Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL vs OnePlus 7T: Which phone is best?

Google has finally released the Google Pixel for posting, a ton of awesome features and an all new design, but there's one thing: that's the same as the previous generation Google Pixel 3, the price tag at $800 or $900 for the pixel for Excel. The phone may be cheaper than the iPhone 11 Pro, but it's still not quite as inexpensive as alternatives like the OnePlus 70. Now before we compare the phones, it's important to be upfront overall, the pixel, 4 and Pixel 4 XL are better phones, but is it worth paying the extra cash or should you save your money and go for the cheaper one plus 17 I have tested both phones, and here are my thoughts. If you like this video, please subscribe to the channel, it really helps, and I really appreciate the support. The first thing to compare between these two phones is their design, and they're kind of opposites. How so well, the pixel 4 looks pretty great from the back, but not the best from the front, while the OnePlus 17 looks good from the front, but not so much from the back.

Let's start with the front. The OnePlus 70 has a fully edge-to-edge display, with only a small notch on the front for the front facing camera. The pixel 4, on the other hand, avoids the notch all together with a huge forehead, to be fair, that forehead does house some pretty fancy tech, but we'll get into that. A little later on the back, the OnePlus 70 has a pretty huge circular camera bump, that's reminiscent of old Nokia phones. The pixel 4 has a pretty prominent camera bump too, but for some reason at least to me anyway, it doesn't look bad, and the back color helps make it look a little more premium.

Both phones come in some nice colors, but I prefer the So Orange on the pixel 4 compared to the still nice glacier blue on the OnePlus 70 size-wise. The standard pixel 4 is much smaller than 1 plus 70. Even the Pixel 4 XL isn't quite as tall as the 1 plus 17 safe to say, if you don't like big phones, there's only one choice for you here. The standard pixel 4 in day to day use the OnePlus 70 is likely to look a little better design wise than the pixel since you'll be spending most of the time. Looking at the screen, rather than the back of the device, the display on the standard, pixel 4 and the OnePlus 70 is actually very similar.

The one 70s display is bigger, coming in at six point: five: five inches compared to the pixel force, five point, seven inches, but they both have a 1080p resolution and a 90 host refresh rate.1080P is a little low on flagship phones these days, but the displays still look pretty good and if you want a 1440p display, you can instead opt for the pixel for Excel, which definitely offers the best display of the bunch. All three of the phones are pretty excellent in the performance department, and they can all handle everything that you throw at them. The pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, coupled with 6 gigabytes of RAM, while the OnePlus 70 steps things up to a snapdragon, 855 plus and eight gigabytes of RAM. Those specs, however, don't seem to translate to better performance and Google has clearly done some optimization magic here as it performs around, as well as the OnePlus 70 or even better in some benchmarks. Real-World use is obviously far more important than benchmarks, and you can rest assured that, at least in the time I've had with the phones, they've all performed well, even with heavy multitasking.

Then there's the battery, and it's likely to be a major point of difference between these phones TLDR. The OnePlus 70 offers a better battery than both of the phones. The standard pixel four is twenty. Eight hundred million power battery is barely enough to get it through a day of average use, while the pixel four excels, 3,700 William hour battery fares better, but still isn't great. The OnePlus 70 has a 3800 William hour battery and combined with the lower resolution display compared to the pixel for Excel.

It's clearly the winner. Here, the 70 should easily get you through a day of use, even with some mobile gaming thrown into the mix. For many, the camera is the main event, and this is an area where Google has long excel. That said, there might be some situations in which the OnePlus 70 is the better choice. That's because the OnePlus 70 has three lenses instead of two, including one ultra-wide sensor, while the pixel 4 only has a standard, wide angle sensor and a telephoto lens that said, while the OnePlus 70 perhaps has a more versatile camera, the Google Pixel 4 takes better photos.

Almost all the time, as mentioned, Google has added a telephoto lens here and coupled with the company's super resume, you have a camera. That's able to perform pretty well, even when seriously zoomed in Google has added other smart features here too, like new macrophotography mode and an improved portrait mode. Generally speaking, the OnePlus 70 takes great photos, and it's easy to switch between lenses on the OnePlus 70s camera app. That said, for most photo taking the pixel force simply takes better shots. So if quality is your concern, it's the way to go software.

Why is the pixel for, and pixel for, Excel have a bit of an advantage? That's thanks to the fact that they ship with Android, is Google intended. So if there's a spotless experience and some pretty awesome, smart features, for example, the new device features Google Assistant 2.0, which largely lives on device and is aimed at responding to requests much faster than before. That said, the software experience on the OnePlus 70 is still relatively clean and easy to use, which is good news for those who care about a blur where free experience. Perhaps even cooler is the radar tech that's housed in the Google Pixel 4's forehead. The forehead allows the phone to offer some quick, responsive facial recognition features, but with Google's solely built into it gets even faster.

That's because the phone can detect when you're approaching fire up the facial recognition tech and be ready to go once you hold the phone to your face. So Lee also allows for other features like the ability to use air based gestures without touching the phone. For example, you can swipe left or right to go to the next or previous song, which is pretty cool. How useful those gestures are will vary from person to person, but they're still worth keeping in mind so which phone is better well, if you're looking for a solid all-rounder, the OnePlus 70 is a great phone between all three phones. However, the pixel for Excel is easily the best of the bunch sure the forehead is a little ugly and the batteries should be better, but the great display, awesome, camera and super smart features make it worth the extra cash if you can afford it.

Rest assured, though, if you can't afford the pixel 4, XL or pixel 4 you're, still getting a great phone with the OnePlus 70 thanks so much for watching again, please subscribe to this channel. If you enjoyed the video, my name is Christian, and I'll. See you next time see ya.
