Avoid at all costs! Sony Xperia 1 III Genshin Impact Gaming FPS Performance/Power Test By Golden Reviewer

Hi guys welcome back to golden reviewer. This is the Sony PR one mark iii, and today we are going to test out the Gandhi impact performance on this device. As you can see here, it's equipped with snapdragon triple eight 12 gigs of ram. So that's pretty top of the line specs and now, let's see how it performs in actual gaming right, let's go okay, so just as usual I'll show you the graphics settings first, because this is a flagship device. I set everything to the highest possible and enable the 60 fps option as well. Okay, so the test will follow my usual testing routine I'll play the game for about 10 minutes and, at the same time, I'll show you the real-time fps and power figures at the bottom of the video.

Okay, without further ado, let's go foreign. Oh, foreign is type you. What tight is? Oh, she so uh foreign, oh fish, hey dog, hey I yeah! Yes me! Oh, oh ROG you're is okay, so the results are in, and I have to say that this device is not very suitable for this kind of heavy gaming, especially gangster impact.

After merely one minute, the fps start to drop like crazy, and I even see the fps go as low as 10 right. That is really crazy, crazy low, and it shouldn't happen on a flagship device like this. I guess the reason is that snapdragon triple eight is quite power hungry, and it generates a lot of heat, and then this device is so thin and so steep. It doesn't have all the thermal headroom for the snapdragon triple a to um to dissipate all the heat right. So the device has no choice but to throttle very, very heavily, and that's why you see the performance suffers a lot and then for power figures.

It's expected as well. You can see that the device heavily throttles after about two to three minutes and the power could only maintain at around 4 watts, although at first what the power consumption was very high and the world average is 6.3 watt. But I think the sustained TDP for this device is only around four to five watt. It's quite similar to the iPhone actually, and it's quite obvious that at this power TDP figures, the device cannot run gauntlet impact smoothly. Okay.

So if you are an uh, active caching impact player and looking for a device to play that game, well, then this device is not for you, alright guys. So that's all for this video.
