Apple Watch Series 6 - The 48 Hour Review!

So this is the brand-new Apple Watch Series 6. , it's the same design as the previous generation minus the new color options. Apple is offering this in space gray, gold, blue and red. I went with the blue. It's different. It's also one of the few ways that people know you have the new Apple Watch, but I think it looks classy, especially when you pair it with a gold or gray and gold wristband unboxing if it's not much different compared to the series 5 except there is no longer a charging break in the box.

Just a charging cable get used to this. The upcoming iPhones is rumored to not have a charging brick either from an environmental perspective. This is fantastic, but from a user just getting into the Apple ecosystem and buying their first apple product, you might feel a bit let down. On top of series.6 apple introduced a new wristband called the solo loop. The one they sent me for review is a bit big, but thankfully they offer a neat tool on the Apple website to measure your wrist.

The advantage of using a solo loop is that it's easier to put on not life-changing, but a bit faster, as you don't have to secure any clasps like you would on a traditional watch band. Thankfully, the price is the same at 399 or a bit more. If you opt for the LTE model, I always go with Lt I jog and being able to stream music directly from the Apple Watch without having to carry a phone is definitely the way to go. The biggest new feature is a blood oxygen monitor. This is exclusive to the series 6, since it has a new infrared sensor.

It takes about 15 seconds to work, and it measures your vo2 level. Mine was 99. It worked on my first attempt, but you must keep your arm completely still best to rest it on a table. It's not a must-have feature, but continuously recording data over time could come in handy, potentially discovering any symptoms, usually when blood oxygen levels consistently drop below 90 percent, there could be underlying issues like sleep disorders, respiratory issues or even lung disease. The new sleep tracking option is one of my favorite updates.

I used it the other night, and it monitors your sleeping patterns. It shows two basic results, such as the time you're in bed. Compared to the time you actually slept my active sleep sucked, which means I was playing cod war zone right before I went to bed and had a difficult time falling asleep. If you click on the heart rate icon, it will show your average heart rate throughout the night. This is important to me, as my dad suffers from atrial fibrillation, where the heart randomly beats way too fast for no reason potentially causing strokes or heart failure.

I don't have it, but I'm sort of worried it might run in the family, so this data can be useful with the Apple Watch Series 6 having the same 18-hour battery life as the series 5, I was worried that my battery would take a huge hit using the new sleep tracking feature, but I only lost 7 percent with do not disturb mode on charging is faster with series 6. It can now charge to full in 1.5 hours. For example, I went for a run in the morning and the battery went down by 15 percent, since I was using cellular to stream music and by the time my shower was done. I was back at 100. I think, if you're using this to work out and track sleep, small micro charges throughout the day is the best way to go.

Emojis are now a watch face. If, if that's your thing, I used my face for a bit, then I got sick and tired of looking at myself. So I started poking my mug. It felt good to beat myself up and the moi responded happily, which made me feel kind of crazy, but apple continues to add. New watch faces to choose from hopefully one day we will get third party options.

Besides the new sensor, you get a new s6 chip, which is based on apple's a13 bionic found in the iPhone 11. It's supposed to be 20 faster than the chip inside the series 5. It's the efficiencies of the chip that allow things like a 2.5 times brighter, always on display compared to the series, 5 and improved efficiencies when running but actual raw speed. When moving through the menus and opening up apps, I didn't really notice a difference compared to the series 5. And listen, that's not a bad thing, since the series 5 feels nice and fluid apple will also introduce the Apple Watch.

Se a more affordable Apple Watch, it's pretty much a series 5, it uses the same chip, but it doesn't have an always on display and blood oxygen monitoring. This is the watch to get if you're looking at buying your first Apple Watch. In fact, it even makes a great upgrade from the series 203. To be honest, I think most people should just buy the Apple Watch. Sc, as I feel the oxygen monitoring is not a must-have feature right now, but if you're planning on keep this for a very long time, you'll get a bit more wiggle room out of the series.

Six personally, I'm mostly excited for fitness, plus the 9.99 service that apple's releasing. That gives you access to a bunch of workout videos that require very little equipment. So that's a quick look or a little review on the Apple Watch, SC and series 6. I plan on reviewing the fitness plus service when it does launch. So if you have any questions about that, let me know in the comments below like the video, if you liked it subscribe.

If you haven't already, and I'll see you guys in the next video.
