Google Pixel 5 Camera Tips and Tricks with 4 stabilization modes that your phone can't do

There are many reasons to go out and get the Google Pixel 5. It's got a 6-inch display 4 000 William hour battery wireless charging, 8 gigs of ram 128 gigs of storage, water resistance, no headphone jack, but it does have that glorious fingerprint sensor on the back, which I love, but the one thing that's synonymous with Google's pixel range of phones is that beautiful camera. So having spent some time with the pixel 5 here are five features. You must try out when you get your pixel 5. Okay, let's do this and welcome to another episode of talking tech with the tech guy. My name is Leon Negev, where I make tech simple if you're into phones, gadget, apps tips and tricks on how to hit that subscribe button, and let's get on to today's show we love to shoot videos on our phones, be it for capturing the ROG as you take it, for a walk, could be it a family day out or using it for full on social media campaigns, tick, took and Instagram, reels, etc.

Okay, quick um, vlogging test or quick front-facing camera test walking around. Let's see what the stability is like, let's see what the audio is like, so us at the park here, that's what we're doing right. This is the rear facing camera, and now we're going towards the car after a little day at the park, let's see how the stabilization is and what the audio sounds like now. Video stabilization has come a very long way, but the pixel 5 does take it up. A few more notches were the four image stabilization options, so the default one is light movement, that's the kind we used to seeing on pretty much many of the phones that are out there these days, but the second one is called the locked.

This is when an object is that far away, you lock in your stabilization, and you can even snap a picture now. You've got something called except stabilization. This is when you got seriously heavy movement, and we have cinematic pan and now this is for those smooth, panning shots where you're going to add on this amazing inspirational music. On the background, making your video look insane if you're, not a pro videographer or a pro photographer, you might not know what you should set your slow motion to be when capturing fast movements. You might not know what speed you should set your time lapse to be to capture sunsets.

Don't worry! The pixel 5 has got you. It's got these amazing little tooltips that pop up above each option. That tells you what to choose for each scene that you try to capture. What I also like is that the options are right there on the screen. You no longer have to hunt for them.

In the more section you don't have to pull anything down. Everything is right. Low light destroys photos. We know that when there isn't enough light, those photos come out with like a big blur. So what's the point now most phones come with low light settings.

The pixel 5 has got something called night sight. If the photo you want to take just doesn't have enough light. The icon actually automatically changes it to knights mode and then giving you better opportunity to take that photo, but wait. There is more. The pixel 5 has Castro photography mode, so I know this looks like a ghost story, but what I'm actually doing is trying out the night sight, but also the Castro photography feature that's built in to the pixel 5.

Yep. You heard that right. If you want to take photos of the beautiful night sky, and it's pitch black, it will automatically enable this mode and set a counter on the screen over the next few minutes. It will continuously adjust the light to take these amazing glorious photos. Now I tried this in my backyard.

It wasn't dark enough due to light pollution, but I still managed to capture those pretty links and nuts guy. You must enable motion photos. What this does. It takes a bunch of photos in rapid succession. As you scroll through the little timeline, you can pick up the photos that capture the scene the best now this is super handy, especially when taking photos of kids or animals who don't like to pose for too long.

This is a great opportunity now. Another thing that's kind of related to that is called frequent faces. It also has a feature that capture multiple photos at the same time and allowing you to scroll back and forth on that timeline, so you can find the ideal photo when everybody's eyes are open and everyone's looking at that screen right, you snapped your photo. What do you want to do with it? You want to share it so right there at your fingertips, you swipe up, and you can share it right there from the photo screen. You can select up to three apps.

I choose WhatsApp for family photos, Instagram and Twitter. That's where I share most of my photography when you shoot a video in an environment that has lots of background music and lots of background noise. Well, it can drown you out. The pixel 5 has audio zoom when you enable that what it does is focus the audio on you and reduces the background noise. Now, there's many more features to explore within the camera and within the pixel 5.

Let me know if you want to see more details on that pixel 5 check out more phone tips and tricks down here hit the head below to subscribe. If this is your first time here, give the video a thumbs up, if you liked it, and I'll see you in those videos, let's go.
