What's going on average tech guy here, and today we are back with more tech and more reviews, and this time we're going to be checking out some gaming on your iPad Air 4th gen. So let's check it out. So, when gaming on my iPad, I'm normally using either my 8bitdo controller or my Xbox controller. Now the cool thing about using your Xbox controller is that all these buttons basically correlate over into the Apple Arcade games and some of the other games that I like one of my favorites, is asphalt.9 and the racing and handling on the Xbox controller is an awesome, awesome feeling and when you're playing. Basically, you just get immersed into the game. Now there are no rumble features when you crash into things, but you still get the same great visuals that you would on the iPad Pro and I don't really see a lot of issues when you're playing this game.
It's still fluid the graphics, still flow, really well and everything lines up and sound is perfect. With the new speakers that the iPad Air has on it. Now, if you know I've been playing on iPad Pro for as long as iPad Pro has been here and iPad Pro actually has that 120 hertz refresh rate on it, but I haven't noticed a difference really in the 60h refresh rate on this device right here. The iPad Air delivers a smooth, uh, well-balanced view of the game, and it also handles the graphics really well on these games, as well as handling the input of the Xbox controller. Now I will say that one of the best controllers I have is this one, but I do use my 8-bit dough from time to time and this one is a great controller in its own respects.
Now it's very small, very slim and very portable, and it is actually Bluetooth compatible, and it has USB type-c built right into it. So you can use this with any of those games on Apple Arcade and as well as one of my favorite games, which is asphalt, 9, which I'm about to give you a little demo of right now, it's so gaming on this device is hands down. One of the best experiences that I've had on a tablet other than the iPad Pro 12.9, which they're basically the same. The graphics are the same. The handles are the same and everything feels and looks good uh.
I can't deny it so. This is a great device for gaming, and you can actually use your Xbox controller as well as third-party controllers. Now I do have the 8-bit doe light here and if you guys have any other controllers that you may want me to try out such as PlayStation controllers or any other Nintendo controllers drop a comment below, and I'll go by and check those out and just to let you know if they are going to work, or they're going to be good for your system or not so hopefully, this has been able to help. Someone out. You can use that Xbox controller.
Make sure it's one of the later models, though with no separation right here at the x. So it has to be the later model and that's pretty much it until next time be sure and give me that big thumbs up, and please subscribe. Average tech guy out peace.
