HTC U11 versus GH4: camera shootout

In, my last video I compared the camera quality of the HTC. U 11 against that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and HTC's new device showed that it could hold its own when going up against the best that Samsung has to offer so, rather than comparing it to yet another smartphone I thought it would be interesting to see how the U 11 holds up when going head-to-head with a Panasonic gh4. Now these two devices are dramatically different, but you may be surprised at the results. Take a look in nearly every shot. The HIT you 11 managed to deliver a picture that was more vibrant and colorful than the gh4, but that doesn't mean it's a better camera. The gh4, like other micro, four-thirds or even DSLR, are tuned to capture a lot more detail without the high contrast and saturation levels that you see from smartphones since photographers tend to edit their pictures on their computer to get that perfect shot.

The u11, on the other hand, tries to take care of that for you automatically, but where it's clearly obvious that the gh4 is better than low light performance, offering a lot more clarity and dynamic range than the HTC. U 11 could achieve even a manual mode if I have a choice. I'll always take my Panasonic gh4 with me whenever I know, I'm going out to take pictures, but if you don't already own a cheaper, dedicated camera or aren't willing to put in the time to edit those photos. Devices like that HTC u11 or even the Samsung Galaxy S8 are definitely good enough to act as a main camera. If you want to see how the HIT, u xi camera, compares to the Samsung Galaxy S8 I've got a link for you right up here, thanks for watching.
