Huawei P40 lite hands-on and unboxing

Hey, what's up guys will here for GSM, marina, there's no stopping Huawei who, despite their issues regarding Google, apps and services, are still releasing new phones? We've just received the mid-range p40 light. It's the first we'll get to see from hallways 2020 lineup. So let's open up the box and check it out all right. The first thing you see inside the box is the phone inside a plastic baggie. Let's get the stickers off just to note that this isn't a retail unit. The gradient finish is pretty.

It reminds me of Easter eggs in springtime. The chrome sides are a nice touch too. Also in the box we have a package with a sim tool and some space for paperwork. I, guess there's a bundled pair of 3.5 millimeter earbuds. We have a 40 watt, Huawei supercharger in the box, so charging speed should be pretty fast and finally, there's a USB cable.

The Huawei p40 light is also called the Huawei nova 6s II in some markets, confusing, but anyway, now that we have the phone in our hands. So let's go over his key features. First, the design like many other mid-range phones, the p40 light- is made from plastic, and it feels like it ? yeah. Well, who decided that glass is better anyway. The Sakura pink finish features some pretty neat pastel colors and the size look convincingly like metal, even though they aren't I.

Also like the looks of the quad camera setup, its rounded square and symmetrical almost like a button you'd so onto a shirt on the front, is a six point. Four inch IPS LCD screen with a 1080p resolution. It looks nice though I'm not a big fan of the punch hole cutout up in the corner, the cutout houses, the 16, megapixel selfie camera and even at first glance, I can see some backlights bleed near the top of it. Another thing I noticed here is that the fingerprint reader is located on the side rather than on the back or under the screen. It's really fast and responsive next to user interface, without Google you're, probably aware, with always difficulties with the USA, and that means they're.

New phones, don't have Google services instead of Google Play you'll be downloading apps through Wallace, App, Store or another third-party app store. This means that if you want to watch this, video on the p40, lite you'd have to use a web browser or go around the restrictions by side, loading, the Play Store or the YouTube app, or you can transfer apps from a phone with YouTube already installed on it, but you still miss out on software updates for those apps. Third on the list: cutting-edge, mid-range performance, the p40 light is definitely no slouch when it comes to performance is running on the new Karen 810 chipset, which is built on a seven nanometer process. Compare this to the previous Karen 710, which was on 12 nanometers Plus, while why phones have GPU turbo? Basically, software driven optimization of resources for gaming I'm. Expecting the performance here to take the crown as far as mid-rangers go, we'll have to see how power efficient it is, but battery life should be quite good thanks to the p40 lights, large 4,200 million power battery and, let's not forget about the superfast charging.

Finally, we have the quad camera setup. The p40 light has a 48 megapixel quad bear main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide cam, a 2 megapixel dedicated macro cam, and a def sensor. I wish that this setup included a telephoto cam, but you can't have it all at this price, and these cameras will still give you some measure of versatility. So there you have it guys. The p40 light is going for around 300 euros right now, I think it looks nice design, wise and the gaming performance should be great for getting this kind of quality from the lite version.

I wonder: what's in store with the p40 and the p40 pro. Let us know what you think down below, and I'll see you soon with our full review.
