Apple watch Series 6/SE vs Fitbit Sense/Versa 3!

So today, I'm going to compare in depth, which one is better bang for your buck. The Apple Watch, series 6 or the Apple Watch SC or the Fitbit versa, 3 or Fitbit sets guys you're watching with tube, and if it's your first time, thank you so much for clicking here is where I review smartwatches, smartphones, headphones, etc. So, if you're into technology, consider subscribing so let's start with price and model options guys I have been using both these smartwatches since they were announced. So this whole video is also a long haul. Comparison of both these smartwatches for your ease of viewing everything is time coded along the video timeline and right off the bat Apple Watch Series 6 or in fact any Apple Watch, will never work with any other smartphone other than iPhone. So Apple Watch Series 6 comes in a variety of case colors and material options, as shown in this image.

The cheaper one will be the aluminum, starting with the base price of 569 Canadian dollar for the 44 millimeter version and 529 Canadian dollar for the 40 millimeter aluminum version, irrespective of the color and band option. Apple Watch also offers a GPS plus cellular version, which will cost 659 Canadian dollar for the 40 millimeter aluminum case and 699 Canadian dollar, for the 44 millimeter aluminum case. Obviously, if you were to go with a stainless steel or titanium case, the base price will go up, but you can create your own style from the Apple's website, with a ton of bands and color options, as shown in this image. So in terms of styling options, Apple Watch is a winner for me. You can even get their adidas edition or the Apple Watch Hermes edition now apple also offers a cheaper Apple Watch.

Se and its base model with 40 millimeter aluminum case will cost 369, Canadian dollar and 44 millimeters will cost 409 Canadian dollar. You can also get cellular version in the Apple Watch. Se, if you want, but in nutshell, the only difference between the series 6 and the Apple Watch SE is that the Apple Watch SC lacks ECG blood, oxygen sensor and always on display. So if you don't care about these features, you will save a lot of money. On the other hand, Fitbit sense will cost you 399 Canadian dollar.

At the time of filming this video Fitbit sense is Fitbit's premium smartwatch with all the bells and whistles Fitbit also offers a cheaper version like the Fitbit versa 3, which will cost only 299 Canadian dollar, which is identical to the Fitbit sense. It just lacks the ECG and EDA sensor, that is the electron dermal activity sensor. You can also get Fitbit Warsaw 2 for 229 Canadian dollar, and I have done a full video for Fitbit versa.3 versus the Fitbit versa 2, which is linked up in the card section and at the end of this video, be sure to check it out if you decide to go with Fitbit, also Fitbit smartwatches work with both apple and android smartphones. So, let's find out if it's worth paying 129 Canadian dollar extra to get the Apple Watch Series 6 base model over the Fitbit sense for those whom it matters in terms of unboxing experience, Apple Watch Series 6 provides a next level of unboxing experience. Everything, including the paperwork, the wristband and the watch as well as the charger are nicely presented.

The setup process of the Apple Watch is also pretty easy and self-explanatory, and super simple Fitbit sense also has a unique unboxing experience in a form of opening a book with the watch in the center and accessories on the side. They both offer a decent unboxing experience for the price you pay. Let me know in the comments down below which one did you like now in terms of specs. Instead of me, reading out all the specs just pause, the video and read through all the detail specs for both the smartwatches listed on the side of the video few mentionable differences are that the Apple Watch Series 644 millimeter version, has a 1.78 inch, retina LPO OLED display versus the 1.58 ml display on the Fitbit sense. Definitely, the Apple Watch 06 has a brighter display with 1000 nits of brightness.

Both the smartwatches have always on display the cheaper Apple Watch. Se does not have always on display Apple Watch.36 uses their ion x, glass and sapphire glass on their titanium version to protect the display versus Fitbit sense uses the gorilla glass, 3. Apple Watch Series.6 has 32 gigs of storage with 1 gig of internal ram. The storage on the Apple Watch is the highest amount of storage. I have ever seen on a smartwatch.

You can use it to store pictures, music, apps, etc. versus Fitbit sense or versa.3 only has a 4 gig of internal storage and unfortunately, you cannot store music for offline music playback for offline music playback. You have to pay for the premium Deezer or Pandora. That would cost you about 10 bucks a month which really sucks on Apple Watch. You can transfer music, but you have to pair a Bluetooth earbud like this Apple AirPods pro to listen to the music.

You can't use the built-in speaker for music playback. Both these watches have all the needed: sensors like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, heart rate, sensor, blood, oxygen sensor, altimeter, pedometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, etc. They both are five atmospheric pressure, water resistant. Now, with the specs being done. Let's talk about the battery life.

Fitbit sense has a five plus day of battery life. Again, this depends on your usage, the more GPS. You use the faster the battery drains, but I use the GPS about half an hour per day, but in general Fitbit sense or versa.3 will easily outlast the Apple Watch Series 6 or the Apple Watch SC, which has 304 William hour battery size. For me. Typically, the Apple Watch Series 6 goes up to a day and a half or maybe 2 days which it won't.

If you turn on the always on display Fitbit sense and versa.3 finally has the fast charge capability, taking only 40 minutes to fully charge. Fitbit uses its proprietary magnetic charger, but the charger is pretty strong Apple Watch Series.6 uses a wireless charger, but Apple Watch 36 will not wirelessly charge over a regular g wireless charger, so Fitbit sensor versa.3 will be your go-to smartwatch for battery life. Now, let's talk about some distinctive features: Apple Watch Series 6 has a spo2 sensor which Fitbit sense and versa 3 has, but unfortunately it does not take a reading whenever you want. It just gives you a relative nighttime blood, oxygen, reading, Fitbit sense and versa.3 both have a skin temperature measuring sensor. Now don't get your hopes high? It does not measure your temperature.

I wish it would, but it only measures relative nightly temperature variation, and you have to wear the watch for two or more consecutive night to get the baseline data. Fitbit sense has the EDA electron thermal activity sensor, which is primarily used to detect tiny changes in the sweat level of your skin, due to stress or other factors so to measure you have to put your whole palm in a way that both of the lids touches your palm, and you have to wait for two minutes to get your EDA scan. Thankfully, the watch will vibrate when you're done, as you won't know. What's going on underneath your palm versa.3 does not have this feature. Apple Watch.36 has background noise level, monitoring app, which measures background noise level and warns you if you enter a high background noise level environment with a bit of context with what each level number means. This is a very good feature for people who work in a high background.

Noise. Environment Fitbit does not offer this feature at all, maybe by a third party app. But it's not built in like the Apple Watch. Another unique feature is the built-in hand wash timer, which is the best among any other smartwatch. It works all the time without draining the battery life, and I have tried to trick it multiple times, but somehow Apple Watch Series.6 knows when I am washing my hand for real Fitbit does not offer this feature at all. Now, both these smartwatches offer all the basic features that you will need like alarm, flashlight find my phone stopwatch calendar, to-do list etc.

, but Apple Watch Series 6, looks more refined to me than the Fitbit. Both these watches offer payment options like Apple Pay, for the Apple Watch and Fitbit pay for the Fitbit sense and versa.3. Both these smartwatches have an app store where you can download a lot of functional paid and free apps, but Apple Watch, app store, hands down, has more apps than Fitbit sense or versa.3. , more importantly, you can download even paid apps directly from the watch without needing your phone versus on the Fitbit. You have to use the Fitbit mobile app to download all the apps again.

You may not find all the apps that you need on Fitbit, so for me, I would prefer the Apple Watch in terms of apps. Both the smartwatch offers multiple watch face options, but Apple Watch is limited. There aren't many watch face options as Apple does not allow 3rd party watch face developers. At this point. I hope they will allow 3rd party watch faces down the road, but I am sure from all the built-in watch faces you will find your favorite watch face.

You can even have a watch face with custom background image. I, like the infographic watch, face where I can access a lot of functions from the watch face itself. On the other hand, Fitbit sense and versa.3 has a bunch of watch, face options from the mobile app store. You can even use fit face to create your own custom watch face. I have created some amazing watch faces.

You can check them out from the links in the video description. The only drawback is that from the watch itself you can only access few watch faces. You have to go on the Fitbit mobile app store to download all the watch faces, but I personally, like the watch, face options on the Fitbit sense and versa.3. you'll find the Fitbit smartwatch playlist at the end of this video, where there are a lot of videos which you don't want to miss out so make sure to check it out guys if you made it this far in the video. Thank you so much for sticking around.

Please smash that, like button and hit that subscribe button, so you don't miss out any upcoming videos come on guys just do it. It won't cost you a dime. Now, both these watches offer voice. Assistant Apple Watch offers Siri, which is quite robust, and it does talk back. Siri can do a lot of functions, including smart functions like smart home device control.

I use Siri to control my garage door, smart lights, etc. So you can do a quick web search, it can open apps, it can set reminders, set timer, do a weather check and, more importantly, it can dial a call or send a text message which I use quite often, and I find it so handy so right off the bat. I will prefer Siri, however, Fitbit sense and versa.3 both have a built-in speaker and a microphone, and they both have Amazon, Alexei and Google Assistant, for which I have done a detailed video linked up in the card section, which you can check it out once you're done watching this one. However, Google Assistant on Fitbit cannot talk back despite having a built-in speaker, and it cannot make call or send a text message, but it can do pretty much. Anything else that you want same goes for the Amazon Alexa, but somehow Alexei talks back via the built-in speaker keep in mind.

You can only use one of them at a given point in time, either Alexei or Google Assistant, even Alexei, can't send a text message or make a call. Now both of these smartwatches can receive a regular Bluetooth. Audio call, however, on Apple Watch 06, you can even make a call directly from the watch, which is not possible on Fitbit. You can access contacts and call logs and even use the built-in speaker to talk back directly from the watch. This is quite robust, and it works for all the apps, like viper, etc.

Fitbit sense and versa.3 both can receive a Bluetooth audio call, but cannot make a call from the watch. The call quality is decent, but not better than Apple Watch. Now both these smartwatches can get notifications, but you can only reply or interact with notification from an Apple Watch in general. Any smartwatch other than Apple Watch cannot reply or interact with any notifications, except the Apple Watch. Mind you messages will only work on Apple Watch.

So if you are someone who wants the ability to reply to a message or interact with a notification and get messages just go with an Apple Watch now, let's talk about health and fitness tracking and wrap this video up with my final say. Both these watches can measure health data like heart rate accurately. Both these watches can measure ECG. Reading for Apple Watch, you have to touch the crown button on one hand and the other lead touches your skin. On the rest, your watch is on it takes about 29 seconds to get an ECG reading at the end.

Apple Watch asks you to input any symptoms. The reading will be then sent to your health app on your iPhone on the Fitbit sense. You have to place the index finger on the top right of the watch and the thumb on the bottom left of the watch. The second electrode touches the skin of the wrist it's placed on this also takes 30 seconds to get a reading, but Fitbit does not ask any symptoms input. It just sends the reading over to the Fitbit mobile app.

Both these readings can be exported to a PDF file format to be shared with your healthcare provider. Here is a reading from both these smartwatches side by side for comparison. Both these readings are normal, but you can see that the reading from the Fitbit sense is not smooth, and that could be because it has a 250 hertz sensor versus the Apple Watch.36 uses a 512 hertz sensor. They both uses 25 millimeters per second wave with two leads, so in short for ECG, they both are good, but I prefer the Apple Watch 06 as there are very few stutters and the graph is overall smooth, pretty much close to this pulse bit ex personal ECG EKG, monitor or tracker, for which I have done a full review linked up in the card section. You can check it out once you're done watching this one now Apple Watch can take a spo2 that is the blood oxygen reading in just 15.

Second, with a nice animation versus Fitbit sense can't take a reading, but it gives you a nighttime variation of the sp02, and for this you have to have a watch face called so to signature. A detailed video of this is linked up in the card section and in the playlist linked at the end of this video Fitbit sense has an EDA sensor, which is used for stress monitoring Apple Watch Series.6 at this point in time does not offer any stress, monitoring, features. Fitbit sense tracks your sleep with a good insight of your sleep data and gives you a sleep score. I have done a detailed video for sleep tracking which you'll find in the playlist linked at the end of this video Apple Watch. Series 6 does not give you a detailed insight to your sleep except the start and end time, despite it having all the needed sensors.

So I hope Apple Watch adds this feature down the road. Both these watches can auto, detect few workouts and give you a reminder alert to stand up after a period of inactivity. Both these watches have a breathing exercise session on Apple Watch. It's named as breath app where you can take a one to five minute, breathing session to relax and on Fitbit sense. There is to relax app.

Both these watches does great and gives you a vibratory feedback to inhale and exhale, and you can check out the history of your breathing sessions from the mobile app Apple Watch.36 has a ton of workout options, definitely more than Fitbit sense or versa.3. you'll find pretty much any workout that you want and Apple Watch. Does great with workout tracking it has a cool feature like the active calorie burnt and the total calorie burnt, which not a lot of smartwatches offer an Apple Watch is fairly consistent with the reading of heart rate, calorie distance, GPS, etc. There are barely any drops. Apple Watch also does great at tracking strength.

Training, workouts, Fitbit sense, on the other hand, has an exercise section, but not a lot of workouts as compared to the Apple Watch from my testing. Fitbit sense does give out few times, especially on the GPS signal. There were few heart rate drops and instances where the watch stopped, detecting heart rate, but it's fairly good at tracking, overall workout distance, speed, calorie burnt, GPS tracking, etc. Here is an example of a 6.8 kilometer long walk. I did with both these watches on my wrist Apple Watch Series 6, so 6.8 kilometer, with 582, total calorie burnt and 143 average heart rate versus Fitbit sense shows 6.29 kilometers, as the GPS signal gave out for few instances. However, the GPS route tracking is pretty close to the Apple Watch.

The average heart rate was 123 and a whopping 929 calorie burnt, which I don't think, so it's true, but the cool feature is the active zone minutes and I have done a detailed video for this linked in the playlist at the end of this video. So they both are pretty good at fitness and workout tracking. It's just. I would prefer the Apple Watch over the Fitbit. So here's my final verdict.

Both these watches are great. If you have an iPhone- and you know that you'll be sticking with your iPhone, then Apple Watch Series 6 to me feels the best option. You'll be paying only 129 Canadian dollar more before Texas. And if you find that's too much, then you can get Apple Watch. Se 40 millimeter, which is 30 cheaper than the Fitbit sense, but you will lose the ECG blood oxygen measurement and the always on display, but still enjoy all the cool smart features like the ability to get and interact with notifications.

Reply to messages, including messages answer, calls and make calls directly from the watch: music transfer up to 32 gigs for offline music playback, while the Bluetooth, earbuds, amazing fitness, tracking, Siri the smart assistant, hand, wash timer background noise, level, monitoring, etc. , Fitbit sense or versa.3 are good if you know that you would switch to an android device at a later point in time as it works on both apple and android. Phone Fitbit has few unique features like the relative skin temperature, EDA and stress tracking sleep tracking. Some health data is limited to Fitbit premium users. Only if you want to learn about the Fitbit premium, you can check out the video linked in the playlist at the end of this video, but Fitbit lacks music transfer for offline music playback, an inability to call directly from the watch.

You can't reply to any notifications or message when paired with an iPhone fitness tracking is good, but it's not as good as compared to the Apple Watch. So I personally will go with the series 6, but let me know your thoughts in the comments down below and check out more videos for both these smartwatches from the playlist linked at the end of this video. So I really hope you found this video helpful. If you did, then please give this video a thumbs up. It really means a lot.
