iPhone 11 vs iPhone X - Should You Upgrade?

So, what is up guys Nick here, helping you to master your technology, iPhone 11 vs. iPhone 10. Should you upgrade now we're coming off a speed test between these two, where the iPhone 10 was actually quite close in comparison and speed to the iPhone 11? Besides, maybe the video export, but day to day there not a big difference here, hey guys! So should you guys upgrade in terms of the body so basically the actual phone itself? The physical piece of hardware? Does the design stack up on the iPhone 11 ?, the iPhone 10? Well, first, I don't think so in terms of the stainless steel, that's wrapped around the edges. If you go from the iPhone 10, the 11 you're actually downgrading and the quality of material around the edges now on the rear, it's still a glass back, so yeah you kind of get the same thing on the back of the iPhone 11 as the 10, but that aluminum is a downgrade in my personal opinion. Also, if you take a look at the bezels on of the iPhone, 11 they're, definitely thicker than that of the iPhone 10. So everyone tends got a tighter design when it comes to more of an all screen feel on that panel.

Now that rear camera is set up, I think actually looks better on the iPhone 11. So that's a nicer design change overall, though I have to say, if you upgraded for these just on the terms of how it feels in the hand, unless you wanted the bigger screen for a cheaper price, it really is not going to feel like an upgrade I think the 10 feels more premium than the iPhone 11, and that brings me on to handling of these devices, there's more of our reach on the iPhone 11, as it feels taller and wider than that of the iPhone 10. So not only does a 10 feel more premium, it also is more comfortable to hold, but again with the push towards bigger displays. Some people might want that bigger display, but realize that when you're watching video on the 10 you're going to get a higher quality video experience than that on the 11, so you're getting a bigger screen, but a lower quality one okay, guys so talking about displays the iPhone, 11 and 10 actually get around the same Nita brightness. So when you're going through the range here, the slider, the brightness, is not going to be different really at all.

But the color just look a little different, there's a little more saturation here, because it's an OLED panel Samsung will let panel here for iPhone 10, and this one kind of looks like your traditional iPhone 7 display in terms of quality. It is a little, I would say brighter, maybe feels a little more contrast here, just a little, but still it's not that big of an upgrade. Besides the way, the size is not really an upgrade at all over the iPhone 10, though, because the text itself is actually much sharper. You probably noticed a better display a little more, not so much in text on the iPhone 10. Even though I can see that most people might not be able to watch a video, you cannot see the actual higher resolution.

Videos on the iPhone 11, like you, can on the iPhone 10. So in that respect, I do think that the iPhone 10 is the better display, but some people's eyes don't take well to older display. So if you really prefer a traditional LCD than you might like, the iPhone 11- and there are some people out there like that, but I think most people generally like the OLED more, should you upgrade from the iPhone 10 to the 11 and display my answer is no, unless you're trying to get a bigger display for cheaper and displays not that important to you now when it comes to software, there's not really a difference at all between these two. Besides again, the new camera will talk about the cameras offering a camera section, but iOS is iOS. It's still running the latest version on the iPhone 10, as the iPhone 11 I forgot to mention, though, that there's a little of a difference in the way 3d touch works here as it is the actual 3d touch over here, it's more of a haptic press to get into your quick shortcuts to your applications, so it feels a little faster to open on the iPhone 10 than the iPhone 11 and I do prefer it over the iPhone 11.

So that's another display element that I think is actually better on the iPhone 10, but the software itself is identical. So, yes, upgrading here, you're, not really upgrading whatsoever unless you care about that new camera. Software I should state, however, that when you are upgrading to an iPhone 11 that you will have longer support, just because it's a newer phone but at the same time the iPhone 10 is still really early in its support phase. So you got many years still left here on the Apple iPhone 10, and I'm not trying to sound like I, just like the iPhone 10, but it's just we're not that far to make this. Like a pro to the iPhone 11, but if you do plan to keep it a long time, it might be a pro just to go with the phones.

Going to get longer support, which is the iPhone 11 now discussing face ID. You can see that both of these actually unlock relatively fast three to one. You can see very fast on both devices, so I noticed really that the speed is not as much of a difference as Apple what it made. Furthermore, you believe, but I can't say that the iPhone 11 is a little more accurate on different, weird angles: I found it to just respond a little better than the 10 in certain circumstances, so it might be a better face, ID overall than the iPhone 10. So if you want to upgrade, you want a better face.

I'd system I do think it's a little better for the iPhone 11, but it's not too much faster. So talking about performance. Is this a 13 Bionic that much better than the 11? And the answer to that question is no not really at all in the day to day so performance. These phones have been fast for a while, and the iPhone 10 is no slouch right. Now, it's holding up extremely well as you're gonna, see some people in the comments section.

Tell you their experience down below for them. I've seen it multiple times already, and can confirm. That's true. So, if you're coming to this phone thinking, this a 13 Bionic is a big deal. I'm going to tell you right here: it's absolutely not a big deal, but it's a big deal.

If you're coming from a really older phone like a no phone that had maybe an 8, 9, 8 10, then yes, I do think it's a big deal, but the 11 and a 13 not the biggest deal in the world here between these two, at least at this current point in time. As the recording of this video about the storage, this is where actually like the iPhone 11 better than the iPhone 10, and that's because the iPhone 10 had that upsell factor of 64 gigs to start and then year to go to 256 gigs, not so much here for the iPhone 11. You can actually get this in the sweet spot at 128 gigs for only $50, more which I do like I. Think that's the perfect price point and storage for most people, I did get the 64 gig. But that's enough for me on this one 256 gigs is the max.

You can go for the iPhone, 11 I. Just think for the money you get more storage on the 11. So it's a better deal here for the okay guys. So is the iPhone 11 enough of an upgrade when it comes to the camera? And at this point I feel like this is clearly obvious of an upgrade I mean we have deep fusion on the iPhone 11, which is giving you shots that are much sharper than before. But I took a couple samples between both of these, and you could see that they're pretty similar when you have good lighting.

But if you look closely, it's going to be a little hard to see here. The details are just better on the iPhone 11 over here. You can see the color rendition a little different for the iPhone 11 I'd say it's airing a little warmer overall, though I have to say that the iPhone tense does a solid camera. It's not going to disappoint, but the iPhone 11 has more detail on with deep fusion. It just got better over the iPhone 10, and here is a picture in complete darkness.

Furthermore, it was like an old pedal in my basement, and you could see yeah a lot of cobwebs on there, but look at this detail in terms of you can actually see this dark photo. You cannot even see it because there's no night mode for the iPhone 10 same here. We have a bucket right here where I put the mop, and you can see if I zoom in here I could see it a little but check this out. I could see a full picture, so the night mode is insane for the iPhone 11. There's my ROG in a darker lip condition.

Again. Look at the detail for the iPhone 11. Look at the detail in his low-light for the iPhone 10, so the 11 just crushing the 10 in low-light, and you can see right there good detail outside so when you're outdoors you're going to be pretty happy with both of these and then let's go over here to this macro, and you can see right here this picture of my galaxy watch. You can see that it's got good TT on both I would be happy with both these photos. But if you look at the grass in the background, it's a lot brighter, so you can see that the iPhone 11 is doing a better job at pulling in more light.

In addition, my skin tone looks a little more natural here for the iPhone 11. It looks a little redder here for the iPhone 10, so I have to say that on the whole I just prefer the iPhone, 11s, camera and I know who you will ? once you see the results to come out of this cheaper device, but the iPhone 10 is no slouch, it's just not quite as sharp as the iPhone 11. In addition to that, the rear video is also much cleaner for the iPhone 11 in the iPhone 10. So if there's any reason to upgrade, the cameras are far superior to me on the iPhone 11 over the iPhone 10. So, let's see which one has the better speaker, performance, I'm going to bring the mic down in just a minute.

We're going to play this same video guys, so that was the iPhone 11. Let's check out the iPhone 10, so you can see right there that I found the iPhone 11 to sound a little louder than the iPhone 10, but both are very full. So it's not a big gap, though so I wouldn't say that coming from the iPhone 10 to this 11 is a major upgrade here: either an audio not really, there's not a headphone jack on either, so you're still going to rely on AirPods Bluetooth, headphones things like that, hey guys so, which one has the better battery life here between both devices. Now at first, the iPhone 10 had some pretty good battery life, but ever since trying the 10r, which is a similar phone to this one. This has blown people away with the battery life and, of course, the iPhone 11 has the better battery life.

Not only is it bigger, but because it has that lower res screen, it has a newer chip, it's just better on battery life, I mean it's probably at least 2 hours or so longer on a charge. So this is significant of an upgrade in terms of battery life, and if all you cared about is my tens' battery sucks, my camera sucks that maybe the iPhone 11 is gonna, be the phone for you, because those are the major upgrades I'm seeing so far, and the battery is definitely one that I didn't really love for the iPhone 10, but I absolutely love it here on the 11 standby time is great on both of them but actual usage time. You can just watch the battery on the iPhone 11 just stay up there and high percentages for most of your day. I want to discuss the phone call quality because neither of them have been fantastic in this respect. By using the 11 has been a little better for me, I had more dropped, calls and more people saying they could not hear me on the iPhone 10.

Now neither one of these are horrible. They both do work when you're in good reception areas, but rural areas might not like either of these actually I. Think Samsung phones do better, as I've said before, until Apple brings them Qualcomm modems, which we should see next year. These phones right now not the best out there, but the 11 is my pick for phone call quality. It just sounded better.

Less drop calls and better speakerphone performance as well. Best thing I should discuss. Is your resale value. So if you had the iPhone 10, your resale value is continuing. The drop as a time goes on the iPhone 11 because it didn't start out at high MSRP.

This one is still going to drop as well, so you're not gonna, be able to get a big return here, like you, went on a Kevin Pro, for example, because this phone starts so much cheaper than those when people go to buy this a year later, they're going to want it cheaper. So if you take a look at 10 ours at our first sale right now, those phones are in the fives and the fours already, and some people paid $800 for their 10 ours, so I wouldn't expect the highest resale value on the 11 so get the phone enjoy. It uses it for a while. The iPhone 10, though, has dropped quite significantly, but it's still holding up because it was such a premium and high-priced device. So in conclusion, this is a tough one, because you're making sacrifices going to the 11 from your 10, but you're also getting some updates, and it comes down to how much do you care about the screen quality, because if you don't care much about going from an OLED to an LCD I think everything else might be, maybe worth it're getting a bigger screen.

Yes, maybe more bezels, but you're getting a bigger screen, you're, getting a better camera, you're, getting better battery life, and you get more color options, although cheaper material on these sides, the iPhone 10, if you find yourself seeing I, don't know why I bought $1,000 phone I could have just bought a cheaper phone and been just as happy, then the iPhone 11 is gonna, be well worth the upgrade. However, if you love your iPhone 10, and you're still loving it, and you're just kind of distracted by these iPhones, you still like the premium iPhone, but the pro is not enough to convince you just, yet I think holding off so 20/20 on your iPhone 10 is gonna, be the smart move as I do believe. The 2025 G I phone are gonna, be a big step forward for Apple. So anyway, that's it for me. Let me know your thoughts on these two.

Did you do this upgrade? Are you happy with it? Do you regret it? Did you hold on to your iPhone 10? Did you just buy an iPhone 11? You didn't even ever have a 10, and you're just loving.
