iPad Pro 2021 Unboxing and Review // 11" Version By emaricals

So what's in this video in this video, we'll see this new uh iPad Pro 2021 with new m1 chips. So this is the 11-inch version which I will be uh, showing you guys. So you can see that I already got this iPad inside the magic keyboard and the Apple Pencil.

So without anything, let me take out this iPad. So that's the iPad itself right. This is the iPad from the back side, and this is the front side in this video. I will talk about the design, the storage, the connectivity and the display and some other uh additional accessories. So, let's start with the design, so the designers, this particular iPad.

This is a third generation iPad, so it's not really different. It looks very, very identical to its predecessor, so this iPad is very, very similar, I will say 99 similar to his previous generation. So it's the same design, and this is the side, so it looks very sleek slim and the light weight. That's that- and this is the speaker array- that's the power button, and these are the volume up and down buttons, and obviously we got a new thunderbolt uh, USB type-c port. So that's the difference right.

So, let's see what is particularly new in this iPad, comparing to his previous generation the new the first thing: the new is the high performance apple m1 chip, which is a very, very fast and the battery saving chip, which is the game changer. So this apple chip apple introduced a couple of months ago, with this new processor like MacBook, pros MacBook airline and now uh, with the mac 24 inches, and now the same chip comes with this iPad. So that's. The first thing is a new one. The second new thing is this: thunderbolt pole to his previous, the previous iPad had no thunderbolt port.

That means what that you can connect this iPad with external displays, and you can transfer the data as a very high speed. So that's the new thing if you're working- and you can also connect this iPad with the external Dr display, so no problem at all so, but you can't really utilize the whole power of this kind of display, because, with the limitation of this iOS and after WDC, I can see that definitely uh the iOS for the iPad is improved. So that is that this is the second thing, the third thing which has changed because we normally use the iPad at the Wi-Fi, but it also comes with the cellular version. So if you have the cellular version, the previous generation iPad was not the 5g and this iPad comes with a 5g support. So if you want to enjoy the high speed internet connectivity, so you've got this support on this device.

This is 5g ready iPad. Now, let's talk about the storage, the storage, the iPad starts from 128 gigabytes, 256 500, one terabyte and the two terabyte version you can get up to two terabytes, which is a really, really huge amount of space uh. But there is a difference. So if you are buying 128 gigabytes up to 500 gigabytes iPad, you will get eight gigabytes of ram, but if you're buying and one terabyte of version, then you will get 16 gigabytes of ram. This is also very high performance, so with m1 chip, 16 gigabytes of ram, that's absolutely wicked speed and the wicked iPad.

So if you are planning to buy a 12.9-inch iPad, then the display will be different, because that is liquid, retina Dr display, which is a next, or somehow you can say, OLED display, which is a new kind of display which apple introduced, and that is used for the high Dr content. And if you are using like Dr content, so you should go for that version of iPad, but in for now I would say most of the user. There will be no difference, so it totally depends which version you like upon depends on your need. Now talk about the connectivity that this iPad got the USB uh c connection, which means that you, you can charge this iPad using the type c connector, and it's also thunderbolt. So you can connect this iPad to the external displays, so that's the connectivity and this particular iPad.

You can also use the 5g, as I mentioned earlier, it's a 5g version, so you can use utilize the power of 5g. Now, let's talk about the camera, so this particular iPad got two cameras uh on the back side. So these are the two new cameras and one is a 12 megapixel wide and 10 megapixel ultra-wide lens. So these are the two good cameras, and you can shoot up to 4k up videos, that's very good, but I don't really take the photos with the iPad. But if you wish to, you can still use this iPad to shoot for up to 4k videos and the front camera of this iPad is really improved, so it also tracks your face.

For example, if you go anywhere, and it tracks your face and a frame rate accordingly. So that's also very good. If you are using this iPad for your Zoom calls and all the FaceTime calls you got very good resolution. That's the camera! Now, let's talk about the battery life. The battery life apple says like this particular iPad.

You can use like 10 hours of battery in a Wi-Fi and up to 9 hours of battery life if you are using the 5g or the cellular network, so I'm using this particular device like more than 10 days ago and uh. I mostly used it with a Wi-Fi connection and I can say that this iPad got very good battery, but to be very honest, uh. I didn't actually particularly test it, how long it lost, but it got very good battery and I never tested this with a cellular, so I can't really say, but this is what apple claims that if you have a seller, you can get up to nine hours of the battery life. So that's that- and the final thing is about the performance of this particular iPad, because the performance does really matter and with these iPads 2021 with the m1 chip. The performance is absolutely wicked because they are coming with m1 chip.

So with the m1 chip. I tested this iPad with some video editing, software, photoshop and other bits, and I can't see any kind of lag. So this is with these eight gigabytes of ram, so I don't have these 16 gigabytes. This particular iPad is a 256. That means I got eight gigabytes of ram, but I know I couldn't say: I've got any kind of lag.

Switching the apps is absolutely very, very smooth, and if you like turn on like 20 35 apps, I tried my best to just get some performances hit to this processor, but this processor responds very, very good. So that is absolutely wicked performance uh. To be honest for me, if, like you, can't really use the whole power of m1 processor, because this, as I mentioned earlier, this iOS and this iPad cannot really uh utilize the whole performance and as soon as this iOS get improved, and then you can use more multi-threading and multi-switching and some other, like advanced pro level features. You can utilize the full power of m1 chips, but this is still ready. It's a very high performance tablet, computer, and even if you are using the previous generation iPad, they are still very good in performance.

So I mean, if you're somebody thinking to upgrade from just this previous generation iPad, you don't really need to until unless you're really a pro person and your need is a pro like photoshop, video, editing and some other pro workflow, then obviously, you can spend your money, but this is wicked performance, absolutely very good performance. Now, let's see what kind of accessories this particular iPad support so generally with the iPad. The first thing you need is an external keyboard, and this year we have this new color apple, magic keyboard apple is saying new magic keyboard, but this magic keyboard actually supports this. To support this 11-inch uh iPad. They are slightly different.

You can still use the previous generation version, but they're they're not fully compatible. So this is a new color. Obviously, so you can use the magic keyboard, and you can use it like a tiny computer. If you're in a coffee shop or wherever you're going if you're traveling, you can use this keyboard, you can reply to your email that works fantastic, and it's very easy, very easy to sell. This is the second accessory you can use it.

So this particular Apple Pencil is the second gen apple, pencil uh, which is really a nice and nice shape. It looks very genuine pencil and using the iPad. You can do multiple drawings and stuff like that. So that's that. So these are the two major accessories you can use with this iPad as a kind of a computer.
