Amazfit Stratos 3 vs Huawei Watch GT 2 : Which is the better watch?

What's going on YouTube, this is jabber tech, and these are two of the best budget-friendly Smartwatch, slash Fitness, watches on the market. Right now, the one on my left is the Huawei watch gt2 and the one on my right is the amaze fit straddles three. They both feature. First beat technologies in them and any watch that calls itself an active watch. A fitness watch should include first beat technologies or some sort of technology. Just like that.

To give you your vo2 max your training effect, your training load and so much more. Both of these are around the $200 price point and they both serve different markets. If you're interested in picking these up check, my link down below I'll try and get some coupon codes for you and if I can,, they'll be listed right down there. Both of these watches as well could arguably really go against some big boys like Garmin out there. If you don't want to spend a thousand bucks on a watch, I hear you.

These two watches can be perfect for you, but both of them have their flaws. They're not exactly perfect, but let's get into this little comparison between these two watches, and hopefully I can help make up your mind on which watch you should buy. Let's talk about some things that are a little different about these watches. You can see the styling cues are completely different. The wall we watch gt2 is a more elegant watch.

In my opinion, it also features a speaker and a microphone. The Amaze fit straddles 3 over here does not have a speaker does not have a microphone and one could argue, it's a little a more little bit sporty or in design because of that carbon fiber all around the casing, which I think is perfect for the gym, but not so perfect for the suit, but if you're wearing a suit the while we watched, GT 2 will be perfect and if you have this orange strap on it, it'll also fit nicely in the gym. Both of these straps can be replaced, 22 millimeters for both of them, so you can swap them out for metal bands for cloth bands for whatever type of band you want. The wall we watched gt2. Also features a larger screen at one point: 3 9 inches, whereas the Amaze fit straddles, has a 1.3 4-inch screen the wall we watched GT 2 also has a different screen technology, which is really more elegant. In my opinion, the colors just pop.

It's a lot of contrast here. Then the Amaze fit straddles. Three blacks are black. Colors are very colorful and some very bright panel, no issues with this panel in direct sunlight though, and in the darkness. Of course, it gets dim enough, but the colors on the Huawei watch gt2 just are something really, really nice to look at.

So if you are using this watch as a daily watch, the while we watch gt2 kind of has a one-up on the Amaze fit straddles three, but where the Amaze fit straddles, three actually beats. The Huawei watch is with its trans reflective screen here, which means that, if you're serious about running, if you're biking, if you're outdoors a lot hiking, and you're in direct sunlight, you're really going to be able to see the straddles three screens a lot better than you will -. While we watch GT ?, it just means that the colors are just not as punchy they're, just not as bright, and some could argue they might be. They might be a little dull. But again, if you want to view your watch in direct sunlight, the straddles three has a leg up on the wall.

We watched GT 2 just because, even though you don't have those punchy colors, you don't have those bright, vibrant, colors you're, going to be able to see this in just about any lighting condition, whereas the while we watched GT, 2 you're, probably going to have a little of an issue if you're in absolute direct sunlight the straddles three-way in terms of screen technology just for the outdoorsy type of person. Another difference between these two watches is the. While we watched gt2 has an automatic brightness level or in it, so it will automatically dim or brighten the screen depending on your surroundings. That's always a huge plus when you were in a Smartwatch, but the straddles 3 you will have to go in and manually adjust the brightness level again. I usually leave this at around the two or three.

This is what it looks like, and it's actually been pretty good in just about any lighting condition, because, where the while we watched GT 2, has to really brighten itself when you're in direct sunlight, the straddles 3 is just chilling and does a great job, just in its shimmies form being readable in direct sunlight. So again, you really just have to go in and change the brightness level when you're out at night- and you don't want to blind the people around you now in terms of styling I, think the while we watched GT 2 beats out the straddles 3 by miles and miles if you're looking for a more attractive more of an everyday type of watch. It really is super thin light with that speaker and microphone in here. It's a great combination, Smartwatch / Fitness watch, and this will look great, whether you're wearing a suit, whether you're wearing a casual attire or whether you're wearing gym attire. This is going to fit in regardless of what you're wearing and then the straddles 3.

While it's not an ugly watch. It's definitely more intended to be a watch that you wear at the gym. It's a more subdued! Look it's a more sporty look! It's a more look at me, I'm about to go for a run, and it's definitely a watch that when you go for a run with you're going to be really happy because you can control everything about this watch from these four buttons on the side. So if your watch is wet, if you are swimming or whatever the case may be, you can just automatically go through every single menu, and you can select everything from these four buttons on the side. But in terms of looks, this is a little taller.

It's also a light watch, so it's not heavy at all. But it's just not something. That's going to look good if you're wearing a suit, and it's really not going to look good if you're, outside the gym. Just in my personal opinion, I think that the carbon fiber look helps it end, it's a little of a hindrance as well, because you don't always want to wear a carbon fiber at least I. Don't, but let me know what you guys think about the styling down in the comments below which one do you think is a more attractive watch, which one would you wear on a daily basis, but again, both of these watches are his watches first, so both of them do really, really great when it comes to fitness both of these watches, while they call themselves smartwatches, they both do not allow you to reply to text messages.

You can get notifications from just about every app on these two watches, and again I'm using this on Android, if you're using iOS, if you're on an Apple device. There are some limitations, so go check out the manufacturers' website for that, but on Android I got just about every notification from every app that I have installed, but I'm not able to reply to it. So let me show you a quick little demonstration of a text message that comes in, and it's just sad that the wire watch gt2 can even display emojis. This is what the text message looks like and again for some reason: Huawei does not let you see emojis, whereas the straddles 3. You can, but both of these watches, you really can't reply to any of these messages.

It just would have been nice to see some sort of predefined reply, hello, goodbye, I'm, running late, whatever the case may be, or even let you kind of create your own define messages, but again, this all could be fixed with some software updates, but as of right now, this is what you get so again replying that messages that come in is not possible and any one of these watches. Lastly, before we get into Fitness, because these are fitness watches, but they're also smartwatches and again, this is really to help you guys figure out, which watch is best for you, which watch better suits your needs. The last thing I want to talk about before we get into the fitness and battery on both of these watches, his music support. You do have Bluetooth support on both of them. You do have the ability to pair up your favorite Bluetooth, headphones and transfer music to the four gigabytes of storage on both of these watches.

So you can change the track if you're listening to Spotify on your phone by pressing the next track on both of these watches, or you can download music directly to it, such as mp3s from your file list. But you cannot stream from Spotify or any other service like that, but go ahead and download your favorite tracks and listen to them as you work out. So music support on both of these watches is excellent. Let's talk about Fitness on both of these watches, because it's really, really hard to distinguish, which is a better watch. They both were excellent in terms of heart rate monitoring.

They both are excellent in terms of GPS, while the straddles three actually locked down a GPS signal, a lot faster than the while we watched GT 2 and by a lot faster, I'm saying about 15 seconds or so I use locked on with the straddles three and about 15 to 30 seconds, whereas the wall we watched gt2 took about 45 seconds here in an urban city I'm in New, York City, when I was out in a completely open field, they both locked on very quickly but again, a lot of us run in cities. So I just want to. Let you know what the lock on time would be for both of them. They both are 580 m, so you can swim with both of these watches. You can track your swimming abilities, although I'm, not a swimmer, you can do that, of course, for you, runners out there.

These watches give you a lot of information, and I'm going to show you a sample of both of these. Both of these watches. What they'll give you when you go for a run? Both of these watches also offer sleep tracking. So you can go ahead and track your sleep. If that's something that you're into the next thing, that's huge when it comes to Smartwatch is battery life, and both of these watches will get you about a week if you're the average Joe, if you work out at the gym, if you go for a couple, runs during the week, I got nine days on my GT too, and I got six days on the straddles three and that's working out five days a week at the gym.

I also went for two-mile runs four out of those five days, so the more you use, GPS. Of course, the more frequently you're going to have to charge these watches, with ultra Trek mode on the straddles three they're claiming you get about 70 hours of GPS, 35 and normal use, and it's about 30 hours with the wall. We watched gt2 here so, if you're doing a marathon, both of these really should get you through the marathon or your triathlon, without any issues whatsoever where I think the straddles three just inches ahead of the wall we watched gt2 is in terms of tracking is in terms of just about what you can set for your fitness goals now I like both of these watches, because they both will show you your heart rate zone as you're working out. So you see on the wall. We watch gt2 that top color-coded heart rate zone is always constant, so you'll always be able to see where you are in terms of your heart rate, and then you also have a little a guy that you can run with what I like about it.

The gt2 really gives you a nice colorful way to see where you are. Of course, you get to see your heart rate, your pace and your distance. You can also see your steps, your cadence, your calories, burned, etc. , etc. , but on the straddles three here, if I resume my little fake run right now, you'll also be able to see your heart rate zone as you're working it'll.

Tell you right on the bottom here where your heart rate is, if you're in warm up fat, burning, etc. , etc. , and you also get the same kind of screens for your average pace. Your cadence, your speed and a bunch of other things like your altitude here, but I think the straddles three just give you a little more control over what you want in terms of your goals, and you also get a really cool map here. That shows you where you are in your run, and then you can also find your way back using this little map, so I think the straddles three does a better job in terms of I.

Don't know in terms of just giving you more control over how you want your fitness level to go and there's that head back button, so it should help. You find your way back. I haven't tried that just, yet I plan to try it when it gets a little warmer, but to show you what I mean if I stop this run over here, let me hit discard, and you have more control over your fitness goals. So if you go into activity goal for the run, you can go ahead and change, of course, and the watch will really help you speed up or slow down depending on what you set. So you have easy fat burning.

You can also change this over here. If you want to intense cardio, you have extreme cardio, you also have endurance. You have a bunch of a bunch of presets in here. That'll really help you to achieve your fitness goal, and you can also do other metrics as well. So if you want to just have a target for your distance say you want to run three miles.

You can set that right there. You can set your time your calorie goal. Furthermore, you can also go back, and you can not set a goal and that's just like a free run. If you want to, you also just have a lot more ways to kind of keep you on track, if you want to so, if you go into alerts, for example, you can have guidance, you can also have a lap alert. You can also set a heart rate alert here, so if you really want to make sure you don't exceed a certain heart rate level, you can go in and set it and the watch will let you know if it's getting a little too high and the same here.

If you go to the heart rate zone, alert it'll, let you know what your max is. So if you want to make sure that you don't pass some sort of heart rate zone for your training, you can go in, and the watch will let you know when it's time to kind of slow down or maybe even speed up same goes for pace alert. You get a bunch of different ways to really customize your workout on the straddles three here and that's what I think kind of inches it. Apart from the wall, we watched gt2, you no matter which one you choose, though, you're going to be able to set some sort of goal. So, if I show you on the wall, we watched gt2 the same thing, you can go into goal, and you can change your distance, your time or your calories.

If you want to you, also get reminders here for the same thing for your heart rate. So if you want to be reminded about your heart rate, you can do so, and you can see the different zones you can set here. You can also see your training effect, and I'll. Give you conditional updates, as well as your running. But again, both of these watches do give you some sort of way to really set whatever your goal is to really be able to go in and set those goals for you, so that you can achieve your fitness goals, and you can really become a better runner or become a better biker, swimmer or whatever the case may be, but I think you just get a little more control with the straddles three over the GT to here.

But again, both of these watches are absolutely great. They're, absolutely beasts at being a fitness watch with first beat technologies in here you're. Getting a really capable watch here, you're, getting a really statistically filled watch at the end of your run, that both of these watches really can hold their own against the big boys like Garmin at about 200 bucks, you're, saving, a lot of money, and you're getting a lot of the same information, and both of these watches again were excellent in terms of step tracking heart rate. Just about everything my Garmin did. These watches did very close to it, if not better, but again at 200 bucks versus a thousand dollars for some high-end garments out there.

You really can't go wrong with either one of these watches, so at the end of the day, guys, which one do you think I'm going to wear more often well, I'm going to tell you I, think it's going to be the wall. We watched gt2 just because I, like the speaker, I like the microphone and the limitations on both of these watches are pretty much the same. You can't reply to text messages in both of these watches. You don't have an app store. Furthermore, you don't really have a watch face store, although the straddles three has a watch face store, it is limited.

There's only about six watch faces in there and that's just a huge bummer, but in either case I would rather wear the while we watch gt2 just because I like the styling just because when I'm not at the gym, if I'm just walking around, if I'm just out on a date, I could still wear this and not look like I. Just came from the gym because of the carbon fiber look but really depending on which watch better suits your needs. You're not gonna, go wrong with either one of them, but let me know down in the comments below which one you would prefer, which would you buy, which one did you buy actually, and I think you can't go wrong with either one of them. It just depends on the styling and if you have any questions on either one of these I'd be happy to help you out and answer them. If I can thank for watching guys, I really appreciate it thumbs up, subscribe, and I'll catch.

You guys next time you.
