Asus Rog Phone 5 PUBG Test Gameplay FPS and Gaming Air Triggers

Hi guys its john from android Alex, and today we're doing a PUBG gaming test on the ASUS rock phone five. So I've got the graphics settings currently set as follows. So we've got HDR and extreme because we can still get 60 fps out of this phone on those settings. That's nice got AA turned on and shadows turned on. We have x mode turned on, and I've got the trigger setup. I've also got all the HD stuff downloaded and installed.

So this is really going to be testing the phone out to the max put the frames per second also up on the screen, so you can watch as we played see if there are any drops at all. I have been playing for a few times now on this phone, and it's been absolutely fine, no issues whatsoever, the fps and other details down here at the bottom of the screen, we're currently at 97 battery. So I'm going to unplug now, and we'll just see also as well throughout the match and a few games how much the battery does drain I'm going to turn the ceiling up now. The speakers on this phone are perfect, as with previous rock phones, so what you'll hear is coming directly from the phone itself? We've also got the temperature. Don't forget, we've got this down here, so it's currently 34 degrees.

This phone really doesn't warm up very much at all. The cooling system on it is very good. I've been quite impressed to be honest. I'm saying that the air triggers are slightly awkward to press when you're holding the phone I mean. Naturally, you'd hold your phone with your sort of hands at the back like this yeah triggers up here mean you have to maybe hold it like this, which it's okay for maybe shooting.

I think you can get away with one hand doing that, but having a two, there is a bit a tiny bit awkward for me with my hands. You can see how smooth it is. It's really, really nice, hmm foreign, this uh, okay, so that was pretty flawless, so I'm just going to go into smooth and extreme. Now, as well, just for fun again, we've got a still on and shadows, and it'll be a max of 60 fps. Still but we'll just see if there's any notable difference whilst playing the game, I'm just going to go into a domination mode here, we'll see how it gets on enemies.

Down expired, get me down. Probably the red team will capture the base. In 10 seconds, the blue team has taken a base successfully face b has been activated. The red team has occupied base b. Reloading cover me reloading cover me, nice, shot dead, reloading cover me expire, the blue team is leading as domination enters.

The second half clear, reloading blue team victory successfully. So I'll just quickly show you the ultra HD settings here. We can't currently select h ultra HD over here, but we can do the ultra HD here with the ultra frame rate. This is as high as it will go turn on water, reflections or AI, a sorry, not AI, and we'll leave AI, hey, hey. I keep saying it now I'll leave a on, and I'll just show you again with another arena match here.

Just what it's like on these settings. Reloading cover me reloading down. Cover me reloading, reloading cover me enemy down. The flu team. Will soon take over a base, blue team victory successfully? Okay, so there we have it that was on ultra HD there and run about 40 frames per second no she's at all, but I would stick with HDR and extreme or smooth and extreme.

You might as well stick with HDR on extreme, because that looks the nicest and if we have a look at the temperature here, it's got to 37 degrees here, so not too hot at all. It feels warm, but no warmer than any other phone that I've used whilst playing a game, particularly so GPU and CP wise. They weren't really stressed out too much at all, so yeah rock phone, five, really great phone, if you're a PUBG fan and obviously for other games as well you'll be absolutely fine playing those two.
