Galaxy S20 vs Note10+! Camera Test Comparison

What's up guys, this is my camera comparison test of the new Samsung Galaxy s20 versus the Samsung Galaxy note, 10+ Which camera is better well. Today's video we're going to find out without further ado, I'm Ben from authentic and quick disclosure. I purchased both of these phones with my own money now. Could the s20 be that much better than the note 10? Well, both of them are currently around a thousand bucks today, and I was pretty surprised with the results, starting with that front-facing selfie camera recording, 4k 30. This is an audio test on the galaxy. That's 20 audio test, one two, and this is audio on the note, 10 plus audio test, one two, three four, the audio sounds very similar on each with the s20 slightly louder, which is nice but I kind of wish.

It was better still comparing the video, the colors and dynamic range, even saturation and sharpness. It all looks very similar here on the selfie cam when I go for a quick jog, the stabilization is looking much better on the s20. The note is just wonky, but the s20 also still has a bit of gel. Oh, I'm not positive. If this is due to my mounting system either way, the s20 is looking much better here, jump into some photo comparisons.

A few quick selfie shots. First I'm liking the s20 better. In some shots they are looking very similar, but then in a couple, others I found the s22 snap a more accurate autofocus and when I shot a few portrait mode photos. Well then note wanted me to hold the phone much closer to my face for detection, thus missing the portrait shot a couple of times. One win for the note in a few of these photos.

If I circle, my shiny skin, highlights of the Sun reflections, the s20 is slightly more blown out with better details on the note switch into the triple rear cameras. Each phone has at ultra-wide medium and telephoto lens they'll. Keep in mind, as I mentioned in my last video. The S twenties telephoto lens is more of a hybrid zoom. They call it meaning it's using this crazy, high 64, megapixel sensor and basically digitally cropping in for the zoom capability.

The very interesting result, though, when compared to the note 10, for example, and around the two times range, the notes tell it lens, actually looks perfect and holds up well, and it's only when we zoom way in on the 10, 20 or even 30 X range, where that s 20 really stands out with some impressive results at those higher megapixels overall colors dynamic range contrast and sharpness, they're, all pretty dang close tie with most of these shots, and I'm really liking the vibrancy without being too overdone in low-light photos, they both can shoot in night mode on all three lenses which is great to see and while the note doesn't look terrible, I think the s 20 wins and all three of these shots. This is rear facing video on both the cameras with the ultra wide-angle field of view lens. How does it look, and how do they compare? Interestingly, the note has a slightly wider field of view on paper of 12 millimeters on its ultra-wide lens. The s 20 is at 13 millimeters I'd say the stabilization is looking smoother on the S 20 over the note, 10 colors and contrasts are looking really similar overall, my skin tones on the S 20 look a tad more saturated and smooth looking now, I'm, not sure if this is a little secret beauty mode going on in the background, or maybe it's slightly stronger noise reduction in the HDR tone, mapping switching to the primary 12 megapixel lens on both funny that as 20 is slightly wider here on this lens at 26 millimeters, the note is 27 millimeters in the simple walking test. The s 20 is looking much smoother with its stabilization.

Oddly enough, though I noticed, the note looks a tad sharper in clarity, and I'm, not sure. What's going on here. This isn't always the case like in this clip. Both of these lenses look very sharp and nice. Looking when we punch into that telephoto lens for some zoom comparisons.

I was pretty surprised here that the note tends to X optical zoom, possibly looked as good, if not better than the 64 mega pixel as Twenties digital zoom. Basically, it's a great lesson that the more megapixels you have beenn't always everything. Sometimes optical glass, just can't be cheated and of day, though you probably shouldn't be zooming in this far on either camera. And if you stay in that 5 to 10 X range, they both will look good for you. Both phones can shoot 1080p 240fps slow-motion and in this shot I'd say.

The note is looking a tad over sharpen then process, while the s20 has some pretty bad stabilization. Plus it's a bit soft, looking one mode, I love playing with is the alter slo-mo 960 FPS at 720p. Now I'll be the first to admit. The footage is not that great looking it's pretty pixelated, but for a fun social post, it'll, look just fine and plus, when watching back a 32 times slower than real-life footage clip it's pretty mesmerizing and cool to watch in my patented autofocus test. They are very close, but when slowing down the footage, I found the s22 pretty consistently beat the note by just about 2 to 4 frames, still a win for the s20 in the low-light video that notes ultra-wide is looking much noisier and higher grain.

The primary lens on the note is leaning a tad warmer in white balance, with the s20 locking in that clean white LED. More accurately and again, the note looks way more grainy. While the s20 has a bit cleaner image when panning to the pitch black, you guys tell me, would you rather have a darker, cleaner, less noise image like here in last 20, resulting with less clarity in the blacks or a more grainy note, 10 shot where we can see a bit more the details in the blacks, it's a trade-off and comes down to personal preference and just for fun. Here's a live focus, video test that natural, it's a nice idea with possible potential down the road. Now the edge outlining is still too sharp slightly inaccurate at times and the depth of field fall-off is just too aggressive.

It's going from like Unfocus to a mile out of focus in just a millimeter, still looks way too fake, but with some R&D I hope they can improve this with time. Okay, so the s20 is still my favorite so far, but the note 10 held very close in a lot of these tests. The one thing I'll miss from my note is that stylus, it's super fun and unique to have now, if you're upgrading from say a s10 or a note 10. Is it worth the upgrade and probably not, but if you're coming from a much older device, and you're thinking about these two generations, I'd say if the price is still similar, definitely go with the s20. What do you guys vote? Let me know down below and until I see you next time.

Let's live authentic.
