Iphone 11 VS XR Camera - Which should you buy? + 1 year thoughts on XR

Hey guys welcome back to my channel welcome internship first time on NOLA Viva and today, I wanted to talk about the differences between like the XR and the iPhone 11 since I guess we all know by now. That's iPhone 11 is the only difference between that and the XR is like the camera. So I took it upon myself to do an upgrade with T-Mobile from the XR to the 11 to see if it was worth I guess upgrading. So the phone I had prior to the X I was actually the 8th place and the 6s plus, so I've had a few guy phones and the XR gotta say the first thing that I actually enjoyed. We have an airsoft for a year. Is the battery life I feel like the buyer? Life did have it held a perfect charge like throughout the day, I didn't really have to charge it a lot.

However, the bad thing about it was that I felt like it started to the battery life started to decline. It wasn't as good as it was when I first had it moving into late a year. Sorry guys I'm, not no tech, savvy person did forget them. Internet disclaimer I'm, just your average girls. Unless that's you know all Instagram and I create content.

So I just wanted to share my experience from that perspective. So the second thing that I really loved about having the X operator was the actual screen size. So the screen size to me, I felt like was much bigger, so it actually it's bigger than the actor eighth-place and the phone itself. The entire phone itself is actually smaller, so I really did enjoy the smaller size phone with the bigger size screen. So the other thing was the spell resolution.

I honestly did it did not bother me coming from the plus, a plus has a better scrub resolution than the XR and is like a little down I have to step down, but did I notice a big difference once I'm like oh man, my screen was so shitty I just wish they would look better. No, let me say that I did think that at first, but it was like for a short period of time, because I loved the extra screen space that made up for all of that, like you really did so the other thing is having face ID with the XR, so you don't get the touch anymore and 3d touch to like log onto your phone, like you did with the eight persons and on some of those other phones to me. I actually like I like face funny, but it has its downsides right. So when the phone is down on the table, and I'm just trying to like quickly open it up from the distance, I'll show you right here an example: it doesn't open it because it can't reckon like your face is far away and that's how it opens up is with your eyes and I. Guess, like your whole, face and everything.

So you have to make sure like over it like in there. You know so that you have to see a face to open up phone. You got the portrait mode when it came to the camera now for me, I! Never use that like I, never used it because it would always blurt out my hair I know now that you can actually adjust the bulk of us. What that's called like that burden isn't about car. You can actually adjust that to go down and make it look a little better, but I just never found myself using a portrait mode because of that I actually would just go, and if I wanted to blur that ground, I'll use, faithful and use the refocus feature to just blurt out the background.

So it also will only focus on my head and not my body I, wanted it to focus on my entire head and body and then blur the background. It also can only be use on people, so if I want to take a picture of a dog- or you know an object neighbor that can do that. So the last thing about having an exercise for a year that I guess I enjoyed was the camera of course like yeah, the camera was pretty good. Coming up from define to 6s plus and eight plus I felt like that. I really did camera ? I.

Should have two lenses and XR Lee had got one lens, but I found myself not missing having that second lens, which I guess we're going to get into with the new iPhone 11. So, let's get into the most exciting part and seeing a comparison of XR and the 11 all right. So first up we have the front-facing camera. So as we notice that one of the features with the 11 is that it's further away like you get more space in a photo, you can be in the same exact spot. You can, of course, get more surroundings more of your body, and you can get family and friends in there.

The quality is so much sharper. I mean it's just it's not even like a little difference. It's a major difference and I really enjoy that. So, let's move on to the next one. So now we have the portrait mode photos right.

So with these you also see I would say a pretty major difference. Now, one of the biggest differences between the two other than just the quality is the fact that if you look down where my necklace is like my chest, one of the actual XR you notice that it is blurred as I was saying previously, the XR and also in the 8 plus it does do blurs your body and just captures your head something next here we have full-body photos so, as you can see now, with the XR again, just kind of lacks quality like it's not as sharp. This is taken with the front camera of my full body. One thing I notice about the exercise is that it is like more saturated. The tones are very different between the cameras, so, let's take it outside.

So this is a gift of a French camera. We're working with you one of the features with the 11 is it has a night mode, the ugliest car which basically there's like it, is brightens up everything at night to make it look so much better, and for this photo you can see that it did a pretty good job. So first I'm going to show you night mode with a close-up selfie, and so, as you can see, with the lemon it's a little brighter, it still looks a little better as opposed to the XR super dark. This is with flash and the selfies. So it's good how crazy I look I would prefer the XR, because I just look I look better right, even though both photos are crazy.

This I just I like this, so much better because of the tone. So the tone just makes me look more like myself, rather than the 11 making me look really washed out, like I'm dying. So the last thing I'm going to show you guys with the front-facing camera is going to be the difference in video right. So I went to the mall in Tampa and I decided to go ahead and record just a quick snippet using the front-facing camera, while hunched over 21 noes I'm. Actually, looking back on this footage, I feel like it's not that much of a difference I mean I'm looking at this stuff for my phone guys so well, you're, looking at it side by side on the actual video.

Let me know down below if you see a difference, because I honestly don't like that the sharpness with the front camera for video to me, it's not that that big of a difference which is actually quite surprising. So, let's move on to the back camera and let's see the photos and video for that. So here you have a photo of me in the mirror it Mac. So let's look at the differences between these two right, so they both look very sharp like they're this, like, oh, my god, so the average eye someone would not be like. Oh my god, that's just a shitty photo.

You know. I mean like this looks like a great photo with just XR alone, but when you put it on all side, the 11 and actually like really look and analyze it. That's when you'll actually see like okay, the 11th a little sharper right. So you can notice it in my backpack and a major shutting is different from I. See is like with my pantyhose, like the white on my pantyhose looks a little sharper, and so, let's move on to this next photo of the MAC lipsticks.

Again, it's not that much of a difference. So here's another photo of a Mac model, a display inside of mac and the biggest difference with this I would have to say it's like the tone. I think the sharpness, but both of them is really great, but the tone of the 11 is just so much better, it's more realistic. So what like it looked like in the store, and so speaking on time, here's another photo that I took fore. You guys to show you that major difference in the tone between the two, so here's, the full body photo and wouldn't this I wear.

Where is the difference with this particular photo? It's very. It's very funny to me because it's like some photos are just like there's a major difference and then others is not so much. Furthermore, it really isn't that much, so I'm going to move into the next photo of a full body. This is gonna, be at night right, so this is using the night mode with flesh. So here's a comparison of the portrait all right.

So looking at these two photos, like the major difference with this, it's processed a tone again, the exon has a tendency to make everything super warm and I actually like that. Like I, like working my skin, however, I do still I want work on my skin, but I want like the surrounding areas have that natural lighting, but again all that could be adjusted with editing. Okay. So with this, this sharpness of both of these are fantastic like they're. Both super sharp in this particular photo and the biggest difference I would say, is again portrait mode on expert only likes to focus on your head.

You'll notice that my shirt from my neck down is pretty kind of blurred, but with it 11 you get all of that detail of my arm. My shirts, the phone like it's just learning background, which is perfect, I love that so here's the video of me walking thrilled forever, 21, and I do see a big difference when it comes to the back quality camera. There is a difference because I feel like this X 11 is definitely sharper. Okay, so the last photo comparison. Are these two photos where I meant the same exact spot, and this is where we get to finally see what that white last looks like on this back photo of that camera? So it's a lot of space I mean.

Can you believe I'm in the same exact spotlight, that's very hard to believe? But if you actually look at the bottom like where the window is it started to, it looks curved. That is the downside of like this, this wide-angle lens, so I guess you have to kind of be mindful when you're using that. Hopefully you can still get some pretty good usable images, but it is still I would say kind of, like a nice feature to have so, let's wrap this up all right. So to me, I felt, like the biggest differences were the front camera quality of the 11 is definitely a big difference right and the back video Knight is pretty good, but I don't really care for it. The portrait mode I like that it cut it, got on my body I, like the fact that I also can get actual images of you know, Porsche mode with images, although that was kind of like a little off too like it wasn't.

Really, it wasn't really getting a drop around essence and all of that, but again you got the both motes, adjust all that and still get a perfect image, but I feel like is that worth the 100-hour difference, because right now, with T-Mobile I believe I'll put this on the screen course. Then it's like $100 difference between XR and the 11. So if you're someone who's coming from the 8 plus and previous phones, should you upgrade to the XR, or should you upgrade to the 11, giving that it's only like maybe $100 difference for you, I know different areas. Different phone companies perhaps may have different pricing, but to me, I think get $100 that match I, probably wouldn't go over there. Yeah.

No definitely I definitely was a little but um yeah. If it's maybe 100 all difference for you I. Definitely you should get that 11 over the next time, but only like I said is, but only if you are someone who uses your camera a lot. Okay, if you take on a lot of photos of family, where you want to take that second, that white lens and backup and capture everybody in the photo. Then yes, I, think that this would be a good feature for you.

If you're someone who does not take photos that much, or you don't even really care, you know, don't know that love is not necessary. Save your money! Save money, get an extra alright guys, so that is gonna, be it I hope you found this helpful if you did please give this video a thumbs up to help me out. I would greatly appreciate that, and for those of you who are subscribed or just want to come back to my channel and see some more videos from me, I will see you in my next video bye.
