Huawei Mate 30 Pro SPEED TEST vs P30 Pro / K20 Pro

Let's put the: why wait mate 30 Pro through the tech CG speed test up against the read me K 20 and the predecessor, the Kwame P 30 Pro, the mate 30 Pro is featuring a brand new and improved chipset from Huawei the Kiran 990. That's up against the Kiran 980 in the P30 Pro on the left and on the right. The Redmi k20 pro using a snapdragon 855 both of the Huawei phones, are carrying 8 gigabytes of ram. The Redmi k20 pro is carrying 6 gigabytes of ram. Let's test app opening times between the three phones, the mate 30 pro comes with brand new emu 10 out of the box. App opening times for normal daily apps, like messaging services and social media, are not going to be too different between the phones.

They are some of the quickest phones in the industry, with the best processors both of the Huawei phones are set on performance mode to give them the best performance and both have full HD screen. Quality turned on to subway surfers is a little more taxing on the system and the mate 30 pro in the middle opened. It first buy not even half a second over the other two phones, let's open pub, G and see what the difference is between these phones. This is definitely one of the more taxing games that you'll play on your mobile. The mate 30 pro is capable of high frame rate gameplay.

Just like the other two are as well. That's on the Chinese version. It may differ. If you have the worldwide version, the mate 30 Pro did load it first, but the difference is pretty small and gameplay is going to be fairly similar between the phone's loading wondering out, which is a five-on-five type of game. The loading screen on this game is actually really long, so it will give us a chance to see which of the phones is actually quicker, and it was just they made 30 per again, but a small margin.

The camera app on the phones again has very little difference. All the phones are really, really smooth and breezing through this test. So, let's go through to Kinney master and export a 4k video on these phones, a 5-minute long 4k video exported the red Nikkei, 20 Pro was capable of exporting in 4k, but the two Huawei phones had to export in 2k resolution. So I picked 2k resolution for all the phones. You can see on the phone screens, all of them have the same settings and I will press export at the same time.

Usually Karin processors do not handle video export too well and actually the P30 Pro was a tiny bit faster than the Main 30 pro with the red Nikkei 20 pro being the slowest here. This could be down to some software upgrades. But let's move on to a quick and to test I want to see how the new Karin 990 chipset performs, especially in the GPU area, which is traditionally not the best performing part of a Karin chipset and there it is 450,000, that's a good score Wow, and it beats the K 20 pro with that snapdragon and the P30 Pro is lagging behind notice that the mate 30 Pro did get a bigger score overall, but the K 20 pro with the Snapdragon, does still get a better GPU score than the new Karin 990. The CPU on the Kiran chipset, though, is really powerful, and it's definitely a big step up from the Kiran 990 in the an tutu benchmark. Anyway.

Now let's go through and do the RAM test, so I'm going to open a list of apps. Some of them are very light and daily use type of apps and then go through and open a bunch of games, including pub G and some other very heavy games on the system. Then I want to go back through all the apps and see if the phones keep all the apps in memory or if they need to be reloaded. The first game was loaded, no problem in all the phones going back through to pub G again, that's still in memory going through to HQ music, a very light app again in memory then through to subway, surfers again in memory, then through to Taobao the shopping app. It's been kept in memory and, lastly Weibo which is like Instagram it's in memory or all of the phones, so that extra two gigabytes doesn't really matter in this test.

Does the mate 30 pro offers quicker, unlocking times than the previous generation, from what I found? No, they were pretty much exactly the same whenever I pressed them, so I'm, assuming they have the same hardware under there compared to the k20, Pro I would say the mate 30 Pro is a little quicker most of the time, but there's very little in it. How about face ID, because the mate 30 Pro offers 3d face, unlocking, whereas the P30 Pro just takes a picture and well the mate 30 Pro is really quick, even considering how secure it is. That's 3d face on looking compared to just the 2d picture on the P30 Pro, that's pretty impressive! So yes, a big upgrade in the processor department and fast face, unlocking ? and obviously upgrades all around in the design area for the mate 30 probes subscribe. If you want to see more speed tests, that's it for now, but I'll see you in the next one.
