Google Pixel 4 XL Unboxing and Overview - The Best Pixel yet!

What's going on guys today we're going to be taking a look at the all-new Google Pixel for Excel. Now in this video I'm, just going to do a quick, unboxing, and then we're going to go over the specs, and I'll give you my initial impressions on it. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to do a full review on this phone just yet, but if you stick around on the channel in the next two days, I will have something posted up, plus it'll. Give me a couple of days to spend with the phone and see how it really performs. So I was lucky enough to receive an early unit, and I'm actually really excited about this because. This is my first official Google Pixel device I have an own one in the past, but I have owned tons of Android devices.

If you watch my channel I do a lot of reviews on these phones, but when this was announced, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I was also lucky enough to get a hold of one of the cases here. This is called. Could it be coral? That's the color of this, and it's more of a peach in my opinion, and I'm, actually not sure which color phone I received, so we're about to find out right now the pixel 4 devices do come pre-loaded with Android 10, previously known as Android, Q and I kind of wish. They would have kept that naming convention, but I guess Android 10 might stick, and it looks like I got the So Orange version, which is actually the one I would have chosen anyway, very beautiful color.

Here to me, it's more of a peach color, but I might be a little colorblind here. They also offer a just black and a clearly white version, but the So Orange is the best-looking one. In my opinion, now don't get me wrong. All the colors look great with the pixel 4 or the Pixel 4 XL, but I think this one really pops. So, besides the extra fabric case here inside this box, you're, obviously going to receive either the pixel 4 or the pixel 4 X out, whichever one you choose: a USB type-c 2 full-size, USB adapter, our USB type-c charging in sync, cable and an 18 watt fast charger.

The pixel for Excel has a 3700 William hour battery and the pixel 4 has a 2800 William hour battery with that 18 watt fast charging capability. So now it's time to get to the phone itself, this happens to be the Pixel 4 XL 128 gigabyte model. Unfortunately they didn't add a micro SD card slot, and that seems to be the case with a lot of these Android phones coming out recently, because they're offering different storage models, kind of like the iPhone straight out of the box. I can tell you right now. This thing is definitely premium.

It's fully surrounded with this aluminum ring, and it's got a matte black finish to it, which really sets this thing off, especially in the color. The back has kind of a soft touch to it with a little of a frost on it, and this thing just looks really, really good. I'm going to go ahead and get this thing set up, but first I want to go over the specs of the Pixel 4 XL. So obviously the display is one of the most important parts of a handset, and they didn't skimp out at all. On this.

This is a six point. Three inch HD plus OLED display with the resolution of 1440 by 3040, plus it's a 90 Hertz display. So it's very, very smooth for the CPU. Unfortunately, they didn't go with the Snapdragon 855 plus, but this is the Snapdragon 855 7 an ohmmeter version, 6 gigabytes of lpddr4 X Ram, and you can get this into storage variants, 64 or 128 around front. We also have an 8-megapixel with the 2.0 aperture, auto HDR and 1080p 30fps, video recording and yes, the camera app does contain a portrait mode. They're really pushing this new gesture sensor, which will allow you to kind of wave your hand to change tracks and things like that.

In my opinion, I'll probably never use it, except for once kind of like Alexa, Siri, Cortana or Bixby with Samsung. In my opinion, it's more of a party trick now, don't get me wrong and there's a lot of people out there that use Alexa and their voice assistance every single day, but personally, I don't, and I'll probably never use. These gestures pass my full review video around back. We have two shooters, a 12 point: two megapixel 1.7 aperture and a 16 megapixel 2.4, dual LED flash auto an HDR optical plus electronic stabilization, 1080p video recording at 30, 60 and 120, plus 4k at 30. For reasons beyond me, I'm not sure why they haven't added 4k 60 on these devices, yet either way, I'm really interested in testing both of these lenses out in night mode, and everything like that and in the next couple of days, I'll actually be posting a lot of pictures taken with this phone on my Instagram and Twitter.

If you want to check those out dual stereo speakers and obviously USB type-c, because that's the type of charger that came in the box and all phones are using type C now, there's not much else going on around the phone, but on the right hand, side we do have our power button and our volume rocker. So overall, the UI is super, quick with that snapdragon 1855 paired with Android 10 and I expected it to be. This is the new flagship phone from Google. We do have dual-band 802 dots, eleven ABG and an AC Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5.0 and NFC built-in, and, as you can see here, we have that six gigabytes of lpddr4 ram, the snapdragon 855, seven an ohmmeter Edition and for the GPU, the Arduino 640, so on paper. This will definitely keep up with the likes of the note 10 or the note 10, plus the Galaxy S 10 or S 10.

Plus we have the same chipset here. I really do wish. They would have added that snapdragon, 855 plus, but I think the 855 is plenty powerful enough for any kind of gaming or anything you really want to do on this phone and speaking of gaming. This is Call of Duty mobile running at the highest settings. We're definitely hitting that 60fps mark really smooth, and it looks amazing on this display.

So far it's turning out to be a really awesome, handset and like I mentioned I, will have a full review. Video coming up on the channel in the next few days definitely keep an eye out for that I'll be testing out the performance running some benchmarks. Checking out some native Android gaming will throw some emulation at it, and I really want to test out these cameras. So this weekend, I will be posting some stuff on my Twitter and Instagram, and I'll. Let you know how everything turned out in my full review video.

So that's pretty much it for this one. If you have any questions, or you want to see anything else tested on the new pixel for Excel. Just let me know in the comments below it'd also be really cool if you could hit that like button or maybe subscribe to the channel, but like always thanks for watching.
