Acer C720 vs Lenovo N20p Chromebook

In this video we're going to take a look at two Chromebooks, the Acer c720, the Lenovo n 20p. They look the same. They feel the same. The way the same they both have 11.6-inch screens with 136 by 768 resolution, but there are big differences between the two. So, if you're looking at these two devices, I'll go over the differences in this video, including some performance figures. The first thing to note, then, is different series between the designs here, and there are major differences that become apparent immediately.

This is a standard or laptop design. Screen angles go back to yeah. This is about a 45-degree angle at the back here, nice and usable, but it is a classic laptop design. The Lenovo and 20p, however, has a different type of hinge that on a not only lays flat, but can actually go into a stand mode. In addition to that, it is a touchscreen device.

So what you've got is the ability to use the built-in touch features on Chrome OS and to have a casual browsing experience and what I would call a coffee table experience? So those are them. That's the main difference between the two in terms of design there's a second difference to the Lenovo n20 P is based around a Bay Trail M quad-core CPU running 2.1 to 2.4 gigahertz, there's a couple of models, but it's around the 2 gigahertz mark that you'll find these Bay Trail M CPUs. On the other hand, if we bring in the Acer c720 P, this one only runs at one point: 4 gigahertz, but it's running a stellar ARM based on the has world core architecture which per clock is much more powerful and in fact what we've got here are two devices that look and wear the same, but one is way more powerful than the other by about 2 X. If you have a look at some peacekeeper scores, you'll see the ASA way ahead of the Lenovo. Also in Consider ? we've got differences in startup times boot uptimes, page load times and a lot of other activities too.

There are differences in the keyboard to the Acer. C720 has a much more solid keyboard to it, with a longer throw on the keys, whereas the N 20 P is feeling a little cheap, and it's a lot of flex in the middle of this as well. Throw on the keys is minimal, and the feedback is minimal as well. The C 720p would be more the writers' device, the N, 20 P, leaning, more towards a casual sofa style usage, tweets short emails, etc. , etc.

There's a difference in the ports ?, you have a full HDMI port on the C 720 and on the N 20 P, there's a micro, HDMI port. So once again, the sea 720 leaning a little more towards work orientated design with the N 20 P a little more of a casual side in terms of ports, both of the devices are sealed units and inside there's a difference in the battery as well. The Acer, c720 p has a 40 forward hour battery inside it. The Lenovo n 20 p has a smaller 34 35 watt hour battery inside, but bear in mind the Acer c720 Pete requires more power to drive it because it's a more powerful CPU and, in fact, can be up to double in some cases. So what, in fact you do get is more battery life out of the N 20 P, compared to the C 720p, based on the same workloads.

Another major difference you'll see is on the C.720P you've got fan outputs, the N 20 P, the Lenovo is completely fast and therefore completely silent. The screens are pretty much exactly the same. Both TFT panels, 1 366 by 768, both having limited viewing angles and there's really no difference between the two on those quite poor in terms of quality but acceptable for just average browser work. So when we talk about the price, it should be very clear to you, which one you're going to want right now, the C 720p. The word course is $199 the N 20 P, the consumer-oriented ground.

The house casual Chromebook is 349, so you're paying for the design you're paying for the touch tickets. Around 16 gigs storage on both, so that's a quick overview of the two devices hope that helps. If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to put those in underneath the video in the comments section, and I'll see what I can do to answer them, thanks for watching and don't forget to check out crow, Bert world com, for more information and don't forget to like the video. If you enjoyed this thanks for watching.
