Google Pixel 4a Vs Samsung Galaxy S10e BATTERY LIFE!

Welcome back everyone. I did a little of a battery test between the Samsung Galaxy s10e and the Pixel 4a, and surprisingly, I've found some fascinating things between these two. So the way I set it up is pretty much how I set it up before. I seem to get the most amount of positive feedback from this specific setup from previous one. So, basically, what I do is I set my pixel 4 and s10 all the way up to 100 battery and then right after that, I just let them die out pretty much by using them. I use the exact same things.

At the same time, I have a timer next to them too, so I can kind of see how long they last and so, when I first booted them up. You know I just load up some random things like videos and tick, rocks and stuff like that to kind of get it just sometimes I do let them just kind of sit idle for a while, just to kind of you know just let them die out, because I try to kill them as fast as possible. To be honest, so about 43 minutes into the test, I saw that the Galaxy S10e was around 91, where the Pixel 4a was at 95. So from that first glance I was like all right: the pixel 4. I may actually have better battery life than the s10e, which is kind of what I expected from the beginning with, and then I let some more time pass.

I played some more games. Furthermore, I did some other stuff and about an hour and a half in, I saw that the Galaxy S10 e was at 81 and the Pixel 4a was at 84. So still you know there was a little less of a difference from this time. The first one, but still you know the pixel 4 had better battery life and mind you I'm doing the exact same things on both devices. If I open a video on one, I'm doing the exact same thing on the other one to make sure they die evenly and then a little more time passes about 2 hours and 17 minutes in.

I thought the Galaxy S10e was at 76, but the Pixel 4a was also at 76 percent, and this was something that was fascinating to me. So it looked like the s10e was going to die out faster than Pixel 4a, but that was actually not the case so far they were even which was really, really weird. I did not understand that and then about an hour after that. This was something that was really weird. The Galaxy S10 was at 66 percent, where the pixel 4 he was at 63 percent, so the Pixel 4a actually went down in battery life and I monitored them at the exact same times I looked at them.

I made sure one didn't die out or anything like the screen didn't flicker off. I was next to them the whole time and that's basically what happened. That was actually astounding how a phone from beginning with kind of looked to be better, but the other ones seem to be overtaking it in a way which is really weird and so about that four hour, 40 minute mark. Whatever minute it was, you guys can see it on the screen. I saw that the Galaxy S10 was at 48, the Pixel 4a was at 41, so an even bigger difference.

So it seemed to me that as more time progresses, the Pixel 4a would probably end up being there. There would be more of a difference between both phones. If you know what I mean, and then I eventually ended the comparison about an hour after hour to remember how long it was, but basically the Galaxy S10 was at 31. The pixel Fourier was at 23, and I could have kept it going, but I already kind of knew what was going to happen. The Galaxy S10 was probably going to outlast the Pixel 4a and, like I said I didn't just let them sit idle.

I played games. I ran tons of benchmarks on them. In the meantime, I was watching videos. I was doing tech talks. I was doing all sorts of stuff and I did them evenly on both.

What's weird, though, is that in the beginning, with the Galaxy S10 seemed to be losing faster than the Pixel 4a, but that ended up not being the case, at least in the outcome, and what's weird, though, is that with the Galaxy S10, it's actually the older phone first, but second of all it has the older battery. You know the battery is degraded a little on my s10 by a little and the battery sizes on both are pretty even so. It was weird that I was getting better battery life from a Galaxy S10e than the Pixel 4a. So in terms of that, what I can tell you are, in my experience from testing these two, my battery life on my Samsung Galaxy s10 was better than my battery life on the Pixel 4a. Now how much of a difference was it? I would say, there's about maybe like a 10 difference between these two.

So if I let these two die out, while the pixel 4 was completely dead, I would still have about 10 battery life on my Galaxy S10e. So kind of keep that in mind whether that's a big deal to you or not, that's up to you, but that's really pretty much it if you guys have any other questions or anything.
