Galaxy J4 Core with Android Go!

Samsung introduced the Galaxy J4 Core - its second budget smartphone with Android Go OS In late August, Samsung introduced its first smartphone running Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) - the Galaxy J2 Core model. And now, a little more than two months later, Samsung added the Galaxy J4 Core model to the range - this is the second smartphone of the South Korean manufacturer with Android Go. What is a little disappointing is the use of the old version of the Android OS 8.1 Oreo, and not the new Android 9 Pie, which debuted in August. As the name implies, the new model in the manufacturer’s range will be located one step higher than the first model. It offers slightly improved performance: the screen diagonal has increased to 6 inches, and the resolution has increased to 1480x720 pixels (IPS panel), the storage capacity has doubled to 16 GB, and the battery capacity has increased to 3300 mAh. The remaining characteristics of the new model does not differ from the first model: the basis is the eight-core SoC with a frequency of 1.4 GHz (although it uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 instead of Exynos 7570), and the amount of RAM remains the same 1 GB. The camera set of the Galaxy J4 Core is the same as that of the Galaxy J2 Core - the main one is 8 megapixels and the front one is 5 megapixels.

The smartphone has dimensions 160.6 x 76.1 x 7.9 mm and weighs 177 grams. Of course, there is no fingerprint sensor, no recognition of the face, no NFC here. But there are interfaces Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.2. Information about the availability and price of new items yet.
