iPad Air vs iPad 4 Speed Test Comparison By sakitech

Hello and welcome to sake text so in today's video, what we're going to do is we're going to do a benchmarking comparison between the iPad 4 and the iPad 5. So this is actually the iPad Air. This is the 5th generation iPad, and this is the iPad 4, which is the 4th generation iPad and just to cook, give you a quick summary on the specs of these guys. Before I run the benchmarks, the iPad Air has an a7, 64-bit, dual-core processor, clocked at one point: 4 gigahertz, the iPad 4 has an 6x processor, it's also dual-core, and it is also a clocked at one point 4 gigahertz, but it is a 32-bit chip. Okay, now both of these guys have one gigabyte of RAM. This has got the ddr3 RAM.

This is got the regular DDR ram and then what we're going to do today is we are going to launch and run the Geek bench benchmarking tool, which is going to measure the processor and the memory performance and see which one is faster. So before we start, let's go to the multitasking view, make sure nothing is running in the background. Okay, so we do have clean slates on both, so I'm going to launch the Geek bench test on both of these devices. I geek bench go to the menu, and we're going to click run, and we're going to see what the results are. You turn off the lights, so we can see this more clearly, ok, so the iPad Air is done.

Let's wait for the iPad 4 to be done as well. Ok, so the iPad 4 is done as well. So, as you can see by looking at these results, the performance has almost doubled on the iPad Air, so we've got a single core performance of 1479 and the iPad 4 is 781. So that is almost a double number. Then, with the multi-core performance we have 14 24 on the iPad are four, and you've got 26 81 on the iPad Air.

So it is, it is, as Apple has announced they're here, there has been a double in performance on the processor and the memory and that's the end of this video alright.
