Apple iPhone SE 2020 : Unboxing Impressions : India Retail Unit and Price

Hey guys, what's up, this is Bella if you're watching I again and finally, after the lockdown has lifted in Delhi. Well, it's not fully lifted, but now that delivery services are allowed, we've got the new iPhone. Se I've been wanting to test this out and form an opinion of my own on whether this is going to be a good smartphone for a price of forty-two thousand nine hundred rupees. It is actually this version is the 256 gigabyte version, and this is priced at fifty-eight thousand three hundred rupees- and this is also the product red which is their limited edition color. So packaging is very Apple s. Nothing special over here you can see basic specifications on the back and because this is the product right.

The iPhone branding and the Apple branding on the box is also in a sort of Chrome red or a glossy red which is interesting, I'm going to quickly unpack age this and take the phone out and see what that looks like so. First n is the product red sort of information. It tells you that product red products, so Apple, mostly red products from Apple, are a part of product red, and they contribute to the fight against HIV and AIDS. So if you do get one of these you're actually helping the cause a little. So that's great you of course get your Quick Start Guide, some Apple stickers and some basic legal and warranty information, so I'm just going to put these to the side, we've seen enough of these I think now this is the phone itself.

You can see that it's got a very compact form factor. In fact, if I place my iPhone 11 Pro max next to it, this thing is tiny or the 11pro Max is massive. However, you would like to look at it. You can see that these things are worlds apart. Now, a lot of people have been saying that this is an old design and because of the touch ID in the front, it does appear to be an old design, but we'll talk about that a little later, let's first take a look at everything: that's inside the box, so I remove the packaging.

We've got black on the display over here this time around and, of course, the product right with a glass back. This time we've seen it with metal back in the past, as well as glass back on the iPhone 10 R as well. We've got a wall charger. Now this is a 5 watt wall, charger I wish they would have included at least a 10 watt or an 18 watt, but that doesn't happen. You also get the standard ear pods.

These aren't 3.5, of course, because their lightning connectors, because the iPhone SE doesn't have a headphone jack and then, of course, you get a standard USB to lightning cable inside the box. That'll allow you to charge your phone or sync it up with your computer. If you so choose to do that. So, while the device is booting up, let's quickly go over some specifications. Now we do have a front facing camera on at the top over here.

As you can see, you have a considerable amount of forehead and chin. You don't get an edge-to-edge display. You get a seven megapixel F 2.2 camera on the front. The earpiece over here you do have your usual sensors. Of course the 4.7 inch display and a touch ID along with a massive chin at the bottom. So the only real giveaway is that for 2020, this phone has considerable amount of bezels, but the sheer form factor of this product for an Apple device, and if you are looking for iOS with a compact form factor, this has to be the best form factor recording to me.

I, really like the convenience of this tiny size and already I, seem to like how it feels in the hand, but of course, I'm not too fond of the chin and the forehead, and that's purely because I've been using a phone that almost goes ice to edge. If you ignore the notch now, if you have an existing iPhone, you can easily set this up, but I would want to do it in a normal way. So if you don't have an iPhone before the iPhone SE, you can set it up according to your new settings, and then you can set up an iCloud account and all of those things as well now on the bottom. Here are your microphone and speaker, even though you have symmetrical grilles they're, not dual speakers they're, just one microphone in one speaking, you have the Lightning connector in the center, which is flanked on either side by screws, which possibly hold the back case in place on the right side is the SIM tray which is going to be a single NATO SIM, and you also have the power button. There's nothing on the top on the left.

Is the mute switch quickly going into silent mode, and then you also have the volume rockers over here? Okay, so on the back, you have a 12 megapixel camera. This is a standard wide camera, and then you also have an F 1.8 aperture on this. You can also see a microphone right next to it. That's for video recording when you use it for video recording, and then you have your LED flash, which is the quad, color or true tone flash, and this has a six element lens, and you will be able to do.4K video at 60 frames a second on this, making it one of the cheapest high quality 4k video recording devices and, if you're planning on capturing 4k video, you would want to get the 256 gigabyte variant. You can also do a 1080p video at 240 frames per second for slo-mo, which is absolutely fantastic.

So if you're somebody who's into slo-mo and don't want to spend a lot of money on getting a device, this one will definitely fit your bill for that. Okay, so it feels kind of alien to do this on an iOS device after so long. But you can quickly set up your touch ID, it's actually much faster than what I remember it to be okay, so you can also see the haptic settings again, something that we used to see earlier, so the amount of haptic feedback you want for the touch ID you can set that up. You can also set up your display zoom, since this is a smaller display if you're somebody who likes a slightly larger display, you can set that up during the startup of the device itself, so this, like I mentioned, feels slightly alien because of the size and the way the screen is made, but the form factor seems really cool. Now, of course, you can download all your latest apps and because this has the Apple a 13 Bionic chip, you can get almost the same performance that you can from something like this, which has the a13 Bionic chip.

Of course, certain things are going to be limited. You probably have less RAM here, and you have a much lesser battery life on a phone like this, but because of the chipset you'll be able to run all modern games on this granted. Gaming may not be the best with this size of the screen, but if you wanted to, this is a really powerful device and, of course, I'm going to be taking it through its paces. Let's come back to the display. It's a 4.7 inch display. It's got 625 minutes of brightness, so if I wanted to I'm so used to pulling of the control center from the top right, that I was looking for it there, but in these phones, where there's a power, there's a home button, the control centers at the bottom.

So it's been a while since I use these phones. But if we talk about the resolution, we've got eight 1334 by 750 pixel resolution. Here, it's a 326, so it's a Retina display still not full HD, plus so lots of shortcomings. If you look at it, it's the display, primarily which is lacking, because everything else here is pretty much updated. You get the latest Wi-Fi! You get wireless charging on this, and this is also ip67 water and dust resistant.

So it is weather resistant. If you want to take it out in or whatever it's going to last, you no problems whatsoever. In fact, you can also sort of take it for a swim. I have taken my phones for a swim up in the past, and they've survived without any problems. So, if that's something that concerns you, this is an iPhone that, if you use the credit card deals that are available can be bought for under forty thousand rupees.

That offers the a13 Bionic chip that offers 4k, video, recording and one of the latest cameras that offers wireless charging water resistance and offers the latest iOS along with its performance. The only real downside is the display, and that is what allows Apple to sell this at a lower price. Is this phone worth it're going to be testing it out in the next couple of days? I can tell you that I absolutely love the form factor. I have not been a fan of big sized phones for the longest time. If Apple actually made a device like this, with a full display going from edge to edge and a notch like they do in the iPhone, 11 Pro and 11 Pro max I would get it.

I would get that as my primary device if it had all the same specs as their flagship devices. I would definitely pick up. One of those phones but I'll be testing this out in depth, and I'm going to be coming back with a full review. Also, one more thing that I forgot to mention is that this also has the dual SIM capability, where you can pop in a NATO SIM on the side, and then you can also have an e same that is set up with your device, much like their flagship devices as well. So you get the dual SIM capability, which you didn't get on the previous generation of the iPhone SE you get that on this phone as well, so this becomes a really budget-friendly in comparison to the other iPhones.

This becomes a really budget friendly alternative to buying an expensive iPhone. Now is it going to compare to some of the other phones that are available on the Android side of things, so you've got in this price bracket? Lots of OnePlus devices you've also got lots of Samsung devices, but we'll test that in a later video, like I mentioned, we'll come back with the full review. This is going to be it for this video. If you liked it doesn't forget to smash the like button, if you have any particular questions about the iPhone SE, 2020 drop them in the comment section below, and we'll try and get those done in other full video there's been hard, knock power. Thank you guys for watching, and I will SE you in the next one.
