Huawei Mate 20 Pro VS Samsung Note 9 - Camera Comparison

What's happening everyone, my name is Alex and welcome. Back today we have a new camera comparison between the best form that Samsung ever made, the Samsung Galaxy note 9 and the best phone that were we ever made the mate 20 Pro, so throw this video. We are gonna check out some daytime pictures, and that also includes a couple of portrait mode pictures after that we're going to move on and check out some nighttime pictures after those, and we'll check out some sample videos and at the end, you can check out some selfies with the Samsung Galaxy note: 2 9 we get two cameras on the back. The main camera is a 12 megapixel sensor that has a variable aperture, so it can either be F, 1.5 or F 2.4, and this lens has an optical image stabilization and the second lens is another 12 megapixel sensor, the F 2.4, and this lens is used for optical zoom, so 2 times, optical zoom and of course we have optical image stabilization for this lens as well. Moving on to the wall, we made 20 prone on the back of this one. We have three cameras, so the main camera is a 40 megapixel sensor.

The F 1.8 ii lens is a 20 megapixel sensor, the f 2.0, and this is an ultra-wide lens and the last camera is 8 megapixel sensor, the f 2.4 m. This is a telephoto lens and put optical image stabilization as a quick disclaimer. All the pictures that you are about to see you're, taking on auto mode on and about a second apart from each other, so both devices did as good as they could possibly do by themselves, and we're gonna start with some daytime pictures. First for portrait mode pictures, the edge detection is good for both devices, but on all the pictures taken by the note, 9 do look a bit better because they're brighter, so they're properly exposed with the pictures taken by the mate 20 Pro. Aren't that well exposed moving on to regular looking pictures and well.

First, the colors for the pictures taken by the mate 20 prong look closer to reality, and we see some more saturated colors and for the pictures taken by the note 9. So personally, I do prefer the colors from the mate 20 proof, as for the dynamic range will in some pictures, it's better for all month. The mate 20 Pro and some pictures are better from the note 9. So I can't really say that one is better than the other one. As for the picture sharpness, if you start zooming in on those pictures, you may notice that the pictures taken by the note 9 are a bit sharper, but just a bit sharper, and I guess I'll.

Let you guys watch a few more pictures and definitely let me know in the comments down below on which phone you prefer for daytime pictures ever moving on to nighttime pictures. So for nighttime pictures I feel that every single picture that I took to the wall we made 20 Pro looks better than the pictures that I took ooh. The note 9, because the note mine makes all the pictures look very yellow, and the colors are more accurate from them. While we May 20 Pro and the pictures also seem sharper from the war. We made 20 Pro and keep in mind that why we made 20 Pro has a night mode as well, but I didn't actually use the night mode for any of those pictures.

So, let's check out those pictures, and we're moving on to video recordings well for video recordings, I feel that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 does a better job for pretty much everything. The sound quality from those videos is better. The image stabilization from the video recordings from the node 9 is better, and the colors are also better from the note 9 so for video recordings. I feel that the note 9 is the winner, but at least eight of those videos. This is a quick video test between the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the whoa we made 20 Pro, so I'm currently recording in 4k at 30 frames per second, and at this resolution we have an image stabilization for both devices.

Now there isn't that much wind, so you should only be able to hear my voice so under these conditions, so, basically walking and holding the phone's. In my hand, this is how a 4k recording app would look like. We have another quick video recording between the wall we made 20 pro and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, once again, I'm recording in 4k at 30 frames per second, and, as I said before this resolution, we have on image stabilization as well for both devices. So these conditions- this is how recording from these two devices would look like. This is a quick video test between the wall we made 20 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, as you can probably see it's a fairly dark around here, and I'm.

Also working on. We are also recording in 4k 30 frames per second, and the image stabilization should be on for both devices at this resolution. So under these conditions, this is how I'm recording from these two devices would look like and, lastly, for selfies well, they're, both pretty bad and I, don't like any of them for taking selfies. If you don't take selfies, you might as well just buy the pixel 3, because these two aren't that great for selfies and, of course these are some selfies that I took both these devices. So, to conclude, this video I think I prefer the wall we made 20 pro 4 pictures and the note 9 for videos, but definitely let me know in the comments down below, if you prefer this one or this one because well, none of them is totally perfect, because I wish I could get some features from this one and some features from this and put them all together in one form, because with this one we have up to five times optical zoom.

We also have that ultra-wide lens and so on. So definitely a lot of features that I haven't even mentioned in this video. So definitely let me know in the comments down below what phone you prefer. Alright guys hopefully enjoyed this video. If you did like it, um press that, like button, don't forget, subscribe, and I'll see you in the next one thanks for watching.
