BATTERY DRAIN TEST: Realme 8/8 Pro vs Redmi Note 10 / Pro / Max vs Samsung M51 vs OP Nord🔥

An eight-way comparison between some of the best phones under 20 or 25 000 rupees we've got the Redmi Note, 10 10 pro 10 pro max one plus word, a stopwatch realm 8 8, pro Samsung, m51 and micromax in one you can see the battery capacity of each phone at the top. Let's start draining all of them, we'll start with a Zoom video call because that's become a major part of our lives the past one year and seems like it will continue to be so for a while. The second way of covered infections is getting serious, so please stay safe, wear a mask and keep sanitizing your hands. A tiny obstacle here, wasted a minute on the micromax in one shouldn't be a big deal, since the video call actually lasts around 30 minutes. So these are the figures. After about 13 minutes, there's a significant dip on the Redmi Note, 10.

, a 10 drop is definitely a little disappointing. Let's hope it gets better from here. Also, while we are on this page to have a look at the battery settings, all the power saving modes are disabled, so the realm, 8 and Samsung Galaxy m51 have held up quite well others more or less similar, except Redmi. Note 10, of course, next up social media, we'll open, Instagram and browse through stuff. We also played some IGTV videos and Instagram played them back to back automatically without any intervention from our side it's been one and a half hours.

You can see the remaining battery levels on the top. Once again, the note 10s battery consumption hasn't been great. Actually even the one plus not has dropped to 78, which is again not great, but the non display is set to 90 hertz and the note 10 also has a much larger battery. So that's. What's concerning and yeah the Redmi Note, 10 pro and 10 pro max are running at 120 hertz.

The remaining phones support only 60 hertz. We did a lot of swiping inside Instagram, so the higher refresh rate on the note 10 pro and note 10 pro max, definitely came into play. But in spite of that, the battery consumption hasn't been too bad. Now, of course, the content on all the phones were different throughout the one and a half hours we spent on Instagram. So technically the impact on battery consumption would be slightly different on each phone, but practically not by much, maybe two to three percent difference.

That's it! Let's now open the camera app and record a 4k 30 fps video on every phone, the micromax in one doesn't support 4k. So we are recording a 1080p video on all the Redmi phones. There was a limit, so we had to press the record button again whenever it reached the limit uh, the other phones recorded continuously for almost two hours. So it's been four hours since we started the test. Three phones have breached the 50 mark.

The nod is in the 30s. Now it's weird how the Realme 8 pro, also dipped to 44. So these 100 minutes of 4k video recording has eaten more than 40 percent of charge on the Realme 8 pro, as well as the OnePlus, not the other phones lost anywhere between 30 and 38 charge, which is slightly better the next two hours. We are playing Clash of Clans personally, not a fan, but one of my editors is literally addicted to it. This is pretty even seven of the eight phones lost around 13 percent charge.

The eighth phone is the one plus not which lost more than 20 percent charge. Let's now proceed to YouTube by the way, don't mind all those numbers changing at the top they're, just very rough calculations, approximate at regular intervals, we'll check the battery levels and during that time these numbers will be accurate once again, just like with Instagram. The content will not be the same on all phones, so that might have a bit of an impact on the battery consumption, so 7 hours and 55 minutes. That's how long the OnePlus not lasted in our battery test. Maybe if the refresh rate was six set to 60 hertz, it would last a little longer but uh look at the two Redmi phones to the two its left.

Still around 35 percent left despite running at 120, hertz they're nailing this. So after another hour of playing YouTube videos, we can see that nothing. Much has changed. The note 10 and the Realme 8 pro are still racing to death. The remaining phones are still going quite strong, the m51 still in the lead.

Let's now move on to some more gaming, a little heavier this time asphalt 8. So as expected, the note 10 has died after almost 1 hour, 15 minutes of asphalt, 8 gameplay, not bad after another 20 minutes, the realm 8 pro ran out of charge and another 20 minutes the younger sibling, the realm 8 also ran out of charge. So it's been 2 hours and 15 minutes. Since we opened asphalt, 8 and almost 11 and a half hours. Since we started the battery test and the Redmi Note 10 pro has given up the 10 pro max and the micromax in one lost around 25 percent charge.

While gaming, but the m51 lost only 11 percent, which is ridiculously good next up wing wink music will play some songs at full volume. The note 10 pro max has drained the last bit of charge. Left lasted only about 5 minutes playing music. The micromax in one also ran out of charge within a few minutes. So after two and a half hours of music streaming, the m51 still has around 10 percent charge left.

It just refuses to die, we'll go back to shooting 4k video, which is probably the most intensive task the phones have handled in this test. The m51 has finally died after 14.5 hours of continuous usage. Of course, if we did something else, instead of shooting 4k video, it would definitely cross the 15-hour mark crazy. Now, honestly, uh, an even crazier fact is that the note 10 pro and pro max lasted almost 11 and a half hours at 120 hertz refresh rate so yeah. The winner of this battery drain test as expected, is the Samsung Galaxy m51.

I don't think there will ever be a phone that lasts longer than the m51, not in the near future. At least it just refuses to die, like I said earlier, 14 hours and 35 minutes, that's almost twice as long as how long the one plus not lasted. However, it's not just about how long these phones lasted, like I said, uh the note 10 pro and pro max held their own. I don't think any other phone with 120 hertz display can last as long as these two, and they did it with a 5220 my battery, that's a huge capacity sure, but not outrageously, huge, like 6000 or 7000 my. I mean why I am talking about capacity is because the form factor also matters like how heavy and thick they are designed to house the battery uh.

You know, for example, all Redmi and realm phones here weigh around 180 to 190 grams, and they're, all just eight millimeters thin. Approximately the word is also similar, but has a considerably lower capacity. The m51 is a lot thicker and heavier. I mean phones like the Poco x3, iPhone pro max series. They are thicker and heavier than the m51.

So for a 7000 my battery phone, the m51s build is actually pretty good but yeah. If you do want a reasonably thin and light phone and if you value the 120 hertz refresh rate, I feel overall, the note 10 pro and pro max have outperformed everything else, but purely from the battery perspective, the m51 still rules by the way, we'll also come up with a charging test between all these phones do check the description for the link by the way do subscribe to the channel and hit the bell icon guys. If you don't want to at least let us know in the comments what you don't like about. The video thanks for watching, see you in the next one bye and take care.
