Google Pixel 4a in India Unboxing Overview & First Look By Geekyranjit

Hi guys this is transit and in this video let's do the unboxing and have a first look at this Pixel 4a smartphone- and this is a smartphone by google and guys I'm starting to say that the pixel 5, which is the flagship, will not be launching in India. So this is the only pixel that will be launching here officially in India, and we get it only in one variant. That is the 6 gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of storage, and this is priced in India. The regular price is 32.000 will be available on Flipkart, but as of now, the pricing is about 30 000, again I'll leave the details in the description below, and some of you were expecting a more aggressive pricing, but to be fair, I was not expecting. This is a phone by google guys like apple, and if you recall the pixel 4 a way priced at almost 39 000, so I feel yes, they did a decent price, and obviously it's a phone by google. So you can't expect the Chinese for phone pricing, like some people were expecting so anyways.

Let's have a closer look at this one uh just say steam pixel over here photograph over here. This is a single camera, but we know pixel due to that computation. Photography produces some very good pictures. So let's see how it does so, let's cut the seal on this. One has a bunch of specs and this is part by the snapdragon 730g guys.

So actually you can open it without the knife or anything, that's nice. So let's open this up. So that's what we have. You have nothing over here so here it is just the g logo over here and the phone comes out, and it's a pretty compact phone uh. We don't have a XL or anything like what we had last year.

So we just have this one, and this is having a 5.81-inch OLED screen and if you notice just a single camera. This is the flash physical fingerprint scanner. Google logo over here, so pretty compact. So if you are expecting a big Excel size for no only one size, uh anyways um here this comes out a lot of people work. In fact, uh yeah, your sim ejector tool, is over here and basic guide and all these things how to put this in and all these things.

Ah, we do get an adapter, so this is actually nice uh, so USB type c to USB type, an adapter. So most vendors are not giving this. So you have that and an USB type c cable type c. So this will be a power delivery charger. That means uh, and this is actually an 18 watt charger.

As you can see, this is also USB type c, so nice to see that we are having a power delivery charger on this one. So let me just keep these things to the side for now and let's look at the handset itself- and this is also supposed to have stereo speakers, so we'll also look at that and again man. How compact this is. This fits because we're so used to 6.5 6.7 6.8-inch screens these days. This is a 5.8 5.81 inch and on the top we have a headphone jack. So that's nice, secondary noise cancellation, microphone and just the power button volume rockers that we are having uh bottom will be the vent for the speaker, type c port and our sim tray is going to be over here again guys.

This will have one. What do you say? Physical, sim and the second sim is actually ENIM. So, as you can see just one slot for your sim card and no expansion also, so the storage is not what you get 128 gigabytes, there's not even a variant of 256 gigabyte or anything. So that's what we have one variant, google says: take it or leave it anyways, let's just power this on, and again you buy the Google phones for the stock, android experience software and the camera. So by the time it actually boots up- and I set it up here- is a configuration overview.

This Google Pixel 4a is having a 5.81-inch OLED screen, that's a full HD plus screen. It's probably about gorilla glass, 3. , it's powered by the snapdragon 730 g outscore processor. It comes with six gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of storage uh. Furthermore, it has a single camera.

That's a 12.2 megapixel with f 1.7 and has optical image. Stabilization uh. The front facing camera is eight megapixels. It also has stereo speakers and a 3140 William hour battery, so guys I've already set up this uh phone. So let's have a closer look at this and again, I have to say how compact this is: 5.8 inches and again, a pure Google android experience so again, guys apart from Google, specific apps, no bloatware or anything as you can see. This is what is installed so no adware crap! No, nothing like that.

That's why you get a pixel for that pure android experience without the bloat and uh guys. This is already uh running on android 11. That's the latest version of android uh! If I go over here, Pixel 4a, it's already on android 11, as you can see, and uh September update. In fact, I already go tot update. I denied it and if I open it a couple of times, we should get the android level yeah, as you can see it's running on android 11.

Uh. So that's what we have. Let me just uh: go back and uh it's running on the snapdragon 730 g soc, but because it is having stock, android or anything, I did not notice any bagginess or anything as of now guys. Let's look at the storage because that's important and, as you can see it's showing that we have 113 gigabytes of space available, I haven't installed anything. So this is what the storage you can expect, but again guys no expansion of storage or even another variant available, so 113 gigabytes is what will be available to you out of the box uh.

So, let's just go back and let's look at the fingerprint scanner on this one. It's over here, the physical and, as you can see it unlocks quickly gives actually a slight haptic feedback. Let's also look at the speaker on this one, I'm also curious uh, so we have YouTube premium. So no, thanks I'll. Just let's just play back one of my own videos.

Let's have a look at this new television from Nokia. In fact, Nokia has launched a range of smart television, so sound is coming from here and even here this is actually the 4k and at the maximum volume it's vibrating slightly. But I would say, the volume output is good and happy to see that we have that stereo speakers on this one um. So what else? Again? It's a pixel smartphone. So again it's the software experience guys.

But now, let's look at the most interesting thing on a pixel smartphone that is the camera and, as I've mentioned only is one camera at the back, 12.2 megapixel and 8 megapixel front facing camera. That's it no ultra-wide or anything. I wish it had the ultra-wide, but yeah that's what we have. But let's look at the camera, and I'm gonna. I love it.

I love it when it's open. So this is the interface we have very simple interface. Let's bring this android box over here, and we also have night sight. We do have Zoom guys. This is digital zoom, but they say they do it intelligently so that you can get some good results.

We look at that sample, so you can adjust the exposure and all those things also from here directly. As you can see, you can do all that and if I go over here, we also have the portrait mode, though it has a single camera, as you can see real time, it's showing us that portrait effect uh, and also it has night sight again and night. It takes actually perfect samples. I'll include some of them in my full review. We have the video mode, and it can record up to 4k guys.

So that's what we have and Google Lens. Obviously we have and let's look at the front facing it's just eight megapixels, but it's very, very wide if you notice- and we do have to portrait more also here with the same. So let me do one thing: let me actually take some sample shots with this one so that you get a better idea regarding the camera. So here are the samples taken with the rear facing camera, and the thing I noticed is that it looks very natural, there's, no over boosting or colors or extra sharpness pictures how they look in real life. It's produced like that, as you can see, with these uh sample shot.

This is 1x, and this is that uh 2x zoom. Then this was that 5x zoom and this was 7x again don't go over, I would say 5x, and these were taken in completely artificial lighting in my office, and here I would say, this camera really shines just notice. The pictures, though it was completely artificial lighting. It did a good job now moving to artificial lighting again with human subjects. These are the samples taken in my office, and here I enable the portrait poke mode with the same, and these were taken with the front-facing camera of the pixel, and here I enabled again the portrait both mode so guys, that's it for now for the unboxing and first look at this pixel for a smartphone.
