Gaming test : Alcatel 1S (2019)

What's up guys are you on MJ coming at you today we have a gaming tests on the Alcatel 1s come on. Flip. Do I need to flip back to you? Can flip yeah there you go, so we have Alcatel, 1s and you're going to try to play games and see. How is the gaming performance now then I'm going to test pop G as a stock from the phone, and I'm going to test pop G, using the GFX tools after that I'm going to use an emulation which is the PSP, so I can try the Gran Tourism game, which is heavy on the processor, not necessarily the GPU. However, we're going to try it out and see how the performance of the gaming on this phone- and that's the point here. Let me just click on next.

First off I want to show you the graphics here, graphical performance. So if it is this, if this is actually hitting 30 frames or not, because this is very, very low graphics, so you cannot hit even HD. So it's not H the maximum is balanced and medium. So this is what you get, but if you click on balanced and medium, and you want to check out the frames, this is actually not that good of a friend as you can see a lot of frame skipping, as you can see here now. What I'm trying to if you want, if you play pop G, the best way possible to play Bob G, is to set it up for like 60 frames per second, so you can play it fast and shoot fast before others and to achieve that, you practically cannot play it this way.

The only way to do it is to use the G fix tool here. Well, let me first disable everything and start the GFX tool. I'm going to show you the setting here. So it's on smooth, it's a lower resolution, and it's our classic frame rate 60 frames, of course, so I set it on 60 frames per second and basically disabled everything else or set everything on low, except the frame rates, and then I'm going to click on apply. Some stupid advertisement is gonna show now, so I have to skip it all right.

There we go skip it, and we run the game, fly you're supposed to see better frame rates. Now, no matter what processor or what phone you have, especially this processor. This is a new type of processor. It's not it's, not Snapdragon! It's not MediaTek, it's not other. Furthermore, it's not an Enos chip set.

So this, basically a new processor that from China that's it that Alcatel are using. Of course the phone is from. If you know the TV's TCL TVs, they are using in the hotel, and they have a good screen to pass with you. The screen is nice. I love the skin that covers up beautiful for an LCD screen.

This is probably the best LCD screen I've seen so far apart from the unknown okay 8.1. So we have to just wait a little so yeah there. You go guys, let's see the graphics here and skip so let's go to graphics, and we have balanced, no HD, but we can't go to smooth, and we can go to extreme, which is gonna, enable you with a 60 frames per second. But, however, let's just check first is these 60 frames that is definitely better than the friends before this is a stable, 30 frames. Almost 35 frames, that's yeah! That's a good! You know performance, my opinion for them for the giving chipset.

You know that's very low and chipset guys. We have Godzilla. This is the three-headed dragon now do you actually can? Can you shoot at 60 frames, or it can play its Table, six without skipping or frame skipping? That's the point here. If you object player- and let's stick small circles over here and let's take time for your phone to get used to the because you know it's a slow processor, so you have to give it that okay, so not much frame skipping is not that it's not sixty frames, it's almost as 30 frames, but it's not that the frames almost 25 frames, so I would say. I would say that it could be playable, it's partially playable, but you cannot just play good.

You know you cannot play that good, see the frame that goes out. So that's that's. That's not actually helpful. However, you see it's really hard to go left and right, especially with the latency of the screen. It's that's the benefit of the high latency or some of the rogue phone -.

You can have faster latency or the know the Xiaomi black shark. You have faster latency here. No, it can see it's very slow. The reaction is slower, so you cannot just go and have it like 60 frames or faster there. You go guys, though, so to sum up the pop G here, it is not actually recommended to play pop G on this phone.

If you played, if you want to buy a few buying phone to play pop G, this phone is not that good, but it can, you know, can do something a little help you with, like 25 frames, the slow reaction. So it's not a good for high pace games. Let's take a look at the PSP oops. Why? Oh, why Facebook is showing I clicked on this? Oh yeah, sorry I think a double-clicked on Facebook I hate, Facebook anyways. Let's go to the emulator SD card and start the game.

That's our ocean! Let's go to the games, Gran, Tourism and BAM. Now this game is on PSP and this processor is its heavy on the processor. So we test the processor. Now we used to be back five minutes ago or three minutes ago we used to testing the GPU. Now, let's try the CPU.

Let's see, okay, lets the animation is working fine, so the video is working. Fine, no problem at all, which is a good site. That's a good time. No. The phone has eight cores by the way.

Okay, so we have a little to hiccups. Try frame skipping sounds chopping with a slow is good. I'm gonna, try anything I'm, going to click X until we erase, and we're going to make this faster. Alright, just the sound, because it's annoying, so the frames are nice. You can see, there are no hiccups, no issues at all.

It seems that it's okay, it's the sound that actually make it. Unplayable looks unplayable, but here you can see very nice smooth uh. You know racing experience. Shoes are off, it's almost like 4050 frames. There you go, so it's like 50 frames, stable 55 know it sounds 60.

So you can see how smooth the game runs. No issues at all the only thing may be the sound that could actually affect this gaming. If you can't turn off the sound or play something else, because you know it's simulation and this processor is kind of scan the new scanned uh. Maybe the game is not or maybe the application cannot really adapt to the processor as opposed to the Snapdragon processors. But here it looks like it's playable, it's okay, you know.

If you want to play a racing game like a relation with a racing game, you can do that. No problem, that's a good sign here and, as you can see, 60 frames guys I'm, really pretty surprised. They actually played like this. Let's turn the sound up yeah. We have problem with the sound syncing, the sound with the game.

Maybe we can just do you can play with the PSP and make it better, but this is what the standard wave to use the game. I don't play anything with that with emulators, but you can just play with it. You know is sternness off. So in conclusion, I have FIFA. Well, but three four runs around like maybe twenty-five twenty, it doesn't even run at 30 frames.

So in conclusion, guys the phone can run some games where you lighter games, then you know pop G. So in a game that plays at two DS or maybe like three D, it's gonna work, fine, no problems, but heavy games like pop G, like maybe other games, but it's not going to play it. One half percent, not even 30 frames per second. If you want to play a Malaysian, the only emulation that could work with it is the PSP and PLA station, one of course, but PSP I'm going to push it to the limit, so I played Gran Tourism and, as you can see, playing Gran Tourism actually did well in around fifty-five. Fifty, not even not sixty, but did they do well because we have a core CPU and the emulation is depending on the CPU.

So yeah. That's it guys for you. If you have any questions, let me know in the comment section below. If you have any other suggestions and see you guys there.
