me know in the comments which one you think is the best for the portraits the shot of the blue flower. I think all three, it looks good the fold 2 is a little too over saturated a little too much contrast. So it's between the pro max and the 10 ultra, but I think the pro max here nailed it more.

That was more true to life, the color that slightly lighter shade and more details in the petals as well less clipping so that one gets the win here. For me, the pro max so this shot here of the restaurant terrace, the white balance, is actually the best on the me10 ultra. I found that there's good detail across all three of them: uh the 12 pro max leaning towards a bit of a cool tint here, a little too cool for my liking and the fold too again, just over saturating a little. So I think here the 10 ultra one out with the more true to life color. Now this shot here at the end of the coast.

Last rotors, I think the 12 pro max did an excellent job. But when you zoom in and take a look at the details in the darker areas, I think the fold to the Samsung has aced this with their ultra-wide great detail. I don't know what happened here to the 10 ultra, but I'm going to show the photo because that's exactly what it took. So that's how it is so this photo here of the car. All three of them took an excellent image.

I do like what we're seeing with the details in the sky the ground, but I found the more true to life colors where, on the fold 2 or the 10 ultra, the 12 pro max was just a little too bright, the dirt those stones there weren't, actually that light color another ultra-wide shot. So I think the iPhone 12 Pro max did the best here. It's quite a detailed image and the 10 ultra was the worst here, but the colors on the fold 2 as well weren't that great so definitely the 12 pro max won this one zoom camera so no contest. Here, we've got five times optical on the mi 10 ultra very detailed 48 megapixel photo to unfold two, so this one is two times optical, detailed image again and then the 2.5 optical of the 12 pro max. Now, let's step it up to low-light.

This is where things get really difficult, so the selfies in low light yuck the Xiaomi, the me10 ultra. I look like a ghost there, so we've got a little of a too much of a reddish tint on the iPhone 12. Pro and the fold to, I think maybe was the best here, with the low light selfie and in the shot of the hotel. All three of them did very good now that hotel russet the sign itself. That should actually look a bit more like the meteor ultra, I found the v10 ultra colors were actually a little more correct, a bit more noise coming through on the 12 pro max.

So it looks like that sensor. I don't really know if it's doing too much, but to me, it came about third place out of these three. Alright, so a very difficult shot, this one they all did very well, but it is down to, I believe, the vol 2 or the 10 ultra when you zoom in you, take a look at the streetlights. Look at that yellow lamp! You can see that the iPhone 12 Pro max is doing the worst job here and for me, it's definitely either the fold two or the 10 ultra just seem to do a better job here overall. So this is another very difficult shot here and all the three phones did do very well, but I believe it is down to the iPhone 12 Pro max or the 10 ultra here.

If you take a look at the bricks and then that bush there see the details captured so which one did the best, I think it's very close, this one kind of hard to call I'm going to say about the same there for the iPhone and the mi 10 ultra all right. So that's a wrap. These are my findings so for video, I believe the iPhone 12 Pro one that HDR video is perfect. All those details that pulled through in the shadows perfect and the way it captured the sky and everything in the scene. However, the front-facing video looked a little soft to me, and some people may actually prefer the fold to a little more contrast, and when it came to image stabilization, I don't believe the iPhone 12 Pro actually came out on top.

I think it was the fold two or the 10 ultra. The meteor ultra in some places was very good with that electronic image stabilization and then, when it came to the still photography well, okay low light was a bit of a draw trading blows, and it's all down to kind of preference with those daytime shots as well. They are all very good, but I think the ultra-wide definitely on the iPhone had a bit of an edge or the Samsung. The meteor ultra wasn't so good. There portrait photos, I preferred the iPhone for the stitching, the colors, possibly more to the Samsung they're, quite warm on the iPhone, but really they all did very good.

So do you agree with my findings here? Did you like this video? This in-depth comparison? If you did please do give a thumbs up, so other people can find it and I hope to see you back in the channel with more up-and-coming reviews.
