The iPad Pro 2021 has finally been revealed, and I'll be sharing the details right after this!, if you're new here and want to stay up to date with the latest tech please hit subscribe, followed by the bell. You can also keep up on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter by clicking the links in the description. So today we finally got the reveal of the new iPad Pro 2021, along with confirmation of some new specs, as well as the release date before we get started, though, please like the video, if you're a fan of apple. Let me know in the comments what device you're actually watching today's video from so. First, let's talk about the launch date of the iPad Pro 2021. It was expected to be way back in March and that, of course, never happened now.

It's firmly believed to be in April, although there's a bit of a confliction when it comes to the date. Mark German of Bloomberg was one of the first to announce that both the 12.9 inch and the 11-inch iPad pros are going to be coming in April, and while he didn't give us an exact date, he did advise of hardware upgrades, including the mini, LED display, a chip on par with the new m1 and some camera upgrades from the predecessor. Now information has been a little light on the ground since then, but we've now got leaks apple pro weighing in on the date he tweeted a few days ago to say that there's not actually going to be an individual launch event for the iPad Pro, and it's instead going to come via a press release with the magic keyboard and that's actually going to be tomorrow. He also advises that air tags are delayed again. So it's looking more and more like the scenario we had with air power in the past delay after delay until it's cancelled all together now.

Apple also announced that they're now going to allow third-party device makers to take advantage of ultra-wideband technology in the supported Apple devices with the u1 chip, while the previous iPad Pro didn't have this, the 2021 could well come with it, but third-party devices now have support on the find my network, meaning either apple, have given up with their air tags and would rather someone else took over or more than likely, they're giving third parties a head start on the find my network to not only see how people react in terms of the privacy, but it also allows them to gather plenty more data ahead of launching their own, and this will allow them to optimize air tags even further. Now, next up, we finally have the reveal of both the new 11 inches and the 12.9-inch iPad. Pro 2021 delete comes from sunnydixon via Twitter, and he's tweeted a photo of both the front and the rear of the new iPad Pro along with the new iPad Mini. So from the front, you can see that as I've been telling you for some time, the changes are very minimal. It's the same shape same design and by the looks of it the same bezel.

One thing that is going to be different, however, is the new mini LED display on the 12.9 inch model. This is supposedly going to be a huge improvement over the predecessor on the rear. However, there is a change and that's the lens in place of a LIDAR scanner. But, to be honest, while many sources are reporting this, I would be taking it with a grain of salt. For now, the images we see here are actually dummy models of the iPad Pro and, while they're based on actual cad information, they aren't real iPads they're generally used for case manufacturers, and this allows them to create a suitable case with even the camera lenses in mind in the cad data.

It's going to provide the lens size and its placement, but it won't give any specifics on the lens, so it's likely still going to be a LIDAR scanner with apple, promoting LIDAR technology in it even being included on the new phones. It's going to be very unlikely for them to remove it from the iPads as no doubt they do want to encourage app development using the LIDAR technology. But what you can take away from this information is that we probably are going to see the iPad pros this month and that they probably will look the same as last time, but they will of course, have hardware upgrades now for those of you that are excited about the iPad Pro 2021, we're now going to run through the full specs design and the expected pricing for both models for my regular viewers. You guys have seen this so just jump to the next video, but if you're new here then make sure you hit subscribe now, and we're going to get right into it. So, to start with, we've got the 11-inch iPad Pro it's going to be an 11 inch, 120 hertz display, but we're unsure at this time.

If it's going to be OLED or mini led, there are rumors of an increased resolution, but the exact details are not known at this time. We're expecting a single selfie camera embedded into the top bezel and rumors are suggesting a 10 megapixel camera on the rear, we're expecting a dual camera setup consisting of a wide and an ultra-wide camera, and we also get the additional LIDAR sensor. It's going to be powered by the a14 chipset, which is most likely coming under the name. A14X we're expecting six gigs of ram along with a choice of 128, 256, 512 or even one terabyte storage, although its size has been reduced slightly we're still expecting a 28.65 watt hour battery with 18 watt fast charge, wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. It's of course going to support.5G and reports are suggesting it'll be subbed 6 gigahertz, along with millimeter wave. The phone is, of course, going to ship with IPA OS 14, and while some sources are claiming that it's going to have touch ID and face ID, we expect it to be face ID only when it comes to the pricing.

We're expecting that the Wi-Fi only model to start from 800 and the Wi-Fi plus 5g to start from around 950. Next up, we've got the 12.9-inch iPad. Pro now this is, of course, going to be a 12.9-inch mini LED display, but it's going to have a higher resolution than the 11 inch, but going by their previous releases, it's likely to have the same amount of pixels per inch, we're expecting a single selfie camera embedded into the top bezel and, as rumors suggest, a 10 megapixel camera on the rear. We get a dual camera setup, consisting of a wide camera, an ultrawide camera and the additional LIDAR sensor. It's going to be powered by the a14 chipset, which is most likely coming under the name.

A14X we're expecting the same ram in storage. So that's six gigabytes of ram along with 128, 256, 512 or even one terabyte storage, because it's larger than the 11 inch. It also has a larger battery we're expecting a 36.71 watt hour battery with 18 watt, fast charge, wireless and reverse wireless charging. It will, of course, support 5g and again. Reports are suggesting at both sub 6 gigahertz and mm wave, we're expecting the Wi-Fi only model to start from 1 000 and the Wi-Fi plus 5g to start from 1150.

So it's great that we finally got so much information about both models of the Apple iPad Pro it's looking like a great tablet with plenty of hardware upgrades over the predecessor, but still keeping the same iPad. Pro looks, of course, with the launch expected to be imminent. Then it's not long until we're going to get everything confirmed by apple, but as always, I'd like to know your thoughts in the comments so who out there is excited about the iPad Pro 2021. Do you think there is gonna, be a LIDAR scanner, but thanks for watching the video, if you liked it smash the thumbs up, if you didn't hit the thumbs down twice, and I'll, see you guys in the next one you?.
