Galaxy Note 9 To Have The Biggest Battery For a Samsung Flagship!

The Galaxy Note 9 is shaping up to be a 2018 powerhouse. It had seemed as if the Note 9 had nowhere to go after Samsung launched the near-perfect, feature rich, Galaxy S9+. But two recent revelations may have changed that. The latest rumors about the Galaxy Note 9 reiterate a previous one - that the phablet will sport a larger than usual for the Note line battery pack. While previously we heard that it will be a 3850mAh unit, today's report claims that Samsung is prepping a 4000mAh unit, the largest ever on a top-shelf Galaxy, and much larger than the 3300mAh piece in the Note 8. Despite sticking with a battery that you'd usually see in a 5.5-inch smartphone, the 6.3-inch Note 8 was still able to deliver all-day battery life. Theoretically, with a lot more juice in the tank, we could even be looking at multi-day performance with the Note 9.

If this rumor is accurate, it will go hand in hand with a new in-display fingerprint scanner that has been rumored to end up in the Galaxy Note 9. Outside of the obvious, that it's a convenient way to unlock the phone, there's a possible, additional, benefit to including an in-display fingerprint scanner: that is, the internal space saving. It's impossible to know for sure until we see a full device teardown, but the inclusion of the new sensor could be the reason for the Note 9's supposed increased battery size. As for the display of the Note 9 itself, this Twitter user has said it will increase to 6.4-inches, up from 6.3-inches on the Note 8. This snippet of information has come from Chinese social site Weibo, which is so often the source of many smartphone leaks.

As such, it's tough to make the call on whether these rumors are likely to pan out but these claims don't sound too wild and are pretty much believable. But in any case, we're gonna hear a lot about the Note 9 in the coming months and I'm gonna keep you updated on each and everything. So make sure to subscribe and I'll see you'll tomorrow... Peace out!.
