Hey everybody welcome back to Jamie's promo, and today is March 11th and Samsung. Just pushed off the latest software update to the Galaxy Note 20 series now about a week ago. The Galaxy Note 20 series just got the update to Samsung one UI 3.1, but at least on my update, it did not include the march security patch, and I mentioned in that video that, in about a week's time, we will be able to see that march security patch and so here is that update right around that exact same size that all of these little software updates are usually at 241 megabytes. This version ends in due one now, if you're looking to see, if you have this update, just go to the very top you'll head inside your settings, then you're going to scroll all the way down to where it says software update tap on software update downloaded installed, and this is where you would be able to see it. So I've been searching for this update pretty much every single day since March 1st, because usually we always try to get that march security patch right around that date. So now that we have Samsung UI 3.1, we now have our latest march update. Once we hit download and install, I will be taking a look at Samsung pay, the regular home, we'll take a look at biometrics for the fingerprint and face recognition, we'll take a look at the camera and messages things like that, just to see, if there's any other, newer versions.
That is not stated right here and usually with these small updates with the monthly security patches, they usually never state what is new unless, if it's something beyond the regular security patch, but if you guys are brand new here at the channel of jimmy as promo, and you appreciate these tips, tricks tutorials and the latest information on the software updates make sure you guys have that subscribe button, as well as the bell for notifications to get notified for all future videos. And again, if you appreciate me deep, diving, taking a look to see what is new, please give this thing. A big thumbs up comment below the video it'll help the YouTube algorithm push this video to more and more people, so the software update is done in complete. Let's take a look at just a few applications just to see if any of these do have newer versions. So, first off taking a look at the camera.
Originally we did have eleven zero. Two five six, this one is eleven zero, zero, two five six, so the camera is the same version. Taking a look at the home. Uh originally was twelve one zero one fifteen, so twelve one zero one fifteen! So that's also the exact same version heading inside some biometrics, so biometric security, more biometrics, biometric security patch. So for the fingerprint it was five one zero one so exact same version there then for face recognition.
We did have to zero one, thirteen, so 20113, so the exact same versions there and then taking a look at Samsung messages. Even though I use Google messages, uh we'll take a look over at Samsung messages. This version was 12, 110, 125, 12, 110, 125, so same version there and then heading over inside Samsung pay just to see if this one's also brand new as well. So this one was four zero, four one again, four zero four one, so I wasn't able to find anything new on this video, which usually doesn't happen. That often, but again, it's just a very small update, something happening in your know: behind the device, there's probably a bunch of other things that was maybe updated- that we didn't look at.
We only took a look at one, two, three, four, five, six different applications or services. But again there is a software update that was released today on March 11th. For the Galaxy Note 20 series, so this wasn't too much of an eventful update other than just the regular security patch of everything else. But if you guys did appreciate this video, please give this thing a huge thumbs up, don't forget to hit subscribe, subscribe over here in the very bottom left-hand side, and if you like this video, the more than likely you'll. Also, like this video, and I'll see you guys later, you.
