iPad Air 2 vs. iPad Mini 4 - Comparison and Speed Test

Hey, what's going on is psych here today, I'm going to be doing a video comparing the iPad Air 2 to the iPad Mini 4. Yes, I got an iPad Mini 4 I traded, a first-generation Apple Watch for it. It's 128, gigabytes and I think it was a very good trade because it's in literal mint condition so yeah. Let's get into this comparison, so obviously, first, if you look at these things, basically, the iPad Air tube just looks like a bigger version of the iPad Mini 4, like they literally have the same as everything's placed the same, except this is obviously bigger and nine point seven inches, and this has a 7.9 inch display. They both have the same cameras. They both have the same options when buying them.

Furthermore, they had 16 32, 64 and 128 gigabytes, and both of them came in space, gray, silver and gold and in Wi-Fi, +, cellular so yeah, obviously, both have touch ID a couple of things that are different, though about them is the chipset. The iPad Mini 4 has the a8 chip, while the iPad Air 2 has an X chip. Also, this came out like roughly a year before this one. This one came out in September 2015 right before the iPhone 6s came out, and this came out in October 2014 right after the iPhone 6 came out. Surprisingly, the iPad Mini 4 has more pixels per inch than the iPad Air 2 at 326 versus 264.

Also, I don't get why they released these a year apart. This is like a mini rant. It would have been much more sense if they released this right when they released this instead of releasing the mini three, because the mini three is literally just a mini two, but with touch ID like they added no extra specs. But with this the specs are very similar to the iPad Air 2. So it would have made more sense if they released the at the same time and just skip the mini three altogether, and this would have been the mini three instead, I, don't know why I was decided to do that, but yeah all right guys so now, I'm going to be doing is a quick speed.

Comparison testing basic functions like touch ID feels like the iPad Mini 4 was slightly faster. Opening up the camera I think it's hard to tell for this one I'm going to flip the cameras- oh my god, okay, Wow, hang on looks like the iPad Air 2 slightly faster on that one I don't know yeah. This one is very shattered. I'm, aware of that opening, let's see FaceTime okay, the iPad Air 2 was obviously a bit faster um how about going to Safari and then loading up, Apple or column and the mini forwards faster. So I guess it just depends on like I, don't know.

I guess it just depends on because the iPad Air 2 has a better processor than the mini 4, but sometimes the mini 4 has beaten the air 2 now, which one should you get? Obviously I'm, not going to like pick one and be like. Oh, this one's better. What I'm going to say is honestly. It just depends on your preference. If you want a bigger display at nine point, seven inches both have very, very similar specs.

So if you want like an increased battery life and a slightly faster chipset honestly, the chipsets are about the same. Um I would get the iPad Air 2, but if you want a smoke device, I'll get the iPad Mini 4, so yeah. That's my quick comparison and mini speed test. What we guys enjoyed peace out.
