iPhone 12 Pro Max vs Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Camera Test

Hello guys and welcome to a brand-new camera comparison between the brand new iPhone 12 Pro max against the Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra-right now we are shooting at 4k at 30 frames. Per second tell me in the comment section below which one do you think has a better stabilization and which one has better audio. We have switch note to the rear cameras, and again we are shooting at 4k 30 frames per second, the iPhone can shoot up to 4k at 60 frames per second, and the s20 ultra can shoot up to 8k at 24 frames per second. Both phones do also feature ultra-wide cameras, and you can see how much more you can capture in the frame. The iPhone 12 Pro max has also a 2.5 x, optical zoom, telephoto camera and the s20 ultra has a four times: optical zoom telephoto camera. We start now with some pictures from the front camera, and in this first case I like how my face is sharper, and my skin color is correct on the iPhone 12 Pro max.

The s20 ultra, on the other hand, has better dynamic range. In this case, we have very similar assaults, but again I do prefer the 12 pro max picture. The s20 ultra is so much better. In this case, the iPhone 12 Pro max was affected by the sun. The results couldn't be more different here.

My face is sharper on the iPhone, but the overall picture is too cool for my Vikings. The picture of the s20 ultra is warmer, but also a little darker. The dynamic range is also better on the s20 ultra in this next case. We have opposite results. My face is brighter and cooler on the s20 ultra, and it is darker and warmer on the iPhone 12 Pro max.

Switching to the rear cameras. You can see right away that the iPhone 12 Pro max has natural colors compared to the more vibrant colors of the s20 ultra. Both phones do also feature ultra-wide cameras and again the results are the same, just like with their main cameras. The iPhone 12 Pro max has a 2.5 x, optical zoom, telephoto camera and the s20 ultra has a four times: optical zoom telephoto camera, and, of course, you can zoom in much more with the s20 ultra. That aside, the picture on the s20 ultra is too flat for my taste.

In this scenario, the iPhone has a lot of glare compared to the s20 ultra, which wasn't affected at all, with the ultra white cameras. I do prefer the 12 pro max this time because it kept the natural colors. The s20 ultra looks like it has boosted the saturation again with the s20 ultra. You can zoom in much more, and the quality of the picture is also better. I prefer the 12 pro max in this case, because the building on the s20 ultra is so warm.

It almost looks pink when in reality it is white. Just like the iPhone with the ultra-wide cameras. Again, the iPhone did produce a much more natural shot. The grass and the trees, however, are brighter on the s20 ultra again, when zooming in the s20 ultra is better, but just like before the white doesn't look real, while the iPhone kept the same natural colors on all three cameras in this next case. The iPhone 12 Pro max is brighter and also cut the natural colors, while the s20 ultra has punchier colors.

The same results are with the ultra white cameras too. I really do like how the iPhone keeps natural colors. The s20 ultra is again over saturated with the telephoto camera. The s20 ultra is now brighter, and it almost matches the natural colors of the iPhone 12 from max. You can see here.

Both phones took similar pictures with the sky on the s20 ultra having a little better colors again, with the ultra-wide cameras. The results aren't that different the iPhone is warmer and more realistic compared to the more vibrant picture of the s20 ultra, when zooming in the s20 ultra is brighter and sharper, even with close-up shots. The iPhone is more natural compared to the s20 ultra, also because of the bigger sensor. The field of focus on the s20 ultra isn't as wide. You can see.

It started to blur the edges of the flower. Again in this case, the results are very different. The iPhone 12 Pro max is for people who want their pictures to look natural and the s20 ultra is for those who want their pictures to have vibrant and saturated colors moving to low light, and I have to say I am very happy that apple finally added night mode on the front camera you can see both are bright and sharp, but the one from the iPhone 12 Pro max is much better. Here again, the 12 pro max did a fantastic job. Keeping the details of my face and also the background is very visible.

The s20 ultra made my face too bright, and the background is way darker in this next case. Again, the picture of the 12 pro max is amazing. The s20 ultra is doing a good job too, but it just can't keep with the iPhone switching to the rear cameras, and here both are doing a decent job, because there was a lot of light when using night mode. Both became much sharper, the iPhone is also brighter compared to before, using the ultra-wide cameras without night mode. The s20 ultra is brighter compared to the 12 pro max, which is almost unusable with night mode.

However, the iPhone 12 Pro max became a lot brighter and sharper, even though I think the picture from the s20 ultra still looks better in this next case. I do prefer the 12 pro max picture because it is brighter and warmer with the ultra white cameras. However, the s20 ultra is brighter, and also the lights are better handled with the main camera again. The 12 pro max takes brighter and sharper pictures. The s20 ultra isn't bad, but the iPhone is just better.

In this scenario, the iPhone 12 Pro max's ultra-wide camera is brighter, but it also has a lot of noise, and it isn't as sharp as the s20 ultra in this next case. Again, the iPhone 12 Pro max is brighter compared to the s20 ultra. I have to say I am very impressed with the new sensor found on the iPhone 12 Pro max. The ultra-wide camera, even though, is improved a lot compared to the 11 per max. It still isn't as good as the one found on the s20 ultra when zooming in low light.

However, both phones use their main cameras. Basically, the telephoto cameras are still useless in low light, just like in daylight, even in low light. The iPhone 12 Pro max takes natural shots and the s20 ultra takes more vibrant pictures. I like both in this case. Let me know in the comment section below which one do you prefer.

I am now going to leave you with some more shots, so you can judge yourself without me interfering. So if you did enjoy this video a thumbs up would be appreciated. Thank you for watching.
