Google Pixel 4 XL Unboxing and First Impressions!

So looks like the pixel four has motion sensor technology with unique features such as the wallpaper reacting to my hand, gestures as I, move it from side to side right above the pixel, that's very cool, let's unbox, a pixel for Excel and check out my first impressions, hey guys, suck here from sake ticket in today's video. What we do is, we are gonna, be unboxing the Pixel 4 XL, which is sitting over here. So this is the larger XL model. Let's lift the box and see what's inside and of course, I'm going to do a quick unboxing in this video I'm going to do a first impression, video as well. So when we lift the box, we have the white Pixel 4 XL, and you can see the camera bump over here. So let's all remove the phone from the box alright.

So let's grab that phone. Let me just put it aside for one second: let's see: what's in the box, I'm going to lift that up. Alright, then we're going to have a little user guide section with the sim card ejection tool over here, so I'm gonna. Put that aside, we have the cable to connect to the charger, that's an 18 watt charger for the Pixel 4 XL, and then we have this one, and then we have this little adapter. Let me just remove that real quick if it comes out alright, it's right there.

This adapter is the converter from the USB type-c to regular USB. In case you want to transfer files from and other phone or other things like that. Alright, so that's! Basically all we get in the box here is the actual charger. This is the 18 watt charger. I'm going to be testing the battery charging test as well.

But let's put all this aside for a second and divert our attention to the actual smartphone, which is this one right over here, alright, so the very first thing, obviously, I want to talk about the actual design. What we have here is a square camera bump, and it has two cameras. One of them is the standard wide-angle camera and the other one is two x telephoto camera. We do not get a wide-angle camera, as some people were anticipating. Now let me quickly talk the actual design, so, on the back, this is the white color, but you can get an orange and black as well, and it's going to be a matte finish, so it's not going to be shiny.

It's not going to be a fingerprint magnet, that's something that I do like the other thing that I'm new liking over here is the black matte rim around the edges. So that's again, it's matte color! You get an orange button over here, which just makes it look nice, okay, so it's Matt, no fingerprints doesn't pick up any dirt, and I'll be honest with you. That is my primary preference when it comes to a phone that it does not attract fingerprints, it's non-glossy and that's amazing I'll. Let you know when I hold this in my hands, even though it kind of looks like a toy, it feels solid. This is a high quality device.

You hold it in your hands. It feels slightly heavy just as heavy as any other phone. So that means it is also solid. Then, when you tap on it, it feels high quality. There's no question about that.

This is not a cheap phone, it is $1,000 for the 64 gigabyte pixel for Excel, so let's cook a look around the device, so on the top we have nothing except for that little microphone on the side. We have the SIM card, ejection tool tray over here at the bottom. We have two speakers and a USB type-c port are right in the middle and on this side, of course we have the orange button and of course we have the volume rocker and that's about it, for the tour on the sides of the device and, of course, in the front of the phone, we do have a 6.3 inch display. This is a quad HD plus display, and it does have a 90 Hertz refresh rate, but the 90 Hertz is not blocked. It's going to be a dynamic, 90 Hertz, refresh rate that adjusts based on context.

So that's gonna, save you battery, but I did use the forum a couple of minutes ago, and it feels really smooth and really snappy, and just so you know it does have a Snapdragon 855 processor, with 6 and gigabytes of RAM, which is plenty enough for a phone like this. That has stopped Android 10 running on it. Now, when we look at the front of the display, as you can see, we do not have a notch, but we do have a large bezel on the top that does how's the motion, sense, technology and, of course, the face ID system now the bezels on the side and at the bottom they're. Not that big, not not a problem, but we do have a large bezel again, it's much better than a notch, and it does house some technology. Let's talk about that now, I do want.

Let you that the motion sense uses a radar to give it awareness of its surroundings to detect movements and stuff like that. So when you reach the phone, it's going to know that you're about to reach the phone, and it's going to prepare the face ID system. So it can quickly unlock it for your convenience, and on top of that, you get the air gestures that allows you to skip songs and silent interactions with the gestures just above the phone. So the sensor on the top are going to sense. All that good stuff known as the motion sense not with motion sense.

This is a current wallpaper is a dynamic wallpaper as I swipe my hand back and forth. It actually senses my hand and the wallpaper reacts to the direction of my hand, as you can see so when I swipe this way, the wallpaper goes that way when I swipe the left side. It goes to the left side. So that's not bad at all. Okay, so motion sense, works and I do want too quickly.

Let you know guys that this phone does not have a fingerprint sensor. Neither a physical fingerprint sensor on the back or an in display fingerprint sensor on the front, but it does have a face unlock system all right based on my initial tests. It did work pretty flawlessly alright. So that's all I want to talk about in this quick unboxing. Video I cannot go into too many details until the phone is actually released, but, like I said it's actually a very solid phone.

It's got a nice screen with 90 Hertz refresh rate you get snapdragon, 835, processor, 6, gigabytes of RAM and of course you got the latest Android 10 software and the most up-to-date superfast Google Assistant that is actually built into the phone. So it's going to be even faster, as opposed to residing on a server and having that slight delay in service so with being on the phone, is gonna, be superfast anyway. That was a quick unboxing, quick overview and, of course, stay tuned for the full review. Alright guys for now have a fantastic day. Any questions, comments or concerns just drop them down below, and let me know.
