Google Pixel 2 XL Battery Life By Ace Lucero Tech

Hey, hey, what's happening a video, and today real quick, we're gonna, be talking about the Google Pixel excel ? battery life. Now today was my first day of use with it and hold on a minute now, anyway, yeah you all know how I feel about that. Today was my first day of use with this and the one thing that I'm concerned about- and you know, I am like the king of nitpicking. These phones so bear with me on this, but I think this is something that everyone that's thinking about. Getting this phone should be a should look into all right. Well, as you can see, you know five hours, 40 minutes screen on time, I've been going pretty much 17 hours now.

Okay, now this is a battery. There's going to be a battery video somewhere to do stuff. Talking about what I do with my batteries, with every brand-new phone I get I do like five cycles, I call it a cycle I charge the battery all the way to 100, then I, let it go all the way down to zero. You know like, for example, this is one of take about 17 and a half hours to do it on this cycle. Okay and as we're seeing there, you know, 17 hours of battery use was seven hours screen on time, isn't bad at all, and if you look at how I've been using the phone today, you know: do it a little of everything, the one thing that I'm I can't figure out, and I mentioned it in the last video I just did that right there, the Google, pixel launcher using 10% of the battery now didn't get it now.

I was not doing this all day. I was not doing that all day. Furthermore, I was not hanging out on the pixel launcher, just I wasn't just staring at the pencil launcher all day. Furthermore, I was doing things, I was using apps. Okay I was having a good time with the phone this that little, you know a little of everything, so my question is I mean maybe it's just what? Why is that there? Maybe it's just the way I, you know, I, don't have an answer for that.

What I want to do, though, is I have like 14 more days the test, this phone to see if it's a keeper, okay and as of right now with that battery life right there I'm cool with it. Okay and the reason I say: I'm cool with it is I streamed some I streamed the music. Today I streamed music, and I was listening to some people, talk with a YouTube red, so I have my screen turned off now. If I, don't you know had the screen on the screen on time would have lit a little higher, but maybe I do use more battery, but anyway, so we'll see how this goes. I'm I said this is my first Tends my first day of use with it maybe I, don't know, maybe it'll settle down a little better may be able to get.

You know, get better life, that's not that battery life I mean you know. I probably could have got I, don't know we'll see, but that's all I'm wondering about right. There, that's my main concern. Maybe if I installed me after five days, it was still doing that I'm going to install a custom, watcher, I'm, gonna, install action, launcher, 3, and I want to see what that does. I'm going to see how you know if it'll lose use.

Less Chrome is another one that I'm wondering about right now: I'm like because, you know I, think I can install a Samsung launcher, there's a pretty sure he can not launcher the Samsung browser on this. So I'm, probably gonna. Do it I'm, not probably gonna. Do it I am gonna. Do it I'm going to install the Samsung browser on this phone after five days, along with the action launcher? Three I want to run it like that, and I want to see what kind of battery times I can get.

But you know for the next few days, I mean every day we'll have this phone I want to be taking screenshots of my battery time of what's going on things like that. Okay, just we all know, I pretty much run my display all day. If I want sign, I'll put it there. Okay- and you know in the or mean I know, this isn't a display review, but uh. This displays perfect outside no problems at all I'm, not comparing it to any other device, but anyway, this is where I keep my display set at, so I mean, but sometimes I put it here.

For me, you know it's kind of like I. Don't know a lot of people like to keep it away turned up that. Okay, especially when you're indoors, it hurts my eyes personally. Okay I might have done with all my devices, but as far as the battery life goes on this I'm, comparing it to my s8 plus, comparing it to the know date a little. It's pretty much right there with them.

Like I said this is the first day of use, so we'll see how this goes. I want to you know let this thing get all the way back down to zero and then, when it gets down to zero I'm going to charge it all the way to a hundred once inside 100 what a hood plugs. That's nothing go all the way back down to zero. All over long at tapes, so we'll see all that goes one thing dumb. That I did a well arguing that out of another review, video, okay, so I'm not gonna talk about that now, because this is just about battery but scale of one to ten I want body, eight happy with the battery life.

Okay, scaling with a pen on the satisfied, scale, I'm 1/8 right now with this, because I'm thinking that it would be it'll, be better okay, just with my experience, learning different Android phones and over the years and beans, and I was using the regular Google Pixel first Jan up until a few months ago, I guess anyway, so that's gonna, be it for this video. So just real quick! This one last thing, though I want to just reiterate on this I, would like for you all to look into that for me see what's going on. Why is the pixel monitor using so much battery? Is that normal? What's it doing tonight, am I missing something here anyway, if you all can figure that out put something in the comment section.
