iPhone 11 vs Pixel 4 XL video comparison: The winner is clear

What's up guys two miles here with nine-to-five back and I recently got the Google Pixel for Excel, so I figured I. Would big camera comparison test into this guy and he ? a luncheon over video. So right now, I'm just going to grab a bunch of footage. They're going to take a look at it analyze it the audio, the video all that good stuff. That's going to do before I go over the footage. I just want to go over the basic specs of each camera, so the Pixel 4 XL is rocking a 12.2 megapixel F 1.7 main camera with the 16 megapixel F 2.4 telephoto lens. It's also got an 8 megapixel, a 2.0 front-facing camera. As far as video goes, the back cameras can record 4k video at up to 30 frames per second and 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second.

The iPhone 11 has got a dual lens setup as well, with a 12, megapixel, f1, fine, eight main camerae and then a 12 megapixel f/2 point for ultra-wide lens in the front facing camera. Has a 12, megapixel F 2.2 sensor. As far as video goes, the front and back facing cameras can record 4k video at up to 60 frames per second. So with all that out of the way, let's take a look at some footage. You know, I really think it's weird that they didn't include 4k 60, pixels gonna, do camera I think that was a strange move, but this is a front-facing camera test of both the eye for my vanity pixel for Excel texting you at dynamic, green stabilization and mostly just kind of killing time.

So I've just got the MacBook Air here, and I'm, taking a look at some of the footage and for the most part the winner is clear here. It's the iPhone 11, but we're just going to take a look at some of the clips that I shot with both of them and see which one is better and why taking a look at the first clip here. Overall, the iPhone 11 is the clear winner here. The pixel 4 was fine, especially with stabilization for sure, and that's a big thing. I'm noticing that the pixel for that overall it pretty much- has better stabilization for video than the iPhone 11, at least in terms of my usage but yeah as far as exposure, the pixel 4 could not keep up.

The shadows were severely darkened compared to the Afr in 11, as well as the facial exposure on the people performing up on the stage you had a much clearer view of them in the iPhone 11 and overall, the exposure was much well, was much better balanced. In my opinion, and as far as audio goes, I can't really decide which clip I think sounded better. But if I were to pick one I'd, probably say it's the iPhone 11 it had a bit more bass, just a tiny bit more yeah overall iPhone 11 clear winner for this clip, taking a look at this next clip. That is the amusement ride. Now, while I will say that the pixel 4 has a bit better detail as far as like people in the video go is like when you look at the woman's coat, there's a bit more detail as far as the lines and all that stuff goes compared to the iPhone 11.

But the exposure isn't as good as the iPhone 11, not nearly as good, and it's a bit more noisy, especially when you look at the lower half of the image. There's definitely a lot more noticeable noises in the iPhone 11, even though it has a bit more detail, and even though the pixel 4 has a slightly better stabilization. Once again, I will say that overall I kind of, like the iPhone 11 video a bit more just due to the exposure in the lack of noise in the image. So taking a look at this third clip, which is a lake view still in terms of overall video quality I like the iPhone 11, more but I, gotta say when going to the pixel for Excel. There are certain moments in terms of stabilization, or you look at the video, and you look at the footage, and it looks like it's on a tripod, or it's on a robot or something.

The stabilization is crazy-good on the pixel before comparatively to the iPhone 11, but for whatever reason, the pixel 4 always seems to be a bit underexposed compared to the iPhone 11 and besides that, the pixel porn it comes to video can sometimes have this a natural-looking, /, sharpness and I. Don't really like. So for that reason, I think the iPhone 11 does the better job here. Taking a look at this third random clip of me just walking around I have to, say I. Think the pixel for overall does the better job here with the combined stabilization and then the sharpness compared to the iPhone 11 I.

Think it's overall, the better clip, even though I think the iPhone 11 handles exposure in terms of balance just a little better once again, for a clip like this one I'm walking around the pixel 4 does a much better job of handling. The bumps of me walking around and like I, said, the pickle 4 clips is just a lot sharper overall I, really like the pixel clip more than the iPhone 11. So next we're going to be taking a look at some slow-motion Clips I, shot in the same location and overall, once again, the iPhone 11 is the clear winner. Here now all I have to say the pixel 4 once again handles it better in terms of stabilization, the detail is like horrendous in terms of the level of it, it looks like almost as if the video is out of focus comparatively to the Eiffel field.11, you can make out much more details on the clothes of the people walking around and all that the pixel for just looks bad in terms of overall detail, but the stabilization without some Join is done much better on the pixel. For but overall iPhone 11, he is the better clip.

Taking a look at this last clip we're going to be taking a look at some nighttime footage. Overall I have to say it's a bit of a toss-up. There are certain parts in the video where one phone did a better job than the other in terms of a noise level, but as far as color goes I have to, say, I feel the pixel for have the better clip here in terms of just white balance. I think the iPhone 11 clip was a bit too yellowy for my liking, especially on other colors but yeah overall I have to say it's a bit of a toss, I'm not sure which camera I think did the better job necessarily, but he put a gun to my head. I'd say it was the pixel four that had the better click purely just because of color and of course, stabilization.

Only pixel for once again has a better stabilization, so you've seen the footage. The bottom line is that the iPhone 11 is the better smartphone to buy if you're, shooting video on your camera. The pixel 4 is definitely not bad, and it's basically right below the iPhone 11. But overall the pixel 4 is not worth it as far as the camera goes for the price over the six hundred and ninety-nine dollar iPhone 11, maybe Google get it together next year. I feel like I, say this: every year, I talk about a pixel clone, but you know I, guess we'll have to wait and see.

For now the iPhone 11 is come, but that's pretty much it for this video make sure to give it a thumbs up. If you enjoyed- and let us know your thoughts down in the comment section down below thanks for watching, and I'll talk to you guys in the next one.
