Asus ROG Phone 5 Hands-on Video Leaks & Rumors By Tech Square

Asus has announced that a new gaming centric smartphone will be released pretty soon in its famous rock series on the Chinese microblogging platform. Weibo the brand unveiled a teaser, creating some buzz about the upcoming gaming smartphone rock phone 3's successor could be known as rock phone 4. A live image of the back panel of a new rock smartphone has been leaked on Weibo. The image reveals that the upcoming handset might come with a redesigned rear panel, as ASUS is a Taiwanese company. The move to skip the numeral 4 from the series does make sense. As in Taiwan just like in China, the number 4 is considered unlucky, notably OnePlus.

A Chinese company skipped the numeral from its phone series as well. Moving on there is a mystery red button in the bottom left corner of the rock phone. The button could be used to activate gaming mode. The handset may come with a triple camera setup with a 64 megapixel primary lens. The sensor comes with quad Bayer technology.

The earlier leaked specs from geek bench suggest the phone could come with snapdragon 888 packs, eight gigabytes of ram and run android 11. Out of the box earlier leaks indicate that a FHD plus AMOLED screen with a 144hz refresh rate, could be available on the ASUS ROK phone 4. Previously, as the sous' smartphone was spotted on 3c certification, with the model number ASUS i005da, which hints that the phone might be known as rock phone 5. As per the listing, the rock phone will come with a 65 watt fast charging support on the connectivity part. The smartphone is listed with 5g support.

Digital chat station also shared a post on Weibo, stating that a dual cell battery equivalent to 6 000 milliampere hours would be equipped with the ASUS ROK phone 4.
