OnePlus 8 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro - SPEED TEST

Here we go it's the Xiaomi meet em Pro versus the 1+8 Pro super interested to see how these two phones stack up against each other they've both taken the shackles off the price this year. Both of these companies have decided that their main flagship phone is going to be expensive and absolutely packed with specs. But let's just admire these two phones for a second. They are so good-looking, I, absolutely love the matte finishes on the both of these phones. So, so good-looking here are the specs and actually the OnePlus 8 pro boots up, maybe 10 seconds quicker than the Shame meet em Pro the meet em Pro has faster charging, but that screen is absolutely top end on the OnePlus 8 pro side-by-side. You can just tell a difference, but I think 90 Hertz is that step up that you need from 60.

Hertz 120 is just icing on the cake. How quickly do they download apps from their respective app stores, just two apps on each of the phones? I did do this test separately, not at the same time, just in case they interfered with each other. The OnePlus 8 Pro downloaded those two apps just a couple of seconds quicker than the Xiaomi me 10 pro, not a big difference in it at all. They both have Wi-Fi 6, and that is the latest Wi-Fi standard. Again, this test was done at different times, not at the same time, just in case they interfered with each other.

You can see the results here and again, more or less the same on the same internet connection. Nothing to worry about there. The usual tests I perform is a 5-minute-long, 4k video exported in both of the phones and because they both have the flagship snapdragon. They can both export. This 4k video in 4k 24 frames a second on both of the phones as well and at the absolute highest nitrate.

These two phones have the same video, the same processor, the same Ram, the same storage and the same app, but it is the OnePlus a pro that finishes first and a fairly significant time earlier than the Xiaomi me 10 in this particular test. I, don't personally believe that opening apps side-by-side tests anything to do with the speeds of the phones. Just have a quick look at the animations and how smooth you think they are in terms of opening apps. What I will do is just test the long opening screen apps like games to see if there are any big differences you can see. The difference on this game is literally not even half a second between the two phones and then moving on to another game like pop G, which will load pub G first, and on this occasion it is just the one plus a pair again, again by half a second moving on for a third time just to see if there are any differences and actually on this occasion by maybe a second, it was the meat Emperor.

So, as you can see, there really are no differences in speed between opening these big apps. How about the RAM management between the phones? As I said? They both have 8 gigabytes of RAM they're, both running skins on top of Android. Are they going to close any apps? In the background this app was kept open, then just moving through the apps to mate RAM, which is a food ordering app. This is an advert screen, so it didn't reload. It was kept open in both of the phones, and they're moving on to HQ music, again, some really annoying advert screens, but it was definitely kept open in both of them, and that was the story for every single app that I tested.

As you can see here, this game again kept open. All the apps were kept open in both of the phones, so a very good performance from both the tempo and the OnePlus a pro as I said earlier. The position on both of the fingerprint sensors is almost identical to both have optical fingerprint. Sensors should be very quick, and you can see real-world difference between them absolutely zero. Both are very quick and also have very short opening screens, which definitely is a plus in my book.

Next I want to use May 2, which is a picture editing app to create a collage of pictures and video. So I want to test how quickly the phones can take those images from their memory. That was just the meat in there and then process those images to create and save a collage. This is how people use their phone, so it should be a good test to see which one is fastest. Remember that the mean turn loaded the images fastest, and it actually exported the images the fastest on this occasion only 2 seconds in it.

Those so again, not a big difference between them. FaceTime knocking, definitely an interesting one. A lot of people will use this. They both have a selfie camera in a cutout at the top left-hand corner the 1, + 8 Pro, moving to that from a pop-up selfie camera, so that will definitely be an improvement in unlocking times from the previous generation of one plus seven hie pro on some occasions, I definitely see the 10 Pro first on others, I definitely see the 1+8 Pro first. This is another instance for me that in the real world there really is no discernible difference between how you're using the phones.

So for me, this is not something that you should be using to differentiate between boy and one of the other they're, both very good, both very quick and do the job. It's not a speed test without answer to this will test the raw power of these systems, the RAM, the storage, the processor. They are both using all the same stuff, the snapdragon 865 UFS 3.0 LPD, Dr v ram, but which phone will get the biggest score on an tutu, let's actually just first there's something that you may actually be really using on a daily basis, which is the camera. How quick is the camera out loading up and taking a photo? Sometimes you need to really be quick about these things. You can see the shutter speed on both of the phones very, very good and about half a second to process the image into the gallery.

Let's slow that down to 250 frames a second and see if there's any difference in the loading, the smoothness of opening the app it was actually the meat em pro that just got the shutter off at a quicker speed, but I feel like overall, maybe the OnePlus 8 pro was able to open the gallery app and process the image to be ready to use a little quicker. But honestly, this is not even half a second in it, and then we have the an tutu scores the mean temperatures out, the OnePlus 8 Pro, almost at 600 K. It did, however, heat up the most the OnePlus, a pro only heating up by about 6 degrees, as opposed to the meat tends 9 subscribe for latest tech, news and videos. That's it for now, but I'll see you in the next one.
