How to Make Samsung Galaxy J2 Faster! (No need to install anything)

Hi everyone- this is Kevin breeze here and in this video we're going to go over how to make the Samsung Galaxy j2 faster. So let's get started so the first thing you're going to want to do is to pull down the shade here, tap on the gear in the corner and then from there you're going to scroll all the way down to about phone, then from there you're going to tap on software information, and then, when you see the build number you're going to tap on the build number about four or five times, and after you do that you activate developer options, then go back, go back again, and you'll see a new option here on the bottom on the main settings page, that's called developer options so tap on that and then scroll down. Until you see the animation settings, and you can see, we have three different animation settings, so we have window animation, scale, transition, animation, scale and animator duration scale. So this is pretty cool because you can change these and essentially speed up or if you want to slow down the animations on the device. So Samsung is kind of notorious for having long animations, so really shortening the animations to like 0.5 or off will really speed things up and make the experience better. So, let's first try animations at 0.5 X, so we'll switch all of these to 0.5 X and you can see just getting around the device. It's already quicker, there are less animations here, everything's a lot faster and just makes the experience better.

In my opinion, you know you can start the messages you can start up. The camera start up, chrome here and there's way less delay. Now, if you want to, you can go back to the settings, and you can turn animations completely off, so tap on that again set animations to off and there won't be any animations anymore. So you can see this is super quick. You know, there's no delay at all when starting up these different applications, everything just starts up instantly, which is great to see.

So if you think that's going to improve your experience here, and I definitely think it can, then you might want to try this trick for yourself now for personally I do kind of like to have animations. Of course, I think the original animation speed is a little too slow, but on the other hand, I still want to have some, so I think point: 5x is the sweet spot here, so you can easily set these all to 0.5, X and you'll be good to go now. If you want to you, can experiment and see how things run when this device is at its slowest speed, which is 10x animations, and you can see. This is just ridiculous. Put it on 10x I mean I, don't know who would want animations to be that slow I mean it's not practical by any means, it's more of a gimmick than anything else, but you can just see every little function here of the device is just so slow, and the animations are really moving at a snail's pace.

So, if that's something that you think you'd like to go ahead and do it, but I don't see how anyone would want to have animations, be that slow in their device like I, said I, think point 5x is the sweet spot and that's personally what I'm going to be using with the Samsung Galaxy j2, so we'll set all those to 0.5, X and we'll set the animation duration scale to 0.5, X and perfect. Things are nice and quick. Now I can pretty much fly around the device and there's really no delays here. So I hope you enjoyed this video about how to make the Samsung Galaxy j2 for metro by T-Mobile faster.
