IPHONE 12 PRO GOLD UNBOXING!!! (Official) By Technomentary

Hey guys technometry with the most exciting unboxing video of the year. Here we have it the iPhone 11 Pro in this box. We're going to be unboxing it. This is the gold edition, one that came in today. We pre-ordered it on the 16th, and it came on the 23rd as promised, and we're going to take a look at the gold edition and what the iPhone 12 holds and take a look at some top features and see how it looks like so. Let's go ahead and get this unboxing underway.

As you can see, it came in this uh UFS for me in this box, and we're going to go ahead and start taking it off, so we're going to go ahead and start taking the tape off. While we do take off the tape off, you guys are new to our channel. We do a lot of techs, news reviews and giveaways so make sure to hit that subscribe button. As you can see right now, I am going to take off the tape here. Hopefully, after we take off this tape, we will be able to get to our iPhone 12 Pro all right. Hopefully this is the most difficult part of the unboxing here all right, so we got it out and take a look at it in the box. Here we have the iPhone 12 Pro as promised in the box, and we're going to go ahead and rip this foam off and let's go ahead and put the cardboard box away and, as you can see, this is the iPhone 12 Pro. It is a smaller box than some other boxes.

You notice, they've, definitely trimmed down the box. Size were normally, the iPhone boxes are twice as the size. This is completely black um boxing, which is one of the first um, but it is a gold edition phone and this is the 128 gig model that starts at 9.99 and tax, of course. So it depends on you know where you live you're, going to pay a little more or less, but it's going to be 1000 and up. So, as you see here, it's covered in still the plastic film here and everything, and we're going to go ahead and unbox it for you guys.

So first thing is the plastic, so this is probably the most important part of this. Unboxing is just doing this ASMR plastic removal alrighty. Hopefully you guys like that little of ASMR, and we got the plastic on this side. So you can such a delicacy when you take off that first film, whenever you're doing an unboxing video- and here we have it the box itself flat on the table, we're just going to go ahead and take this off. I really like this box.

It's tiny, but the design is just amazing here and there it is the iPhone 12 Pro the gold edition one and if we take a look at it first thing: you'll notice here is that the phone itself, but before we take a look at the phone thoroughly you'll notice that this time around that they included the charging cable and that's about it. We don't even have the brick or the AirPods that come with the other box, and that's one of the big things about the iPhone 12 Pro is that apple did go ahead and trim out what they were, including for them to be environmentally sustainable, which is probably just a gimmick to kind of reduce their cost for production. That's what we think, but we can discuss that a little more later. So, as you see here the back here, you notice the big Apple logo right there and there's no sign of iPhone written on this phone, and you see those three cameras here as well and then, if we take a look at it, the top part- the gold bezel here sim card tray right here and then the bottom port, and then this side as well, and then this part, which is supposed to be the 5g antenna. And if we take a look at it, they did kind of give us an idea of what these are.

And then we have this white plastic that we're going to take off there. You have it and, as you can see here, you'll notice this one has more rounded edge, but a thicker edge than the iPhone 11 itself and the screen here you know just like it is it's supposed to be XD or screen. So that's a different type of screen which supposed to be a harder screen so less likely to crack. So we're going to go ahead and power this one on, and it is powering on right off the bat. We have the big Apple logo, and we have the hello screen here.

The famous hello screen for all I phone and, as you can see, this already has pre-installed iOS 14 set up, and we can go ahead and set start setting it up here. The phone just feels really natural. In your hand, it's its not as heavy as you think it. It would be comparing to other phones, but it just sits on your palm really nice. I don't have big hands, but you know for me.

It looks you know the feel of it is just it just sits, naturally, on the hand itself, it's not slipping or anything like that. It just sits there like. There is no slip on if, even if you didn't hit either case, there's less likely it's going to slip off of your palm or so we're going to go ahead and take a look at it more thoroughly. By connected to the Wi-Fi here, I'm going to go ahead and put the Wi-Fi password here, as you know, with these phones, if you're going to set it up, you're going to either have to use your sim card, which, for some reason it used to be on the other older phone, the right hand, side the iPhone 11 no, but now they moved it on the side with the volume. So that's one major well one of the major changes.

You'll notice is the try. The sim tray has been moved from right to left and, as you can see, it's currently activating the phone which is validating with the apple server. The phone is good, and we have the data and privacy here we can just hit continue face ID which we're not going to set up here. Remember all of this stuff you can set up later, but we're not setting it up right now, because we're just doing the unboxing here to make sure everything looks good. So far, it's flawless now just flawless experience so far with the phone.

We're going to go with the express settings and just go through all the setup process and see true tone the light and the dark mode standard, and we have welcome to the iPhone 12 Pro guys and there you have it. We got to the main screen, just amazing phone overall. So some top features of this phone is that the 5g is finally here on the iPhone. It's been one of the things that has been rumored around, whether they're going to include it or not, but it is available. Of course, you need a carrier that does have 5g enable on your device it's supposed to be having a faster processor because of the a14 bionic one that was also released on the iPhone SC 2020 edition.

But this one is the updated chip, so we will have to kind of check it out to see. Does it really do any justice with that processor? Also, the camera itself is supposed to be more improved where you have faster, auto, focusing with the newer cameras on this phone. As you know, apple they're never shy away from improving their camera. One of the biggest reasons why people love the iPhone is that their improvement to the camera itself, which we are going to do a lot more testing on as you'll notice, that each Dr here has 240 frames per second as well. So that's one thing: we will go ahead and test.

You have the portrait mode, of course, and all of that we're going to go ahead and do testing later on in the video to give you guys a full experience of the iPhone 12 Pro. Another thing that we discussed is that it's supposed to have a faster charging, which you know we're going to test out to make sure that charging itself is fast or not. But overall you know the phone itself. Impeccable just looks beautiful, sits naturally, on your hand, at a price that apple has it quite expensive and if you guys aren't ready to make this expensive purchase, we'll leave the link in the description to Amazon, where you can get the 11 pro, which seems like about the same they're dropping the price there for three. Four hundred dollars, so you guys can even score that phone and that phone you know it might not be a big you know upgrade.

So if you're looking to save money, you know that might be a route that you want to go to. But overall here, as you can see, this is the phone I want to show you guys more close-up visual of the phone. It's the gold edition, if you're looking to buy it, definitely recommend this color. This phone is the unlocked version of it. Usually I recommend, if you guys, get a phone off apple's site, get the unlocked version of it.

That way, you can switch between different carriers. If you get one through a carrier kind of stuck with it uh generally, that's not something you want to do just to be stuck with the carrier, but the unlock one. You can just take your sim card out. Put another sim card switch out between carriers. If you go travel a lot, you can go international as well.

The other thing I want to mention is that the iPhone 12 Pro the base storage goes starts at, as you can see here, 128 gigs a little more twice: the improvement of the base model of the 11 pro, which starts at 64, gig and the max. It's still the same you're still at 512 gigs that max hasn't changed. You can also get it in the 256 gig, but 128 gigs. If you're, you know if you're not doing too much with it, it's probably enough, but if your person does a lot more on it, you might want to consider getting the 512 gig, of course, you're going to be paying a little more for more storage, but overall there's the phone.
