IPHONE 11 PRO AFTER 1 YEAR | Camera, Display, Speed, Battery | Long term review vs iPhone 12 Pro

Do, you really need the 12 pro if you already have something else like what is this about right now like come on, how's it going you all, it's Ben, so yeah I've been using the iPhone 11 Pro for one year, there's not a lot that I really don't like about this phone. Let's just walk around a little and show you one of my favorite features, probably my favorite feature of the iPhone 11 Pro and that's the camera. Let's walk around one of my favorite things about the camera on the 11. Pro is just how spicy it looks. I mean HDR. It's got that smart HDR system on it and even in a pretty high bright situation like this or even like a backlit situation, the sun is behind me, as you can see now it's coming through, but you can still see details on my face because of that.

Smart HDR- and I have talked about this in the past before how sometimes the sky will have this kind of like flickering type thing going on hashtag flicker gate, and you may be able to see it in the background where the HDR is kicking in to try to, I guess, overcompensate, for some darker and the lighter areas. But overall I think it does a pretty good job and all of these shots are really um usable in a lot of ways. This is our claim to fame. Oh my gosh. What do you have to say to YouTube? We are scooting around Austin Texas, on this beautiful day and just by face who do I run into then who's that I like the taste, the tar jay bag as like the accouterments, it's not sponsored, so that was really cute, just bumped into one of my friends here, that's one of the cool things about living in kind of smaller city like Austin.

Are you see, people that you know like everywhere here, just kind of cool, it's kind of a charming thing. So, as I was saying, the dynamic range on this phone is really awesome, I'm in a slightly lower light situation right now. Skin tones usually look perfect on this camera, and I'm using obviously the front-facing camera right now and if I flip it around to the other side, you'll see that the camera gets even better speaking of people that you bump into in a smaller city. This is my friend don and how serendipitous that Donna's out here with the iPhone 12 Pro the camera that I have been just talking so much smack about, even though I'm secretly like jealous, obviously that's the new color right, that's the blue, some kind of blue! It's like I like it, midnight surreptitious blue. What do you think about it? You just got it yesterday.

What do you think last night, I've only played with it for a few hours? I, like it, it's a little big as I've had the iPhone 7 until just now uh. So this is a big upgrade for me. Uh, the HDR video is amazing. I mean I can point it at the sun and get the shadows in the sun. I know that so far, what made you upgrade to the 12 pro versus the seven was just getting old and uh the camera quality.

Wasn't that good? This one is a lot better. Would you recommend the 12 pro to people that still have like a seven success, that kind of vibe so far, yeah I'd recommend it if, if, if they're itching to do it but um, if they're happy with the old one and there's nothing, they need, I wouldn't say, upgrade: what's the camera that you have going on here x, pro three fujis ooh spicy in using this for one day the 12 pro like? Are you already like ready to abandon this big honker right here, or what do you think? No, no! I love my still cameras. It's so much faster and easier to get up than this. I have to get into the camera I get in the right mode. I miss everything this I just get up, take a photo and then run, so you heard it here.

Folks. If you have an amazing camera such as the Fuji, do you really need the 12 pro? Do you even need the 12 pro in general if you already have something else like? What is this about right now like come on? Is this the thumbnail for the video? You don't get a GoPro unless you really want one, and you got the money, that's what I say in every video people always like. Should I get this? Should I get that I'm just like? Do you have a thousand dollars? Yes, then get it like? What are you waiting for? Do you not have a thousand dollars, don't get if it's as simple as that all right, thanks don virtual hug? So what did I just say this town is so small, it's small enough where you see some of your old friends, and I love that about Austin, and I will also say this: it's really nice to be able to be walking around vlogging with my phone in a temperature. That's not like 9 million degrees and here's another thing. I love about the iPhone 11 pros camera, the stabilization, I'm not using a gimbals on this iPhone right now.

You know I'm not trying to keep it like super steady in the preview screen. It actually looks like pretty unstable, but then later there's some type of computational, something rather that happens where it stabilizes everything in post, and it looks a lot better. So one thing that I get asked a lot about the iPhone 11 Pro after one year. What is the battery life like and the battery life is still really awesome. I can easily get through one full day with, like you know, normal to heavy use with one charge on my battery and the battery health after one year of use is a 91 percent, which is really amazing, and it still lasts all day.

So I really have no complaints when it comes to battery life, and some of you have asked me before. How do I retain such good battery health after a year of use, and I think I don't really do anything special- I just kind of charge, my phone when I need to- I don't damn that's loud, I don't really use any special chargers. I don't do fast charging. I think that may have something to do with it, and I'm even hearing that the battery in the iPhone 12 Pro is not as good. It's actually slightly smaller than the iPhone 11 Pro, so the iPhone 11 Pro still gets perfect battery life.

One of the features I've been curious about with the iPhone 12 Pro is the new ceramic shield. That's on the front of the phone supposedly has four times better drop protection than the iPhone 11 Pro I've been using the 11 pro for a year and the screen is still awesome. Quality. I've only noticed some tiny scratches on it that are barely even visible unless you, like, you, know, tilt the phone and get a better view of it. I don't really have a lot of thought in my brain, where I'm like.

Furthermore, I need a new phone to get a stronger screen on the front like I don't even use a screen protector on my 11 pro, and it's held up really well, I don't use a case most of the time with my 11 pro. Either I've dropped my phone, you know a small handful of times and there are no cracks on it. The back of it is nice and frosted, so I don't notice almost any scratches or anything. It almost looks like a brand-new phone after one year we're getting into a slightly lower light situation, and this is the one area where I think the iPhone as well as many other cameras, could definitely improve. I definitely noticed some graininess in the image, and I'm outside right now, so you probably can't really tell a lot of difference, maybe hopefully, but it is cool that the iPhone 12 Pro does have the LIDAR sensor, which will give you in theory, better photos and videos in lower light.

But for the most part I don't even shoot that many videos or photos in lower light all right. So when it comes to speed the iPhone 11 Pro is still so fast. Whatever you throw at the iPhone 11 Pro, it barely slows down with anything and even when I'm editing, video, even playing games and stuff the iPhone 11 Pro is still so good at all that stuff, and I really don't see a need to upgrade to a newer phone for a faster speed. So to sum it all up in case you all didn't know already. I am 95.7 percent sure that I am not going to be upgrading my phone to the iPhone 12 Pro or the pro max or any of that stuff. If I did get a new phone, it would probably be the iPhone 12 mini just because it looks so freaking cute, and I just want to heat it.

In conclusion, I'm keeping my 11 pro, and I am super happy with it. I don't see myself upgrading to the 12 pro, because the 12 pro just seems kind of incremental in a lot of ways to me. It has the same operating system. The overall experience will be really similar. The only differences I would really notice would be with the camera and maybe a little of a speed difference sometimes, but the 11 pro is so fast camera is amazing.

Processor is so good. Battery life is still so awesome. I don't really have a lot of complaints about the 11 pro, so let me know what you all think in the comments. I hope you enjoyed this video hope it was useful if you have upgraded to the 12 pro. Let me know in the comments below or if you are going to hold out on whatever phone you have right now and let me know what phone you have.
