I did NOT go for the OnePlus 9 Pro.. and here's why 🤔

Hey, it's me martin and in today's video I want to share with you why I didn't go for the OnePlus 9 pro, but rather pick the OnePlus 9 instead and how it's been holding up as my daily driver for the last 4 weeks. So let's get started I'll break this video down into 6 parts where those phones differ, and we'll start with the most obvious one price. I cannot look into your wallets, but there is quite a difference between the two. The OnePlus 9 has a suggested retail price of 700 euros, while the pro version is 200 euros more expensive, and that got me thinking. How do I use my phone hardware wise? What are the added features, my preferences, and is that worth the extra 200 euros with those questions in mind, I started to think about. First, the display both phones come, for example, with a 120 hertz refresh rate on their AMOLED displays, which are both gorgeous, but can I see and feel the differences with the pro it's LPO panel? Probably, if I look well and long enough at it, but for every day-to-day usage, I've got the idea that it's a bit of overkill, then I started to list the differences between the cameras and what my preferences are.

Both phones have the same megapixels only the sensor differs in favor for the 9 pro, which use higher end sensors. In practice, both phones aren't gonna. Disappoint you in performance, the OnePlus 9 is a marked improvement on its predecessor, offering better imaging processing and photo results. The 9 pro also has an 8 megapixel telephoto camera, which I personally never use on any smartphone, and both phones can shoot video up to 8k at 30 frames per second, but I rarely shoot AK myself bottom line. I believe, as cheesy as it is the best camera you have is the one that you have in your pocket.

Yes, it's a bit cheesy, but for me, I mainly post them on social media. I rarely print them only for some special occasions, but that's it, and therefore it wasn't worth it to me to go for the slightly better camera performance wise. There is very little difference between the two: both phones come with the snapdragon 888 chipsets, either 8 gigs or 12 gigs of lddr5 ram, and both phones have 128 gigs or 256 gigs of storage options, which made it easy for me to pick the phone that is more affordable just like performance. The battery pack is the same 4 500 William hour because of almost no difference in hardware, except for the display. I didn't expect major differences between the two when it comes down to screen on time and made the choice for me already a bit easier.

Both phones have this same 65 watt wire charging, but the 9 plus pro has access to 50 watt wireless charging via warp chart 50, whereas the OnePlus 9 has to do it with 15 watt. I wirelessly charge my phone overnight with the optimized charging mode on, thus making the higher charging speed a bit redundant to me, and on top of that, the 9 lasts me a very good bit of time for the specs, the 120hz display they offer and charge superfast in case. I definitely need to software wise. Both phones are 99 identical, so there isn't one to pick one over the other. I even have 9 features that I really like a lot, and they are linked here in the top right corner for you to check out after watching this video.

In the end, I believe you cannot go wrong with either. Yes, they are slightly more expensive than their predecessor, but offer enough to justify that for each individual part. It wasn't worth it to me to pay an additional 200 euros for these slightly different cameras and display, and when I look at it from a total package, well, no still not really, whichever model you go for you're likely to have one of the best android phones that will last you a good while before you need to consider upgrading everybody has different expectations, preferences and a budget. I completely understand that personally, I'd rather keep another 200 euros in my pocket, as the OnePlus 9. Does everything what I expect of it, and it's there for my daily driver without any complaints already for four weeks, based on your preferences and budget, which one would you pick and why? Let us know in the comments below I'm really curious.

Alright, that's it already for this video. I hope you enjoyed it, but you also learn something and have enough information right now to pick one of the two. Thank you so much for watching this video. I hope you enjoyed it, give it a like if you did so subscribe in case you haven't already, and then I hope to catch all of you in the next one. You.
