Google Pixel 4 XL Vs OnePlus 7 Pro! (Comparison) (Review)

What's up everyone welcome back to the channel, so another Google Pixel for Excel comparison. I'm going to be pumping these things out, like crazy I, have a lot to say, and I know how much time, so we're going to get right into it, and the Google Pixel for Excel. As you guys know, just came out. It's still in the announcement phase. Google actually sent this one out to me. So that's really nice to them, but I.

Don't think they're going to send me out anymore, like I, said because, because I've been kind of dissing, the pixel fork, so I'm, acting as if I bought it with my own money. So even though they sent it to me all my opinions are completely true. I mean they're, not sponsoring any things. I was gonna, buy it anyway. Something like I might as well get from that for free.

We already secured the bag, so we're good. Now I'm going to be comparing it to the 1 plus 7 Pro. Now the 7 Pro has been out since May of this year. So it's really not even that old. We already have the 1 plus 70 Pro out, which is a small refresh.

It's really not that big of a difference between this and the 70 Pro, which is the successor. However, there's a really cool thing that both of these phones have that, and it's time we release was one of the biggest selling points of both of these phones and, like I, said we're seeing it now with the pixel for Excel, but I'll get into that in a second. But looking at the front, you can see pretty big displays on both, but the 1 + 7 Pro looks kind of better. In my opinion, with a six point, three inch Leola display that one is 1440p on the pixel for Excel, but we do have a six point. Six seven inch fluid M OLED display that one is 1440p as well on the 1 + 7 Pro, the pixels per inch are actually higher on the Google Pixel for Excel, but in my opinion, I kind of like the 1 + 7 pros display a little more I.

Think it's something about how the screen kind of bleeds to the sides a little on the 1 + 7 Pro makes it a little cooler in my opinion and when you're holding it is just kind of feels like a, don't know like a more premium device or a thinner device of that. So that's kind of a cool thing right there and looking at the bottom, we have USB type-c ports on both the rest of the phones are pretty similar. But looking on the back, you can see. One of the biggest differences is obviously the way the cameras are set up, but also the amount of camera sensors. So we have three camera sensors on the 1 + 7 Pro, where we have two camera sensors on the Google Pixel for Excel, so I'll get into the cameras in a second, and I'll, make a whole separate video talking about the camera setups.

But that's a pretty crazy thing. In my opinion, now, glass on the back of the 7 Pro, some type of matte finished for Excel back out of what it is, and maybe it's glass. Maybe it's a make sure, but it feels more like a matte finish. I think it feels perfect, though my opinion, but the 7 Pro definitely feels more premium at that and looking back at the front, I mean one of the funniest things is: is that the 7 Pro obviously doesn't have that much bezel on the back or on the front for that matter. There's no camera hole.

No nothing! You guys probably know a motorized front camera sensor where the for Excel has that camera sensor there permanently I, don't know which one is better. I mean the one put 7 probably looks better, but I wish that camera sensor was just there all the time. So not a big deal. It's not like I'm gonna, go switch with phones or anything, but I do like the 7 pros, a look, but I like the 4 excels. You know, practicality, also, the biggest thing and one of the advantages that both of these phones have that I mentioned earlier in this video is that both of them have 90 Hertz refresh rates on their screens.

So you can get that super full web display fluid display on both of these phones and that's a super amazing thing. That's one of the coolest features ever, and I think someday we'll probably get 120 Hertz, we've already seen on a couple of phones, but even ninety Hertz is really nice, and it makes a pretty big difference when you're using a phone. It just looks so much better. In my opinion, it doesn't add. Functionality doesn't really do anything.

It just looks better, but when you're looking at a phone and when that's something you look at all day, I mean that's a really cool thing, in my opinion, so between those that's a super cool feature that both of them have, and I think that's a huge selling point for both of them now looking at the software. This is one of the biggest advantages, in my opinion, for both of these phones, so the OnePlus 7 pro started off with Android Pi right now there are some apparently software versions of Android 10 right now, for it, the 1, +, 6, +, 16, just got Android, 10, and I'm pretty sure enjoy.10 is official for the 1 + 7 Pro on the Google pencil for Excel, obviously, Android 1000 just came for it and in terms of the software updates, I'm, pretty sure the pixel for Excel might outlast the 1 + 7 Pro, but what I will tell you are that you know these are Android phones. These are very popular phones at that. So there's going to be a lot of routes out for this thing, there's going to be a lot of custom ROMs out for this thing. So, whichever way you go at it, even if both of these phones, or you know outside their software's life cycle, you can easily still go and custom run it and be set.

But maybe do you want post 7 Pro might not last as long as a pixel for Excel, but I don't think it's going to be by much, but what I will tell you was in terms of the software. Both of these are pretty stock in it. You know there's really not that much no difference between the software, but what I will tell you is that I always prefer oxygen. Os, / stock, Android I feel like oxygen. Os is like the best software when it comes to Android.

In my opinion, OnePlus is not telling me it is not suspending me any money or paying me any money to say this. I personally, do like it after owning I. Think every single one plus phone there OS has been super, super good. I love every single version of that OS, because it's just like stock Android, but with more features, and I've always found to be perfect, I've, always loved it even from like their signage. In my days, their oxygen OS is very good in my opinion, but stock Android, you know, I was just like the bare bones of it.

Just oxygen. Plaster's brings a couple more features on top of it, which I really do like, so that pretty much covers up the software side. Let's go and talk about the performance between these now the OnePlus 7 pro you know they both have call comes to have drama 855 chipsets, both that bout, two core CPUs both have a Juno 640 GPUs, but this is where the difference is kind of lie and I will kind of you know I kind of have some beef with Google for doing this, so the OnePlus 7 pro has a six gigabyte version of ram eight gigabyte versions of ram and twelve gigabyte versions of ram models where the Google pistol for Excel only has a six gigabyte RAM model. That's all they have. However, the storage variants on these phones are completely different, so the pixel for excels, starting storage is 64 there.

Mac storage is 128, there's only two models of the pixel for Excel, where there are three models or the seven Pro, but the base model storage is 128 gigs, so the base model of the Campus semi pro is already higher than the top tier model of the pixel for Excel, which is insane and that's a humongous, swaying, point and selling point further, one plus seven pro, let alone the RAM. Let alone everything else, I mean I, don't understand why phone manufacturers like iPhone and like Apple and Google with the pixel for Excel, make a 64 gigabyte version that makes no sense at all the OnePlus 7 pro. That's another humongous selling point for that phone that base storage model is just superior to you know, even the pixel for Excel and even 128 isn't even that much that's why it's the base storage for the sever pro, but for the pixel for Excel it maxes out at 128, which is insane now in terms of the performance. Okay, I will probably say: there's not going to be that much difference in terms of the performance. I think both of these phones are going to be very good and performing the OnePlus 7 pro very, very fast.

I love that phone when I'm using it is feels extremely fast. The pixel for Excel is going to be more the same. It's going to be an extremely fast device as well and I. Don't think you're going to notice that much of a difference you if there was a little of a difference, I, don't think you'd be able to notice, because both of these phones are already so fast. Maybe one phone might be slightly faster than the other, but the specs are almost exactly the same on both of them and for me using him for me, whatever I had to do anything with these phones, they were very, very fast.

So without a doubt, I'll definitely tell you performance, wise you're, not going to find that much of a difference between them, but I will say that that's doors very anything which just doesn't really have much to do with the performance. That's kind of where the differentiating factor is. You know, depending on whether you get the base model with a six keg of RAM option, then you're going to be pretty much same with the one plus seven Pro and the Google Pixel for Excel. But if you get that tattoo you're 12 CAG option, then that's going to be a better phone and performance overall and the Google Pixel for Excel. You know you'll have twice the amount of RAM, so pretty important thing right there and that's pretty much where I'm ending performance now in terms of the actual camera quality.

I'm, probably gonna, make a separate video talking about it, but I can run through my opinion right now. Three camera sensors on the one per center Pro 48 megapixel, wide-angle lens and 8 megapixel telephoto lens and a 16 megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The Google Pixel for Excel has a 12 point: two megapixel wide-angle lens and a 16 megapixel telephoto lens now, even if and I do believe that the quality is better on the pixel for Excel I feel like the pixel for Excel, takes very, very good quality photos. But the fact of the matter is that, for some reason, Google has still not opted in for 4k at 60 frames per second, where even a phone that sells, for you know way less than the pixel for Excel brand-new can still do 4k 60 frames, the 1 plus 7 pro can do 4k 60 frames per second, where the Google Pixel for Excel cannot do that which is insane in this day and age. We need phones to be able to do at least something you know like some 4k s, 60 frames in any way, the matter even if the front cameras can't do it at least the back cameras.

That's the way of the future me personally, I, don't even use 4k like I. Don't even shoot these videos 4k. All my videos are intended to DP across the board, but it's like I want that ability, where, in the future, I don't have to go, buy a whole separate phone to do that. My phone right now is equipped with it and I. Don't know I, don't know what Google is thinking with that they pride themselves for their camera quality all the time, but the camera resolutions are the same from as the Google Pixel, so like the original one.

So, in my opinion, even though the Google picks before Excel takes the better quality photos, the sheer features, what the ultra-wide sensor added in with for k60, makes the OnePlus 7 pro a better camerae. In my opinion, in terms of the front camera, the Campus 7 pro has that motorized camera 16 megapixels 8, megapixel, Google Pixel for Excel, and not a huge difference. I, don't think I mean the one post.7 Pro is definitely more novelty in my opinion, but both are perfectly fine, but in terms of the overall cameras, 1 +, 7, Pro I think is the better one. In my opinion, now ending it off with the battery life again I mean I would probably give the edge to the 1 + 7 pro. We have a four thousand nine-hour battery on the Campus mm pro, but at 3,700 nine-hour battery on the Google thing so for Excel.

So in terms of battery life- and you know using it throughout the day- whatever the one puts ever Pro I think has a better battery life. But what I will say is that the Google Pixel for Excel has a wireless charging which, in my opinion, should be a go-to for every single phone. The fact that 7 pro doesn't have it is insane, so I'll probably give the edge to the Google Pixel for Excel at that, even though the OnePlus semi pro has a better battery life. That phone has wireless charging, which is such a huge plus, and it's like every phone has wireless charging nowadays in her means, let's get crazy now. Another thing I want to hit on before I end this off and tell you, which one I think is better.

The OnePlus 7 pro does have a screen built-in fingerprint sensor within the screen, which is pretty important and a pretty big thing. The Google Pixel for Excel has no fingerprint sensor. Nothing like that and that's a face ID, which is okay, so I'm going to face ID at schools. Version of face Eddie, the OnePlus 7 pro- has faced on lock features as well, but I really wouldn't recommend it and I think that's a pretty big advantage for the 7 pro you have both of those options with the pixel for Excel only has one of those options and to kind of sum up this whole entire thing do, to be honest, the OnePlus 7 pro I think is the better not only the better phone, but also the better value per dollar. In my opinion, now, of course, you're giving up a couple of things, software support might not be as long in the 7 Pro wireless charging.

That might be a big deal to you, and maybe some other things here and there that I kind of sprinkled out throughout this video, but I think the 7 Pro just is the better phone overall, and it's a cheaper phone right now too. But on top of that, you can pick up a 7 Pro in the used market for a super cheap, probably like $500, probably even less than that, which is a very, very good deal in my opinion. So what I can tell you are the Google Pixel for Excel I. Think is a good phone I think it's like! Maybe like a $6.99 phone, maybe like 4, it's fine like a $6.99 phone. At the end of the day, the 7 Pro is such a good value and the fact that you can pick it up for way less is such a good deal in my opinion, so that's pretty much.

What I'm going to leave it at. If you want to pick up a 7, Pro I'll leave links down in the description where you can pick it up at, but the cheapest prices, so you can help support the channel at the same time.
